The land promise is eternal, but it is also conditional based on their faithfulness.

Examples of this would be that Moses when instructed to get the Jews out of Egypt was promised the holy land to, but do to disobeying the Lord when the Lord told Moses to speak to the rock, and Moses struck it instead. Moses was not allowed by the Lord to set foot in the holy land.

Same with Solomon, he already was in the kingdom ( holy land ) and even built the temple, but do to defying the Lord our God and following after pagan wives and customs. The Lord took the kingdom away from him.

The Jews continued to disobey, and when our Lord came in the flesh they denied Him. So the Lord our God gave inheritance to us gentiles as well to spread the good news because they rejected it. The Jews now are not saved unless they accept Jesus as their Messiah.
Well said. It is all about Faith, and "if" they remained faithful. We see those faithful, we know them, they follow Jesus in the Gospel :)

Let's look at two instances to show the Jews are still His chosen elect.

The first I have mentioned before, 144,000 that stand by His side at His return are from the twelve Jewish tribes.

The second is Jesus tells the Apostles that are with Him they will sit on thrones beside Him and judge the rest of the Jews.

Matthew 19:28
And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

He was never told he would recieve it, Just that he would die an old age, and the fulfillment of his promise would be AFTER the 4th generation.
Yes he was told He would receive the Land. And he knew it was a "Heavenly Country", not this plot of worthless war torn real estate dunghill that I live in. I'll post God's answer to you again
(Heb 11:13)
These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them and greeted them from afar, and having confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.
(Heb 11:14)
For they that say such things make it manifest that they are seeking after a country of their own.
(Heb 11:15)
And if indeed they had been mindful of that country from which they went out, they would have had opportunity to return.
(Heb 11:16)
But now they desire a better country, that is, a heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed of them, to be called their God; for he hath prepared for them a city.

And look at my signature again, for a picture of that "City".

Peter is explaining to the Jews that Judah and the Gentiles in Christ fulfill prophecy, this is a Word for Word quote fulfilling Amos 9:11;
(Amo 9:11)
In that day will I raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen, and close up the breaches thereof; and I will raise up its ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old;
James 'main point is clear:James is saying that Gentile salvation apart from the Law does not contradict the Old Testament prophets. That's all the context allows for.

Yes, eternally-grateful insists that. It is obvious what we are dealing with here.

And he also said this in post #605...

"it is not a gospel thing, it is a national thing."

And all THESE people "liked" his comments;

"it is not a gospel thing"

and

"Jesus is not ruling"

Quoted. Admitted. By eternally-grateful and those who agree with him.

This is what we are dealing with Here dear Children of Israel. Everyone please Pray for their souls. This is the saddest thing I've ever seen.

Nah, You can pray for your soul. Our souls are heaven bound, because in faith we have recieved our savior.

But you. You still need to answer why this is salvic.

Gen 15: [SUP]8 [/SUP]Also I give to you and your descendants after you the land in which you are a stranger, all the land of Canaan, as an everlasting possession; and I will be their God.”

or would you rather be like your catholic cousin in the "who is this woman" thread. And refuse to answer direct questions, and instead just spew alot of hate and false things?

It is in your book now. Show all of us who you call lost souls, where anyone was ever saved by that promise made By God to a nation of people.

What part of the gospel is this speaking of. And what heavenly land is this.

Do not need Bride or anyone else to pray for my soul.Thanks just the same.We disagree on replacement teaching.One side believes the church has replaced Israel and the other believes Israel and the Jews are still Gods chosen people.Both sides have Scriptures to back up their opinions.So lets the Lord sort it out instead of condemning people and making a mockery of people we disagree with shall we? Whether you believe the Jews are Gods chosen or not you'd at the very least have to admit that His hand is upon them.They are surrounded by enemies on all sides yet they still stand.They took a desolate desert and made a thriving country. Inspite of persecution and antisemitism from every country they still stand.At the last you'd have to say that's amazing.
Are you aware that the word church as it is translated is NOT in the Greek text? The apostles NEVER had the concept of a body that REPLACED believing Israel. You can't find it in scripture. All scripture states is that UNBELIEVING Israel was cut off with the Gentiles being grafted in with believing Israel. And the Gentiles are JOINT HEIRS with believing Israel. And as JOINT heirs ALL BELIEVERS will receive the same promises through Christ.

Your assumptions, not mine. I realize that sometimes a normal reading of the text does not allow for a normal literal interpretation but in this case a literal interpretation fits well with the text. Do you have a response to the Zechariah passage I quoted? I'm listening.
I do,but it will take a bit of time for me to get to it again.

so where does God tell Abram he himself would live in the land

Unto thy seed will I give this land

God promised his seed become a great nation

give verse please

(Gen 13:17)

Arise, walk through the land in the length of it and in the breadth of it; for unto thee will I give it.

(Luk 1:54)
He hath holpen his servant Israel, in remembrance of his mercy;

(Luk 1:55)
As he spake to our fathers, to Abraham, and to his seed for ever.

so where does it say God lied to Abram ?

1Now the Lord had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country,
and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee:

2And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee,
and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:

7
And the Lord appeared unto Abram, and said,
(Unto thy seed will I give this land)
and there builded he an altar unto the
Lord, who appeared unto him.

9By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country,
dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise:
No one from God would ever say God lied.

For here is how He fulfilled His oath and Promise;

(Heb 6:17)
Wherein God, willing more abundantly to shew unto the heirs of promise the immutability of his counsel, confirmed it by an oath:
(Heb 6:18)
That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:
(Heb 6:19)
Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil;

The promises of God fulfilled, are only to those who Live within Him who is Entered already through the Veil and now Dwell in the Most Holy Place in Christ. That is the "Land" Abraham died in hope for.

(Tit 3:5)
Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

I've provided you God's answer many times. You're final reply was enough for me...
You straight out admitted that your idea has nothing to do with the Gospel, and that Jesus isn't reigning as King, what have I to do with you?

(Gal 1:6)
I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:
(Gal 1:7)
Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.
(Gal 1:8)
But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
(Gal 1:9)
As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

When you want to speak of the things of God, and then say you aren't interested in the part about Jesus reigning as King, and you don't want to talk about the Gospel, but some freak side show physical thing you are hung up on because you don't know scriptures, it becomes pointless to cast pearls before swine. Goodbye

No disrespect, but you are changing what it says (underlined above). Besides, Dan is not in the list and Manasseh (adopted) is. Take the time to study how the identity of Israel has changed since Abraham. It helps clear up who Israel is today.

What this scripture is saying is that when the time comes for all of us to stand before the judgment seat.
Those who are Jews will be judged by the original twelve Apostles minus Judas, as we know by scripture he will not be in heaven. They were given the special right to sit on thrones and judge the rest of the Jews, as for gentiles though we have but one judge. The Lord Jesus Christ.

No gentiles are given any special thrones to sit on to judge other gentiles.

I am not changing anything.
The twelve tribes of Israel are Jews. No gentiles make up the twelve tribes, so this is not changing things.
The falsehood would be thinking that gentiles will be apart of the 144,000 and the right to judge also taking away the chosen elect of the Jews as God's people.

The Jews have not been replaced by others in this instance, so the twelve tribes of Israel and the twelve Jewish tribes are one in the same.

Because one passage 'agrees' with the other does not necessarily means it fulfills it.

And to this agree the words of the prophets; as it is written, After this I will return, and will build again the tabernacle of David, which is fallen down; and I will build again the ruins thereof, and I will set it up: That the residue of men might seek after the Lord, and all the Gentiles, upon whom my name is called, saith the Lord, who doeth all these things.
(Act 15:15-17)
