I have met Powwem irl and we went to church together, I would love to meet Psychomom, Jesuslives and tourist Blue lady bug too. However not only would the traveling distance be an issue but my paranoid mom would flip out if I intended to meet someone online she sure did when Powemm and I hung out

My family is finally getting used to me meeting "on-line people". My sister, upon hearing that I planned to meet some more new friends this summer, expressed her wonder at how things like this even work. She thought a minute and then said "But I guess you're used to this sort of thing." She's right. I've been a part of on-line groups for 15 years, and have made many wonderful friends who I've gone on to meet in person, hosted in my own home, or have met in other locations for joint-vacations, and stayed in contact with over the years.

I just had a conversation with my sister about this type of thing the other day. I've only ever met two people that I met online, but one of them knew my sister already and got my MSN address from her (this was like high school years for me haha) so that didn't really count. But she was just sketched out by the idea of people spending tons of time online and not being who they say they are...things like that. I tried to convince her that there are a lot of really good people out there that I have met (you guys make up a lot of that bunch), but she wasn't convinced :D I really hope I get to meet some or even most of you all someday!

I met one person from here in real life.

There was a mix of yellcrying ''I LOVE YOOOOOOU'' Kite's, trash, a pink umbrella and then just lot's of crying (and neither from me)

So yeah... that will never happen again.

no one has ever seen her and Batgirl in the same room... I think that Batgirl may be her alter identity when she is not busy being a superheroine (not a drug reference, people... move along.)

I've never met anyone, never really had plans to, either.

I think it'd take something special for me to meet someone from here. I'm quite shy and quiet in real life, mainly in big groups, so you guys would probably think, "Uh, is that really Rachel or an awkwardly quiet imposter?" :p

Then there's the "fear" of someone knowing all my sides. In real life, but especially on CC since I bear my soul on here often because I feel it's a safe place to do so, but if I actually met people who knew those things about me before I had even actually met them...I'd feel exposed, in a sense.

I'm weird.

One time it almost happened. Stupid weather ruined it.

I'll make it happen the next time I go on vacation methinks. Whenever that is going to be.

If I ever get there would like to meet ya......I never know how far from home that I might roam....and if you ever get to the states there is a second bedroom with a bath waiting for your use. Yes, that is an invitation that tourist agrees with.

I know Shouryu, Aimee and a few others had a get together last year. Tintin and his lady did as well. Just wondering who else has gotten together in real life, or seen CCers face to face? Friends or otherwise. Any CCers that you might like to visit?

Lets see if I can name all the Ccers I've met in person...

Philusion
Seraph_Aximilli
Mercyswolf
Babygirl01
Perdonato/KimberlyQ
Cata
Eliseee
Tayho_Robbin
OnceFallen (3 times)
Justme33
Tandemtruths
Iris2004
Mrdll
Gary
NicLaughter (who is now returned with a Name that starts with an A that I can't think of)
ChristianCollegeGirl
PolarguyinAK

MissCris (Though, I didn't really meet her through CC, we're cousins and I introduced her to CC)

Oh flubber buckets. I know there has got to be more but I can't think of them at the moment.

I've been a member for 15 years, and I met my first CCer in person in 2005 and it's been random from there. The most I've met at once is 6. Several of the ones I have listed on here are not members any longer.

Oh, That also makes me think, The only other CC person I know for sure who has likely met more than me is PolarGuyinAK. He spent a few years where he traveled a LOT while working for an airline and he got very lucky in meeting a lot of people.
