Wow. You should write your own Bible with that kind of imagination. Make up something, then say something else holds true because of it lOOOOLLL!
Jesus was physical, "flesh and bone", when he was in his resurrected body.

Luke 24:36-39 And as they thus spake, Jesus himself stood in the midst of them and saith unto them, Peace be unto you. But they were terrified and affrighted, and supposed that they had seen a spirit. And he said unto them, Why are ye troubled? and why do thoughts arise in your hearts? Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, an see; or a spirit hath not flesh and bones as ye see me have. . . .41,42) And while thy yet believed not for joy, and wondered, he said unto them, Have ye here any meat? And they gave him a piece of a broiled fish, and of an honeycomb.

He also appeared in a different form unto two of the disciples: After that he appeared in another form unto two of the, as they walked, and went into the country. Mark 16:12

Since he did all of a sudden appear in the midst of them and could change his form - his physical body was somewhat different than ours!

UMM Where in Romans 11 that ALL of Israel was cut off? This what Romans 11 actually says

But if
zsome of the branches were broken off, and you, aalthough a wild olive shoot, were grafted in among the others and now share in the nourishing root3 of the olive tree, 18 do not be arrogant toward the branches. If you are, remember it is not you who support the root, but the root that supports you. 19 Then you will say, “Branches were broken off so that I might be grafted in.” 20 That is true. They were broken off because of their unbelief, but you bstand fast through faith. So cdo not become proud, but dfear. 21 For if God did not spare the natural branches, neither will he spare you. 22 Note then the kindness and the severity of God: severity toward those who have fallen, but God's kindness to you, eprovided you continue in his kindness. Otherwise fyou too will be cut off. 23 And geven they, if they do not continue in their unbelief, will be grafted in, for God has the power to graft them in again. 24 For if you were cut from what is by nature a wild olive tree, and grafted, contrary to nature, into a cultivated olive tree, how much more will these, the natural branches, be grafted back into their own olive tree.

If Israel was cut off as a whole what does that do with the EARLIEST believers whom were OF ISRAEL? It says very plainly SOME of the natural branches off and if you understand anything at all about grafting a branch into tree, that branch becomes PART of the whole and NOT a separate entity. The disciples NEVER STOPPED being of believing Israel. What was cut off from the tree was UNBELIEVING Israel.
Wisdom! Of course haHAAaa!!, oh I just love meeting new sisters and brothers helloooo Sarah *wave*

... humbles me...
... HE has truly answered my prayers when I sought for HIS wisdom and discernment regarding all things,...
...against the deceived, the blinded, and the false teachers, who twist Scripture in the hardness of their hearts and their vain imaginings...
...blinded by their biases...hearts hardened by hardships and trials...
...My brethren, I hope and pray that our Holy Father GOD continue to bless all of you with HIS gifts of wisdom, faith, discernment, knowledge, and a heart of purity and love, that you may press on to defend HIS Word against the blinded and the false teachers...
Wow what an ugly post, aside the Scriptures you only posted to make this blackness from hell sound valid. So puffed up, hypocritical and condemnational. Jesus purchased me and everyone else here just like He did you.
Psalms 50:20 Thou sittest and speakest against thy brother; thou slanderest thine own mother's son.
I at least dont claim that I had it all figured out. While the thread was flesh-provoking to us all, I apologized wherever I stumbled and also allowed the possibility that others were correct. I did say I might be wrong during the discussion. We are all learning.
Who knows how it will exactly come to pass? None but God. And does it matter? NO! We all read the prophecy in order to recognize it when it comes, thats the purpose of it. I dont even CARE if I'm right or wrong on these issues, it is not a salvic matter. I am far more upset by how people here treat one another, call names, demean, accuse.

A question: Has anyone posted Zechariah 14 as yet. I can't be online long enough to read the whole of 34 pages.

I have a question about that one chpt. Has it been fulfilled yet and if so, could someone tell me when?

Good night, Saints.

I posted a section from it...went unanswered early on. ..

Zechariah 14:2-4
2 For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.
3 Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.
4 And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.

Not yet fulfilled.

What would be the point for someone to do so,when you have already stated that you will only accept a 100% literal fulfillment of that passage? Would you even read it or listen to it if it was laid out in the first place? You have already made it known to me that you would not. If you will not, there is NO POINT for any one to do so. If you have already reached the point that your heart and mind is NOT RECEPTIVE to those things what point is there for anyone to even begin to try to go through it with you?

How can it be spiritual isreal.

look at the covenant.

In you shall all the world be blessed (this includes many saved people from all nations.)

He said that the land would not be possessed for 400 years because the sin of the people had not yet been complete (the people in the land were saved at the time, yet God did not promise it to them)

He said abraham would be the father of many nations, Many were saved and believed God, but the promise was not to them.

Yet the land was not promised to any of these spiritua children of abraham. Only to one of his descendents, and then again, Only one of his sons (jacob) that was all.

Then think of lev 26. Where he gave them conditions for living in the land, and conditions for getting kicked out of the land, then conditions for being returned to the land.

with all of this. how can it be anything but a physical promise. To much goes against that interpretation.

Sorry for thining you were a preterist. If you are not your the first one I met who did not believe in the land promise.
Then can you explain how it is that God DID NOT LIE to Abraham when scripture is so clear that Abraham,Issac,Jacob, the Nation of Israel when they were in Egypt and the wilderness NEVER RECEIVED one square foot of land? (Acts 7 and Hebrews both do state that Abraham NEVER received the land) How is it possible that God did NOT LIE to Abraham?

Or did Abraham,Issac and Jacob understand what it represented? Did they understand that the land promise is a TYPE AND SHADOW and a picture of something beyond that track of land in the Middle East?

Hebrews 11

[SUP]13 [/SUP]All these people were still living by faith when they died. They did not receive the things promised; they only saw them and welcomed them from a distance, admitting that they were foreigners and strangers on earth. [SUP]14 [/SUP]People who say such things show that they are looking for a country of their own. [SUP]15 [/SUP]If they had been thinking of the country they had left, they would have had opportunity to return. [SUP]16[/SUP]Instead, they were longing for a better country—a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared a city for them.

If they were ONLY looking for the material blessing of the land of Canaan, why then does scripture plainly say they were
foreigners and strangers on earth IF the land of Canaan was to be an ETERNAL PROMISE of them being in that land? Why were they looking for a heavenly country? Can you please explain how all that is possible?

The Jewish nation will NOT inherit the earth. The Church of Jesus Christ will inherit the earth. The Church is all the believers of Jesus Christ from all times and all nations, will inherit the earth and Heaven. Love to all, Hoffco

your right they wont. Jesus will inherit the earth. The Jewish nation will inherit their land, and the gentile nations will cherish the blessings they will receive as the whole world worships and praises God.

Ask yourself this.

Are people like hitler, stalin, Sadaam Huesein, and the many many other leaders of the world who have spread evil, hate, bloodshed, rape and murder under the one who will rule with a rod of Iron.

Or are they still being empowered by satan?

Study about the lords rule. the world will not look like it has the past 2000 years. it will be a world of peace.

"Study about the lords rule. the world will not look like it has the past 2000 years. it will be a world of peace"

Micah
5:1 Now gather thyself in troops, O daughter of troops: he hath laid siege against us: they shall smite the judge of Israel with a rod upon the cheek.

5:2 But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.

5:3 Therefore will he give them up, until the time that she which travaileth hath brought forth: then the remnant of his brethren shall return unto the children of Israel.

5:4 And he shall stand and feed in the strength of the LORD, in the majesty of the name of the LORD his God; and they shall abide: for now shall he be great unto the ends of the earth.

5:5 And this man shall be the peace, when the Assyrian shall come into our land: and when he shall tread in our palaces, then shall we raise against him seven shepherds, and eight principal men.

5:6 And they shall waste the land of Assyria with the sword, and the land of Nimrod in the entrances thereof: thus shall he deliver us from the Assyrian, when he cometh into our land, and when he treadeth within our borders.

5:7 And the remnant of Jacob shall be in the midst of many people as a dew from the LORD, as the showers upon the grass, that tarrieth not for man, nor waiteth for the sons of men.

5:8 And the remnant of Jacob shall be among the Gentiles in the midst of many people as a lion among the beasts of the forest, as a young lion among the flocks of sheep: who, if he go through, both treadeth down, and teareth in pieces, and none can deliver.

5:9 Thine hand shall be lifted up upon thine adversaries, and all thine enemies shall be cut off.

5:10 And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD, that I will cut off thy horses out of the midst of thee, and I will destroy thy chariots:

5:11 And I will cut off the cities of thy land, and throw down all thy strong holds:

5:12 And I will cut off witchcrafts out of thine hand; and thou shalt have no more soothsayers:

5:13 Thy graven images also will I cut off, and thy standing images out of the midst of thee; and thou shalt no more worship the work of thine hands.

5:14 And I will pluck up thy groves out of the midst of thee: so will I destroy thy cities.

5:15 And I will execute vengeance in anger and fury upon the heathen, such as they have not heard.

Zechariah
14:1 Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee.

14:2 For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.

14:3 Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.

14:4 And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.

14:5 And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the LORD my God shall come, and all the saints with thee.

14:6 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the light shall not be clear, nor dark:

14:7 But it shall be one day which shall be known to the LORD, not day, nor night: but it shall come to pass, that at evening time it shall be light.

14:8 And it shall be in that day, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of them toward the former sea, and half of them toward the hinder sea: in summer and in winter shall it be.

14:9 And the LORD shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one LORD, and his name one.

14:10 All the land shall be turned as a plain from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem: and it shall be lifted up, and inhabited in her place, from Benjamin's gate unto the place of the first gate, unto the corner gate, and from the tower of Hananeel unto the king's winepresses.

14:11 And men shall dwell in it, and there shall be no more utter destruction; but Jerusalem shall be safely inhabited.

14:12 And this shall be the plague wherewith the LORD will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.

14:13 And it shall come to pass in that day, that a great tumult from the LORD shall be among them; and they shall lay hold every one on the hand of his neighbour, and his hand shall rise up against the hand of his neighbour.

14:14 And Judah also shall fight at Jerusalem; and the wealth of all the heathen round about shall be gathered together, gold, and silver, and apparel, in great abundance.

14:15 And so shall be the plague of the horse, of the mule, of the camel, and of the ass, and of all the beasts that shall be in these tents, as this plague.

14:16 And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.

14:17 And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain.

14:18 And if the family of Egypt go not up, and come not, that have no rain; there shall be the plague, wherewith the LORD will smite the heathen that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.

14:19 This shall be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all nations that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.

14:20 In that day shall there be upon the bells of the horses, HOLINESS UNTO THE LORD; and the pots in the LORD's house shall be like the bowls before the altar.

14:21 Yea, every pot in Jerusalem and in Judah shall be holiness unto the LORD of hosts: and all they that sacrifice shall come and take of them, and seethe therein: and in that day there shall be no more the Canaanite in the house of the LORD of hosts.

Sorry EG,

I don't hate you. What I hate is what people do to the whole of scripture. Again you left out where scripture plainly says that Abraham DID NOT receive what he was promised. Remember the promise was to Abraham also. He was to receive the land ALSO. The problem comes when you try to force a 100% literal fulfillment on the promises one makes God out to be a LIAR. So once did God lie to Abraham about the land promise when under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit both Stephen and the writer of Hebrews very plainly that Abraham NEVER received the physical land promise? Or is it that God showed Abraham a picture of what he was to truly receive? Which is and was the heavenly city and country they were looking for?

===================================================================

Sarah,

strangers and foreigners is a parallel statement to Jesus saying 'you are in the world, but not of the world'.

11PETER 2:11.
Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul';
(we are not to partake of the wicked works of the flesh, we are to be separate, a Holy Nation),
for we are appointed to be Kings and Priests, we are appointed to inherit the earth -
we are appointed to rule upon thrones.

it is basically the same Command that we are given, and that is, 'be separate and come-out from among them',
the very first thing that we are to seek, 'is the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness'.
so that we may hear,

MATTHEW 25:34,
Then shall the King say unto them on His right hand, Come, ye blessed of My Father,
inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

the 'inheritance is in accord with the Laws of 'inheritance' written in scripture,
and when we obtain this inheritance we rule over the subject or inhabitants
of the Land.
if we have a King, we must have subjects to rule over and take care of -
the Holy-Godly-Order, which is Eternal.

No, I did not, Because I proved abraham was told he would NEVER GET IT. So how can you says he HAD to get it, when he was told himself and four generations would be slaves in a foreign country. Why do you think I asked yuo why you did not read and study before you said such a thing?

God did fulfill it, HE TOLD THEM THEY WOULD NOT GET IT.. Why are you going to sit there and ignore that fact?

Does God say something is going to happen, then only partially make it come true? Why would God lie and not do what he said he would do? is that the God yuo want to worship? If so, you can have him, that humanizes him, not dietizes him!!

what people fail to realise is God has better things for us He makes promises to us here on earth, We love them, and receive them with Joy, But in the GRAND SCHEME of things, We would RATHER HAVE the heavenly gifts.

If I was given a mention by God. I would love it, but compared to my heavenly mansion, it does not even compair. I would RATHER have the heavenly.

That is what Hebrews is trying to show. Especially since he was writing to Jews who though the important thing was the law and the land, He was trying to prove to them, even that fathers wanted a better thing, Which is eternity.

that would be great,

Yet eternal means eternal. It comming to pass does not fulfill it, It just means they recieved it, as promised. But the promise is still binding.

If someone gives you something and it is yours forever. You do not say once you recieve it it is fulfilled. And complete. Forever still takes effect. He can nto just take it back from you. And still say it was fulfilled. He broke his promise to you. because when he said forever, HE DID NOT MEAN IT

Acts 15:16 After this I will return, and will build again the tabernacle of David, which is fallen down; and I will build again the ruins thereof, and I will set it up:
Peter is explaining to the Jews that Judah and the Gentiles in Christ fulfill prophecy, this is a Word for Word quote fulfilling Amos 9:11;
(Amo 9:11)
In that day will I raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen, and close up the breaches thereof; and I will raise up its ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old;

Where does Genesis 15 say that Abraham WOULD NOT receive the promise? It plainly says this

“Know certainly that your descendants will be strangers in a land that is not theirs, and will serve them, and they will afflict them four hundred years.
