So...quick re-cap about my neighbors...
The people two houses down have loud music going most of the day and well into the night, they get drunk and yell at their kids using a lot of profanity, they occasionally wander over to ask if I have beer, I once caught the woman wandering through my yard, picking dandelions for dandelion wine, and they burn...well, anything they can get their hands on, I think, so there's almost always a weird smell outside because I live down-wind from them.
The woman that lives behind us has goats. And she gives them rides in her car. Like, they sit on the back seat like a dog, and go cruise around. This woman is also a self-proclaimed witch, and announced one day that she'd put a hex on the whole town. She only really leaves her house at night now, and nobody talks to her. I've had to chase her goats out of my yard numerous times...though, I don't hold it against the goats that their owner doesn't keep them properly fenced in, so I try to be nice about it...you know, "Go on, little goat...get outta here you smelly thing...stop eating that tree...go on home, kid (geddit??)".
There's an older woman who lives across the street and down two houses (right across from the dandelion thief). She has a Jack Russel terrier that she walks sometimes (usually the dog just runs around freely, but occasionally she puts a leash on her and walks her), and many mornings, I've looked out my window to see this woman standing on the corner by my house and just...standing there...looking slowly around, like she's completely forgotten where she even is. This lady also wandered into my yard one night last year, middle of winter, no coat or anything, and just stood beside the front gate and stared off into the distance. I had to go out and tell her to go home before she froze to death.
The lady that lives across the street on the opposite corner can be heard yelling at her two puppies (also Jack Russels) day and night..."JAAAASMIIIIINE!!!!!!!!!! GET BACK HERE!!! FIIIIIIIONA!!! COME IN THE HOUSE!!!" And it's funny because...they're fenced in a small yard...they're not like, across town or anything.
The guy who lives across the street from us drives a semi in the summer time, hauling hay bales for local ranchers. But every morning, all winter long, he starts up his semi and lets it sit and idle for about three hours. I don't know if that's necessary, but it's directly across from my bedroom window, and he always starts it at five a.m.
And noooow, thanks to having connections with local law enforcement, I've just found out that the neighbors up the street (two men, brothers, who are very quiet and keep to themselves (except when they wander on over to the bonfire place to have a drink or ten)...
All I can say is that there are now some very...violated...chickens living in their yard.
THIS WHOLE PLACE IS INSANE.
