Let's try this again for the spiritual kiddies :)

From the lessons below, we can see that the term "thousand" is confirmed three times as "an indeterminate length of time". If anyone disagrees, please give it a second thought :)

(2Pe 3:8)
But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is
with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

(Psa 90:4)
For a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night.

(Deu 7:9)
Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;

(1Ch 16:15)
Be ye mindful always of his covenant; the word which he commanded to a thousand generations;

(Psa 105:8)
He hath remembered his covenant for ever, the word which he commanded to a thousand generations.

By the way, a "generation" is typically considered to be 40 years. If we were to go all DIAGLOT over it, we'd end up with 40,000 years! Where does THAT fit into the futurist's calendar? Never heard that one yet hehe.

Once we know this, now we are armed with a think called "knowledge", by which we can let God interpret the N.T. for us.
This way we can know for sure, and there isn't nearly as much lint pulled out of the belly buttons :)

I am not making a prophecy.

I am just speaking of the things the bible says has to take place.
Even Jesus said there would be signs that we will see to usher in the last days, and He told us what those signs would be.

All you have to do is look at what the Lord said in the gospel like in Matthew 24, take also Revelations, Daniel, Ezekiel, Isaiah, and the other OT prophets said to get an understanding. And if you believe all the prophecies in the bible have already been fulfilled then you have not looked into them fully yet.

And as I have stated before when some one gives a prophecy, they state something is going to happen as absolute.
I have not done that, I have only stated what the bible says will take place. Not what I say will take place.
This is all a private futuristic "prophecy" that you are telling everyone here.

here it is...

We all face personal tribulations in our lives, death of love ones, financial hardships, being downgraded, and so on......
But this is not the tribulation period the bible speaks of in the last days, where the antichrist will rise to power, the temple rebuilt, and the final two battles to take place.
Along with the severe rise in pestilence, hunger, and death that will come to an all time high as never before.
Plus the 200 million man army the antichrist will control which has never happened before.

There is still a lot to happen before the 1,000 year reign can take place, and then only after these things and our Lords reign does the new heaven and new earth are formed, and then the new Jerusalem comes down on to earth.

None of this came from the Bible. None of it. It came from you.

If you want that on your record, you might want to be pretty sure about it. Because not one whit of that is the Gospel of Jesus Christ that we read about in the New Testament my friend.

You are confusing Hebrew words with Greek words and saying that they all mean something different than people much smarter than both of us say they mean.

God did not obligate Himself to choose fleshly Israel, God can choose/show mercy unto whosoever He will - as Paul says in Rom 9.

Salvation went to the Jews first, but they overwhelming rejected it so Paul turned to the Gentiles, Acts 13:46.
God did obligate to whomsoever He will...and He did, He obligated Himself to Israel.

The Roman army (AD 70) providentially destroyed all ancestral documents making it impossible for anyone today to trace their ancestry back to one of the 12 tribes. Many people today claim to be a Jew but cannot prove it. Can you prove that any Hitler murdered was a Jew? Can you trace their ancestry back to one of the 12 tribes?
That is pretty sick. Essentially denies the Holocaust. Why don't you go to the Middle East and tell that to Hamas? They may even give you a Nobel Peace Prize for that theory.

What is this thread still doing here? I'd thought it would have migrated itself to Germany or Iran by now. So much for artificial intelligence, perhaps any sort of intelligence. Well, I'll let you who've replaced Israel get back to discussing the final solution.

Me thinks you overlooked this...

Luk 1:32 He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:

Spiritual throne not an earthly throne. Lk 1:32 does not contradict bible prophecy.

Lk 1:33 "And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end."

If Premil is right, does this mean Jesus' earthly kingdom will never end, the earth will forever exist and not burn up as Peter said 2 Pet 3:10?

Yet Christ has a spiritual kingdom, the church, which He now rules over from His heavenly throne and there shall be no end to this church of Christ.

Hosea 3:5 "
Afterward shall the children of Israel return, and seek the LORD their God, and David their king; and shall fear the LORD and his goodness in the latter days."

This does not mean they will find David himself literally on the throne in the latter days. The latter days has to do with the Christian dispensation with Christ sitting on his spiritual throne of David in heaven ruling over His church.

Ever notice that the only folks who have a problem with "spiritualizing" something are only those who are blind to what the spirit is revealing right in front of them? The New Testament IS the Spirtual Fulfillment of the Natural Old Testament.

Try to keep this in mind;

(1Co 15:46)
Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.

This principal will NEVER change, which in itself knocks the stuffing out of anything you've ever opined quite frankly.

EVERYONE HELLO IMPORTANT DEMONSTRATION...

Here's how you study to find out what O.T. prophecies mean. You go to the place in the N.T. that talks about it! DOH! Let's try it!

Ok, ALL of Zecharia is about Salvation to Israel, right?

So BOOM!
(Luk 1:54)
He hath holpen his servant Israel, in remembrance of his mercy;

(Luk 1:55)
As he spake to our fathers, to Abraham, and to his seed for ever.

See? Ya can't argue with that haHaaAA! When Jesus came He fulfilled the Covenant of Abraham and His Seed.

You can stand on this and satan can never take it from you friends :) It is a Rock of Salvation knowing this. Israel is Saved.

Now, let's look at some of these verses that also demonstrate Zecharia those verses;

Zechariah 14:3-4
3 Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.
4 And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south
5 And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains: for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the day of Uzziah king of Judah: and the Lord my God shall come, and all the saints with thee

(Joh 16:33)
These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
(1Jn 5:4)
For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.

(Rev 19:11)
And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
(Rev 19:12)
His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.
(Rev 19:13)
And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.
(Rev 19:14)
And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
(Rev 19:15)
And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
(Rev 19:16)
And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.

(Mat 21:1)
And when they drew nigh unto Jerusalem, and were come to Bethphage, unto the mount of Olives, then sent Jesus two disciples,

(Mar 11:1)
And when they came nigh to Jerusalem, unto Bethphage and Bethany, at the mount of Olives, he sendeth forth two of his disciples,

(Act 1:9)
And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.

(Act 1:12)
Then returned they unto Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is from Jerusalem a sabbath day's journey.

(Luk 21:27)
And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.

(Act 1:8)
But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

(Mat 25:31)
When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:

(Eph 2:6)
And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

(1Th 3:13)
To the end he may stablish your hearts unblameable in holiness before God, even our Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all his saints.

(Jud 1:14)
And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,

(1Co 14:33)
For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.
Simply your own theory. Why did all the OT have literal fulfillment and now all of a sudden things go Gnostic? Well no wonder, there were even Jews who turned in their own under the Third Reich.
Oh wait, according to SeaBass how do you even know you are a Jew after the flesh?

I'll share here a testimony from a brother in Christ who had a near death experience (clinical death).
Maybe then others will understand why I'm coming from where I'm coming from...
He was an unbeliever until he almost died, and he had this experience when He saw Jesus, who told him to repent, showed him hell and torment in it, and said that He was coming back quickly. The way he describes it is the following: Jesus was so close... at the door... about to grip the knob and enter! He was amazed how close He was.
He repented and is now preaching the Gospel on the streets of Moscow.
I know in my spirit that he told the truth, and I cant help it.
In the Old testament people also fooled themselves likewise, thinking the LORD is slow.
He is coming back all of sudden, as a thief.
All these teachings have one thing in common, that it is not there yet, we tend to read and think, oh this must happen first, that must happen first, and we get confounded by teachings. While "to depart from evil is understanding".
[h=2]1 Peter 4:7-11 "The end of all things is near..."[/h] That's just my personal conviction, but I hope it explains where I'm coming from and why I dont believe in literal 1000 years. I'll keep studying however.

For those who like knowledge, below is a copy of the original transcript of Margaret McDonald, from which came the entire NEW TEACHING in to the churches now known as "dispensationalism".

Never prior to this time in any of Christianity, was there ever any such futuristic doctrines taught.
The doctrines associated with it, such as "tribulation/rapture/armegeddon/1000 years" are only parroting a young clueless woman who had an outburst at a Bible class in Glasgow Scotland in 1830. Read.

[This is Margaret Macdonald's handwritten account of her 1830 Pre-Trib revelation, as included in Robert Norton's Memoirs of James & George Macdonald of Port-Glasgow (1840), pp. 171-176. The italicized portions represent her account as it appears in shorter form in Norton's The Restoration of Apostles and Prophets; In the Catholic Apostolic Church (1861), pp 15-18.]
"It was first the awful state of the land that was pressed upon me.(1) I saw the blindness and infatuation of the people to be very great. I felt the cry of Liberty just to be the hiss of the serpent, to drown them in perdition. It was just `no God.' I repeated the words, Now there is distress of nations, with perplexity, the seas and the waves roaring, men's hearts failing them for fear - now look out for the sign of the Son of man. Here I was made to stop and cry out, 0 it is not known what the sign of the Son of man is; the people of God think they are waiting, but they know not what it is. I felt this needed to be revealed, and that there was great darkness and error about it; but suddenly what it was burst upon me with a glorious light I saw it was just the Lord himself descending from Heaven with a shout, just the glorified man. even Jesus; but that all must, as Stephen was, be filled with the Holy Ghost, that they might look up, and see the brightness of the Father's glory. I saw the error to be, that men think that it will be something seen by the natural eye; but 'tis spiritual discernment that is needed, the eye of God in his people. Many passages were revealed, in a light in which I had not before seen them. I repeated, `Now is the kingdom of Heaven like unto ten virgins, who went forth to meet the Bridegroom, five wise and five foolish; they that were foolish took their lamps, but took no oil with them; but they that were wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.' 'But be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is; and be not drunk with wine wherein is excess, but be filled with the Spirit.' This was the oil the wise virgins took in their vessels - this is the light to be kept burning - the light of God - that we may discern that which cometh not with observation to the natural eye. Only those who have the light of God within them will see the sign of his appearance. No need to follow them who say, see here, or see there, for his day shall be as the lightning to those in whom the living Christ is. 'Tis Christ in us that will lift us up - he is the light - 'tis only those that are alive in him that will be caught up to meet him in the air. I saw that we must be in the Spirit, that we might see spiritual things. John was in the Spirit, when he saw a throne set in Heaven. - But I saw that the glory of the ministration of the Spirit had not been known. I repeated frequently, but the spiritual temple must and shall be reared, and the fullness of Christ be poured into his body, and then shall we be caught up to meet him. Oh none will be counted worthy of this calling but his body, which is the church, and which must be a candlestick all of gold. I often said, Oh the glorious inbreaking of God which is now about to burst on this earth; Oh the glorious temple which is now about to be reared, the bride adorned for her husband; and Oh what a holy, holy bride she must be, to be prepared for such a glorious bridegroom. I said, Now shall the people of God have to do with realities - now shall the glorious mystery of God in our nature be known - now shall it be known what it is for man to be glorified. I felt that the revelation of Jesus Christ had yet to be opened up - it is not knowledge about God that it contains, but it is an entering into God - I saw that there was a glorious breaking in of God to be. I feIt as Elijah surrounded with chariots of fire. I saw as it were, the spiritual temple reared, and the Head Stone brought forth with shoutings of grace, grace, unto it. It was a glorious light above the brightness of the sun, that shone round about me. I felt that those who were filled with the spirit could see spiritual things, and feel walking in the midst of them, while those who had not the Spirit could see nothing - so that two shall be in one bed, the one taken and the other left, because the one has the light of God within while the other cannot see the Kingdom of Heaven. I saw the people of God in an awfully dangerous situation, surrounded by nets and entanglements, about to be tried, and many about to be deceived and fall. Now will THE WICKED be revealed, with all power and signs and lying wonders, so that if it were possible the very elect will be deceived. - This is the fiery trial which is to try us. - It will be for the purging and purifying of the real members of the body of Jesus; but Oh it will be a fiery trial. Every soul will be shaken to the very centre. The enemy will try to shake in every thing we have believed - But the trial of real faith will be found to honour and praise and glory. Nothing but what is of God will stand. The stony-ground hearers will be made manifest - the love of many will wax cold I frequently said that night, and often since, now shall the awful sight of a false Christ be seen on this earth. and nothing but the living Christ in us can detect this awful attempt of the enemy to deceive - or it is with all deceivableness of unrighteousness he will work - he will have a counterpart for every part of God's truth and an imitation for every work of the Spirit. The Spirit must and will be poured out on the church, that she may be purified and filled with God - and just in proportion as the Spirit of God works, so will he when our Lord anoints men with power, so will he. This is particularly the nature of the trial, through which those are to pass who will be counted worthy to stand before the Son of man. There will be outward trial too, but `tis principally temptation. It is brought on by the outpouring of the Spirit, and will just increase in proportion as the Spirit is poured out. The trial of the Church is from Antichrist. It is by being filled with the Spirit that we shall be kept. I frequently said, Oh be filled with the Spirit - have the light of God in you, that you may detect Satan - be full of eyes within - be clay in the hands of the potter - submit to be filled, filled with God This will build the temple. It is not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit saith the Lord. This will fit us to enter into the marriage supper of the lamb. I saw It to be the will of God that all should be filled. But what hindered the real life of God from being received by his people, was their turning from Jesus. who is the way to the Father. They were not entering in by the door. For he is faithful who hath said, by me if any man enter in he shall find pasture. They were passing the cross, through which every drop of the Spirit of God flows to us. All power that comes not through the blood of Christ is not of God. When I say, they are looking from the cross, I feel that there is much in it - they turn from the blood of the Lamb, by which we overcome, and in which our robes are washed and made white. There are low views of God's holiness, and ceasing to condemn sin in the flesh, and a looking from him who humbled himself, and made himself of no reputation. Oh! it is needed, much needed at present, a leading back to the cross, I saw that night, and often since, that there will be an outpouring of the Spirit on the body, such as has not been, a baptism of fire, that all the dross may be put away. Oh there must and will be such an indwelling of the living God as has not been - the servants of God sealed in their foreheads - great conformity to Jesus - his holy holy image seen in his people just the bride made comely, by his comeliness put upon her. This is what we are at present made to pray much for, that speedily we may all be made ready to meet our Lord in the air - and it will be. Jesus wants his bride. His desire is toward us. He that shall come, will come, and will not tarry. Amen and Amen. Even so come Lord Jesus."

It's the most monstrous thing I've seen anybody post here, nothing holy about the spirit that came from, but there was simmering Antisemitism and denial of God's clear Bible plan, laced in everything up to that. Maybe we need a thread about the parable of the tares among the wheat?

Frankly, I do not put my trust in Adam Clarke when he directly contradicts Jesus Christ...

Mat 13:11 He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.

Christ says that it is NOT GIVEN to them to understand, not that they choose not to.

No Paul is saying that there is a day of salvation for those called now...

Joh 6:44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.

Prior to Christ's life on earth, they could not come to Him. Those who lived two thousand years before Christ could not come to someone they never heard of (Acts 4:12).

There is a day of salvation now for those God is calling. There is a day of salvation in the future for those who have lived their lives and died without being called.

How many people did the Father call to Christ four thousand years ago in China?
Again, they did not understand for they would not believe, they did not understand for they closed their own eyes and ears.
And Paul is not saying there is one specific day but a period of time, the gospel dispensation.

10And confirmed the same unto Jacob for a law, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant:
