I'm just trying to figure out if I should continue to grow my hair out or cut it.

I'm just choosing long straight hair since that's what I like on myself. Besides, it'll make it easier to see the results.

Depends on the guy. Some look like crap and some look hot.

Re: Girls do you guys with long hair?

DHZ, look at 1 Corinthians 11:14.

Re: Girls do you guys with long hair?

I'm pretty sure it's talking about when a guy's hair is longer than a girls. I'm only planning on letting grow out to my shoulders, not down to my butt or something like that.

Re: Girls do you guys with long hair?

the whole hippie mentality i mean....ehhhh

Re: Girls do you guys with long hair?

I like girls to have long hair and glasses.
I think you should get contact lenses even if you don't need them.

Re: Girls do you guys with long hair?

I agree with Tryingtofindhim, it totally depends on the guy... and some guys look good with either or. But, personally, I would suggest wearing your hair however you feel most comfortable with it. I once heard a pastor say that the the significance of the Bible's direction about hair length for men and women is more about character--taking on your responsibility as a man or woman--than about the specific length of one's hair, so... if you like your hair long and it's not keeping you back in any way (for example, stopping you from getting a job in your field of interest), why not just go for what you like?

I personally wouldn't want a guy to try to dictate how I should wear my hair (unless it was truly constructive criticism)--it's happened in the past, and never went well! I would just to back to wearing my hair the way I felt comfortable with.

Re: Girls do you guys with long hair?

i agree with sharp

i dont think it is biblical to have long hair on a male imo.

... :D ...

Re: Girls do you guys with long hair?

i like short hair on guys cuz i think it just looks better and less scrappy ...i guess

Re: Girls do you guys with long hair?

Yeah, I just had to say, with all the debate on whether or not it's Biblical for a man to have long hair or not...

Have you EVER seen Jesus in a picture with a buzz cut? Just something to think about... Sure, we don't actually know what Jesus looked like, but I find it interesting that whether it's in churches, greeting cards, or children's Bibles... Jesus is always depicted with long (at least shoulder-length) hair...

If any of you out there have seen pictures of Jesus with short hair (maybe a Beatle's cut? BUT, at the time, their hair was considered "long" too) or completely shaven... please mail me... I'd be interested in seeing the pics!

I can see myself at heaven's gates... "Um, excuse me... I just came to check out whether or not Jesus has long hair..."

I really doubt that Jesus had long hair!

I think there is a thread about this in the bible discussion forum...

What reason is there to believe that Jesus looked any different from the people in the part of the world he was around the time he was there?

I think pictures of Jesus with long hair are prevalent for two reasons:

1. To feminise Jesus and make him appeal to women.
2. To make Jesus look weak and therefore making it easier to attack christianity.

Jesus was a carpenter. I reckon he was muscly and rugged.
