the topic was the law. which is our tutor, to lead us to christ (thus it is still valid)

did ANY of the apostles instruct jews to return to Israel thousands of years in the future, while presumably telling gentiles they had no such promise?

nothing like that exists in scripture and never did.
 
Well, this thread was going somewhat smoothly even with disagreements - till Jumping Jack Flash came along.

There are ways to discuss the word of God without being rude and obnoxious, and prideful. We have all posted beliefs that are contrary but most have not gone to the level of disrespect for our brothers and sisters in Christ. Because whether we believe in a land promise or not does not negate the fact that we believe in Christ and should therefore treat those of the household with respect.

you are the one who holds to and God help you, teaches, the very ideas that lead the pharisees to plot to kill Christ.

people like that make it a salvic issue, when it is not. It takes the pride of being a christian and shames it.

But what does the Scripture say? “Cast out the slave woman and her son, for the son of the slave woman shall not inherit with the son of the free woman.” So, brothers, we are not children of the slave but of the free woman.
