Secondly biscuit and I agree here but may disagree on other things.We don't know one another and we are not ganging up together as happened on another thread and got banned for it.Biscuit sees the sense in what I'm saying and I agree with what he is saying.Simple as that.And he's a man so maybe you'll accept what he's saying over a woman.lol
Not this is the last time Im going to explain this.I see by your profile info that you are a fairly new Christian.I understand your zealousness,I do but you need to hear me this time.And Im not angry at all,just once again explaining to you.Here we go...Ms Parton claims to be an evangelical Christian,not Catholic.That is her claim.She has said Christians are judging gays to say the lifestyle is wrong.Ms Parton makes a a lot of money from Christian support of Dollywood,her theme park which has a resident gospel group.I'm saying Christians are not judging homosexuality by saying that the lifestyle is wrong.God has judged it as wrong already.Yes liars are sinners,there are all kinds of sins one can commit but Ms Parton was talking about homosexuals.No one is bashing,I have made that abundantly clear.The post was about what Ms Parton said,that was the discussion and how people felt about it.
Lastly,judging and calling sin sin are two different things.John the Baptist called out the king in public and said "you are sleeping with your brothers wife" was he judging an outsider? Or was he calling sin sin? Did he call out every sin in the crowd? No he was talking to the king.He was not judging.He was stating a FACT.Again I say we are to love a person who is homosexual,pray for and with them if they will allow it. Speak with love and let them know they are loved,God loves them but has a better way.
Now fredjames I hope you have honestly read what I said and heard me.Judging is not the same as calling sin sin and warning someone they are on the wrong path.No matter what the sin is.But the post was about Ms Parton and what she said not about sin in general.Hopefully this will be the last comment I have to make.But I doubt it.I find people continually express the same idea without reading the post.We shall see...
Anyone can come from a Christian and church background in their lives and that does not justify Scripturally that Spiritually they have been given everything to rule out others. For the gifts of the HOLY SPIRIT is
distributed among born again believers. Those who possess other gifts are in love and concern trying to explain about 'lawlessness' attitude violating the written and given New Covenant order.
Those who think that they have read someone else's profile, they can make a
judgement on that person to be young and fresh and them 'self' alone and their supporters are
entirely right, and as it is written about them, that them 'self' are ignorant judges, who judge by appearances of a person's written or physical profile and not by what Scripturally is testified about true righteousness and correction that has been quoted right for build up Good character either in men or women.
First of all to those lambs and sheep of GOD who are witnessing 'recklessness', may consider this as well whether such person's justification without Scriptural backup is to be proven true or false 'self' claims of innocent;
Firstly justification Scripturally about truly who is fresh and who is matured that does justify seniority over the others and over ruling their testimonies, that the LORD JESUS CHRIST has placed in them too, in order to labor, in service to one another's building up?
So fair enough, in order to justify according to the truth of New Covenant, The disciples were with JESUS for only roughly
three years and JESUS said that after HIM, 'they would do greater things that HE has done'. They were then on their own, able to minister to a multitude and establish churches and bringing them all to one order of the New Covenant.
Then, Apostle Paul, after three days of fasting and upon anointing, suddenly receive the revelation and teachings of the New Covenant and immediately ministered onto the saints for justification and also to a multitude and further therefore establishing churches with his faithful followers.
For those who
think and in their opinion based, testify that they 'have been there and have done it', only testify to witnesses that they are bunch of proud braggers, holding on to their given gift/talent and using them as an advantage in their defense, to ignore 'lawlessness'. And this is written about such people who do not teach and learn themselves, in order to forget and forsake their 'self' righteousness, that over the years and continuing in;
"Ever learning but never come to the knowledge of the truth."
When the 'knowledge of the truth' teaches 'women to be silent in church', means that there were during Apostle Paul's time two or many sisters like these who were dissatisfactionly vocal regarding the New Scripture Teachings of our LORD JESUS CHRIST. And there were also other innocent women who were obediently silent and 'listening and paying attention' to them.
Do anyone see the same pattern happening here, that in their desperate vocal defense, upon the LORD's correction, they tend to include other innocent, obedient and submissive to the LORD's words daughters in. JESUS even in the Gospel, has proclaimed in Prophecy, about HIS end time 'lawlessness/iniquity' worker's rejection, those who claim to have labored in HIS name for HIM, by saying to them;
"I never knew you."
In the Old Testament, please read about the attitude and character of Prophetess Deborah, when she was given a Prophecy to address to Israel. Please take note how she approached the leaders and in what manner, recognizing them and explaining to them. The Leaders were humbled by her character and allowed her, giving her permission to address to the people herself and what a beautiful site of GOD'S Words of Biblical faithful women to HIM femininity.
Even Mother Sarah, written in the epistle of Apostle Peter, that one who is faithful to GOD and men, possessing a 'gentle' and 'quiet' spirit and even address her husband Abraham, as 'Lord'. When there were three men invited by Abraham to dine before their journey, Sarah was behind Abraham. Did GOD inspired these all there for born again believer men to change and become homosexual or for women to change into Biblical femininity.
Sadly, looks like neither of these want to change, in order to prove their repentance and love for their GOD with all their heart, all their soul, all their spirit and all their mind, therefore fulfilling the first Commandment of JESUS?
Will these two sisters, who storm in this Forum and continuing, like the two Tornado, the Catherina twin sisters that devastated America previously, able to repent and learn from the LORD through HIS unworthy servants, to respond or reacted in future like in the faith of Biblical women towards men and the Living GOD?
As it is written to men and women, who are equally co-heirs, even to HIS 'Every Word', to be obedient and be submissive to HIS written and given order for the church to be built up, that;
"Thou shall not tempt the LORD thy GOD."
