So if salvation is being born-again of the Holy Spirit of God and someone thinks salvation can be lost, wouldn't it stand to reason that one would have to get unborn-again?
how can you get unborn again, if you did not do anything to be born again in the first place? Are you going to be worse a person after salvation then before (when God saved you) sometimes I think people just do not think when they chose what to believe

It is not possible to get unborn again. But it is possible to lose the Holy Spirit. That's why we must renew continuously our lives by partaking with Christ (life) through the Holy Spirit that's in the church.
if you would lose the HS, you would lose life, and thus be unborn.

There is no man that hath power over the spirit to retain the spirit;
neither hath he power in the day of death: and there is no discharge in that war;

neither shall wickedness deliver those that are given to it.

4For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift,
and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,
5And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,

6If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves
the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.

yep. for the earth brings forth rain, and some may be near to being cursed. (notice the word near)

To say one can lose salvation places christ to open shame, because you say he must be crucified again, his first death was not enough to support his gift of eternal life on all who believe.

What would be the point in being unborn.
You would be safe to say that they were never born again in the first place. Fact is fact. You can't change what has been and done already.
even when we are faithless, he (god) is faithfull, he can not deny himself (his promise)

To say they were never born again in the first place is you placing your opinion on the subject, "fact is" the bible is packed full of these kinds of warnings :

2 Peter 2:21 (NKJV) For it would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than having known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered to them.

1 Peter 5:8 (NKJV) Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.

this would all be a waist of space if one could not lose their salvation...
lol. You and your work based gospel. who think you can be good enough to earn it (or not lose it which is the same thing)

I was not born again of flesh and blood (sweat and hard labor) i was born again of God. He did the work.

1 Peter 1:23
having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever,

The false teaching or eternal security was not taught in either the OT or NT.

James is not moot but conclusively proves ES to be false.

Yeah keep believing that and see where it gets you.....eternal security is taught in the bible...your problem is your blindness to it and the heretical dogma you stand on which will take you to the proverbial lake-o-fire.....good luck with your works for salvation doctrine....Go study Galatians and trust Jesus before you die in your sins!

If one cannot be saved then again lost, why would Peter give this warning? :

1 Peter 5:8 (NKJV) Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.
Because ones life and witness can be ruined by riotous living.....no where is salvation tied to this verse.......!

He must be one of those who thinks the law saved the OT believers, how else could they have been saved? Some people just do not think. Hebrews makes it clearn no one was ever saved by the law. And paul makes it clear no one was ever saved by any work whatsoever, but faith in Christ, Even James states the same, just not their perverted interpretation of James.

Peter wasn't talking to Job, there are far to many verses for anyone to refute the ability for a saved person to be able to become lost, God will not let satan take someone like He did not let him take Job, but God did not keep Job from leaving God.

Another warning from Peter to the saints.

2 Peter 2:21 (NKJV) For it would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than having known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered to them.
More double talk and rejection of truth.....wow...do you actually read the bible and or believe what comes out of your mouth...

Satan desired to devour Job
Satan desired to sift Peter like wheat
Satan desires to devour whomever he can devour

ALL the same role by Satan and the same desire from Adam to the present...come on dude....open your eyes and come on line with the truth and quit talking out of both sides of your mouth!

Amen and been there and done that as well.....God whips his children and does not cast them away......just think if we treated our children the same way the workers for salvation believe God treats one who sins or falls......What a farce for sure!

amen, to think a human father would treat their children better than a heavenly father is just outrageous.

No.......impossible to be un-born again........as what God does it is eternal....nothing added and nothing taken away and he does this that men may fear him.......Ecclesiastes 3.....

I have a son by birth...no matter what he does the fact that he is my son BY BIRTH will never change....he can make me mad, break our FELLOWSHIP which requires Discipline and LOVE to restore, but his SONSHIP never changed through out the whole process.....same is true of being born again of the spirit....you are SEALED by the H.S. in the hands of Christ and in the hand of the Father...That birth cannot ever change as it is ETERNAL.....

this is not scripture just your opinion....seal as in mark of ownership or sealed as closed box ...the seal is a mark of ownership.....if one is not worthy of that mark on the day of redemption God takes his mark and they go where they belong....that is why he warns ...
Ephesians 4:30
And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

using those two verses to apply to a born again Christian is also placing your opinion into the Scripture.

No it doesn't.....it teaches that those who add works to faith to gain or keep salvation are not teaching and or standing in the position of grace.....gospel of a different kind no power to save and your works for salvation bs will not fly with me dude...go bark up another tree....!
