Romans 11:19-22
Then you will say, “Branches were broken off so that I might be grafted in.” That is true. They were broken off because of their unbelief, but you stand fast through faith. So do not become proud, but fear. For if God did not spare the natural branches, neither will he spare you. Note then the kindness and the severity of God: severity toward those who have fallen, but God's kindness to you, provided you continue in his kindness. Otherwise you too will be cut off.
The branches that were broken off were the Jews for failing to believe in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. We the gentiles were now grafted in for our belief in Jesus. The Jews fell away do to unbelief, and now unless they come to accept Jesus Christ too they will continue to be cut off from salvation. That severity falls on us as well, if we chose to not believe in Jesus as our Lord and Savior, or turn from following Him then we to will be cut off.
The temple will be rebuilt as Revelation shows in chapter 11, and how the two witnesses will stand out in front of it and prophesy. The Jews will return to animal sacrifices and other old traditions, that the antichrist will then put an end to as other scriptures mention. And then he will stand in a rebuilt temple dedicated to God, and claim to be god himself.
