I changed my avatar picture... and its sideways...

I cant get it to go up-right. :-(

But its up right on my laptop.... is there something wrong with my laptop?

hmmm. I wonder if you turn it clockwise one turn if it will right itself once you transfer it? Is that illogical?

No, but when I edit it... its upright... but when i try to upload it... its sideways.. I dont get it.

i have this problem to, did you find a solution?

I've never had a problem with loading sideways avatars..You could do what I suggested in my post #2, and use a photo editor to flip it right side up. I use Pixlr Photo Editor--the one with the blue butterfly on it..:) It works rather well.

For anyone having this problem, make sure that the picture is actually positioned correctly. What I mean by this is that in Windows, if you rotate a picture using the Photo Viewer, I don't think that rotation is applied as a permanent change to the picture file. You may need to use the 'edit' function, rotate the picture, and then save/overwrite the file. The change should then be permanently applied.

Hopefully that helps anyone still running into the problem. :)

I have a photo manipulation program on my computer also. As long as you don't mind sending the picture to me in a message, I can see whether I can help or not.

Cheers!
