Yes, God is a jealous God.. BUT, all these other gods are and were not real. They were idols, not gods. There is only one God..
Does anybody actually believe that God cares how we worship Him? Why we can do anything we like and call it go9od and poor ole God is just so happy to get someone to notice Him that He laps it up.
You really think the God of the universe gives two hoots what we think? He tells us what to do, our choice is not to decide what to do, it is to decide whether to do it or not.

First of all, Gentiles were NEVER under the Law. That was a Jewish exclusive. Second, the Law has been fulfilled and all Christians both Jew and Gentile alike are under a new covenant. Perhaps we could spend a little time in the book of Hebrews examining some of the things.
