No, I have not proved that... I have only stated what the bible says... The one who trusts in Yeshua and keeps his commandments till the end will be saved... PERIOD!

No brownie points, all my deeds are of filthy rags

Isaiah 64:6
For all of us have become like one who is unclean, And all our righteous deeds are like a filthy garment; And all of us wither like a leaf, And our iniquities, like the wind, take us away.

lol, you say one thing, but you preach another.

I keep his commands also. But not to get saved, I do not need brownie points, I have the blood of his son which has cleansed me of all sin, and made me whiter than snow.

Your problem is you do not realise, your still condemned by the law. You think you are being obedient enough, and that will save you, Where I have humbled myself and called on the name of the Lord, and he DID SAVE ME (no might about it) Because I have acknowledged the fact I have failed to meet his righteous standard, am failing to meet his righteous standard, and will continue to fail to meet his righteous standard.

Maybe one day the law will be that schoolmaster to you also. and you will find Gods grace, and stop trying to get brownie points hoping your good enough.

Then you can have an abba father like I have, and WANT to obey his commands, WANT to do good. WANT to be the best you can be FOR HIM, but not in a legalistic way. thinking your doing it all too get God to save you

You still don't understand the context of willful sin by the bible, even though I and others have explained it to you many times. I will state it again for you;

Yes I do, ALL sin is wilfull, if you did not want to do it and fall to temptation, you would never have done it. your the one who does not understand what it is.

sin is sin is sin, as james said, even the least of our sins cause us to be guilty (and rightly condemned) of the whole law.

Do you repent and ask forgiveness of your sin/sins we you commit them ?
( This is forgiven sin the bible speaks of, that is needed for salvation. )

Do you not repent or ask forgiveness of your sin, and keep committing it ?
( This is willful sin the bible speaks of, and warns believers not to stay in or return to. )

Repenting and asking forgiveness of your sins is not trying to earn salvation, it is obeying what the Lord said to do out of your love for Him. Lord Jesus says you do not have salvation if you don't repent of your sins, and don't forgive others of theirs as well.

no, I would not MOCK God this way, and excuse my sin by saying as long as I do some religious act of penance and beg forgiveness, I can sin all I want.

I go to my daddy, and say God, I knew it was wrong, yet I failed and did it anyway, Daddy, thank you for forgiving me and loving me in spite of my continued failures, and please help me to resist temptation next time it comes. For I want to do your will. not my own Lord.

I have a question for you, why do you deny what Jesus said ?

This is not meant to sound rude, but it just baffles me how Jesus words that are very important for us is denied, twisted, or claimed not needed.

The enduring to the end has nothing to do with working to earning salvation by keeping mosaic laws that people mistake for the moral laws of God. It has to do with not letting a trial, tribulation, deception, of false teacher lead you away from God by returning to a slave of sin. You remain in Christ if you continue to serve the will of God in your life ( Hebrews 3 ).

why do you deny what Jesus says?

whoever BELIEVES in him HAS (present tense, active) Eternal life, And I will never leave nor forsake them.

Whoever believes in me has life, whoever does not believe is condemned already

Eat of the food I will give you and you will NEVER DIE, NEVER HUNGER OR THIRST, LIVE FOREVER, and be RISEN on the last die.

why do you keep eating food which will not give you what Jesus said it will give?

I am not a slave of sin, I have been born of God, His spirit is in me, and as John so correctly told us, I can not be a slave to sin, for his spirit is in me.

Maybe if you would recieve his spirit, you too would stop being a slave to sin and the law.

Roman Rite - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

We find the prayers of our Canon in the treatise de Sacramentis and allusions to it in the 4th century. So our Mass goes back, without essential change, to the age when it first developed out of the oldest liturgy of all. It is still redolent of that liturgy, of the days when Caesar ruled the world and thought he could stamp out the faith of Christ, when our fathers met together before dawn and sang a hymn to Christ as to a God.

Why does the Catholic church say they celebrate easter, because of what Rome did, and they follow there traditions.

their easter worship started way before Christ died, and they do not hide this and other facts.

I might be wrong on everything...

Your humility is refreshing...no man/woman has all the answers. We are to grow to maturity, avoiding things unprofitable, and hold fast to the truth. Truth is so rarely spoken these days, the majority of "Christians" are not following the Messiah they claim to hold dear, but instead are following man made religion with it's traditions, very much like the Pharisees of Messiah's day.

Ironic, if you follow in the footsteps of Messiah you will be called a Pharisee/legalistic, trying to earn your salvation, etc., when the very ones who call you those things are acting as the Pharisee back in the day,: Jesus replied, "And why do you, by your traditions, violate the direct commandments of God?

hmm.. so who would be violating the commands of God with tradition?

IF you show me where the law is no longer in command then I will not believe that...
what are his commandments then? 1 John 2:3-6

1 John 2:3-6 is talking about the Commands that are under the New Testament and not the Old Testament. For no man puts new wine into old wine skins. Believers do not sacrifice animals anymore to atone for sin because Jesus Christ is our perfect eternal sacrifice; For the Temple veil has been torn. In fact, some of the New Testament Commands actually conflict with the Old Testament Commands. For example: Jesus changed the OT Law of an eye for an eye into the NT Law of turn the other cheek. Jesus changed the OT Law on divorce as prescribed in the OT. For Jesus said He (God) allowed such a thing because of the hardness of their hearts. Then Jesus gave us strict new rules on marriage and divorce in the NT (That conflict with the divorce laws in the OT). The OT Law says you are not to eat unclean animals. But God told Peter to slay and eat unclean animals as a part of the NT. Also, nowhere is the Sabbath Command repeated or restressed clearly. Romans 14 says some regard every day the same and others regard one day more than another. Colossians 2:17 essentially says that the Sabbaths, holy days, and rituals in the OT were shadows or types of Christ. GWT (God's Word Translation) helps to clarify what verse 17 says in the KJV. It says,

"These are a shadow of the things to come, but the body [that cast the shadow] belongs to Christ."

So do we follow some half changed Old Testament (Because of the NT) + the New Testament? No. We just follow the Commands given to us under the New Testament. In Hebrews 8:13, the author of Hebrews is talking about what Jesus said in the past. In the passage, Jesus essentially said sometime before the cross that a new covenant was going to make the first one old (i.e. the Old Testament`); For that which decayeth and waxes old is read to vanish away.

For where a Testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator lives. (Hebrews 9:17). For where a Testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator (Hebrews 9:16). Jesus Christ was that testator. In other words, when a person dies in their family their is a will and testament given to his familiy so that they can be beneficiaries. This Will and Testament cannot go into effect until the person dies. In other words, the New Testament went into effect officially with Christ's death and the old vanished away. For Paul said if you seek to be justified by the Law (i.e. the Law of Moses), you have fallen from grace. For the Scriptures say the Law was a school master to bring us unto Christ.

Now, does that we mean we have to go out and obey all of the NT Commands today or we are not saved? No. We are saved by God's grace when we repent of our sins and accept Jesus Christ. When we slip up into a particular sin, we confess it and forsake it with God's help. God will in time perfect us by His Spirit to do all the Commands in the NT that the Lord wants us to do. But salvation is not a "To Do List." Nor is Salvation is not in living in unrepentant sin (Such as murder, hate, theft, lust, drunkenness, etc.). A believer must be changed spiritualy (i.e. New Testament uses the words "born again" and Old Testament uses the words "Circumcised in Heart"). From here, God will do the good work within the believer. Works are just the evidence that you have been saved, and they are not done so as to be saved. Holiness and works are just the proof of the pudding that your faith is true or that God (Christ) lives within you (Who is the source of your salvation).

What Ishtar? What xmas? Christians celebrate the nativity and Resurrection of Jesus Christ. What Ishtar?

Christians never celebrated the Mass of Christ until the 300'sAD.

The Chronography of 354 AD contains early evidence of the celebration on December 25 of a Christian liturgical feast of the birth of Jesus. This was in Rome, while in Eastern Christianity the birth of Jesus was already celebrated in connection with the Epiphany on January 6.[SUP][42][/SUP][SUP][43][/SUP] The December 25 celebration was imported into the East later: in Antioch by John Chrysostom towards the end of the 4th century,[SUP][43][/SUP] probably in 388, and in Alexandria only in the following century.[SUP][44][/SUP] Even in the West, the January 6 celebration of the nativity of Jesus seems to have continued until after 380.[SUP][45][/SUP] In 245, Origen of Alexandria, writing about Leviticus 12:1–8, commented that Scripture mentions only sinners as celebrating their birthdays, namely Pharaoh, who then had his chief baker hanged (Genesis 40:20–22), and Herod, who then had John the Baptist beheaded (Mark 6:21–27), and mentions saints as cursing the day of their birth, namely Jeremiah (Jeremiah 20:14–15) and Job (Job 3:1–16).[SUP][46][/SUP] In 303, Arnobius ridiculed the idea of celebrating the birthdays of gods, a passage cited as evidence that Arnobius was unaware of any nativity celebration.[SUP][47][/SUP] Since Christmas does not celebrate Christ's birth "as God" but "as man", this is not evidence against Christmas being a feast at this time.[SUP][7][/SUP] The fact the Donatists of North Africa celebrated Christmas may indicate that the feast was established by the time that church was created in 311.

Many popular customs associated with Christmas developed independently of the commemoration of Jesus' birth, with certain elements having origins in pre-Christian festivals that were celebrated around the winter solstice by pagan populations who were later converted to Christianity. These elements, including the Yule log from Yule and gift giving from Saturnalia,[SUP][48][/SUP] became syncretized into Christmas over the centuries. The prevailing atmosphere of Christmas has also continually evolved since the holiday's inception, ranging from a sometimes raucous, drunken, carnival-like state in the Middle Ages,[SUP][49][/SUP] to a tamer family-oriented and children-centered theme introduced in a 19th-century reformation.[SUP][50][/SUP][SUP][51][/SUP] Additionally, the celebration of Christmas was banned on more than one occasion within certain Protestant groups, such as the Puritans, due to concerns that it was too pagan or unbiblical.[SUP][52][/SUP][SUP][53] [/SUP]- Christmas - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Here is a list of 1,050 New Testament Commands (For believers who know they are saved by God's grace and not of works).

https://www.cai.org/bible-studies/1050-new-testament-commands

And here is a short list of New Testament Commands that did not appear on their list (that I discovered):

If you are unsure of how the New Testament replaces the Old Testament, GCI (Grace Community International) has a lot of articles on this topic that helped me to understand it with Scripture.

I would start with this article here:

In my first comment I said that the Christians from East celebrated the nativity on the same day with Jesus' baptism (theophany). T_Laurich's silence to my post proves that he was not very honest in his "quest".
I am not sure about the "christians never celebrated the mass of Christ until 300 AD". What proofs do you have that Christians never celebrated the Mass until 300 AD?

Wild stuff right here...

I agree. A believer cannot sin all they want. There are sins that lead unto death (1 John 5:16-18). Paul and John both talk about these sins. Paul and John list these sins, such as murder, hate, theft, adultery (lust), drunkenness, idolatry, etc. Paul says you will die and or not inherit the Kingdom of God if you commit such sins. John says in Revelation that all liars will have their part in the Lake of Fire (Which is the second death). We are told by John, that if we as a believer sin, we have an advocate named Jesus Christ that we can go to (1 John 2:1), whereby we can confess our sins so as to be cleansed of all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9); And all unrighteousness is sin (1 John 5:17).

God's people are supposed to be good. Not evil.

For we know who the good guys are vs. the bad guys by how they behave.

This is what Jesus meant when He said that you shall know them by their fruits. For a good tree cannot bring forth bad fruit (and vise versa).

Too late you already gave it to me and a card is the mail to you so you better check the mailbox first for the next several days....Or you are gonna get in trouble cause this Blond Mom has already sent a Birthday and Christmas card to you. I am speedy and on top of the card sending thing....ooooopppppssss......I didn't mean to get you in trouble.....so go check the mailbox in a day or so........

I mailed it yesterday so it probably will arrive on Saturday.

it is wild. they use that excuse against us, yet it is they who actually do it.
Idk, eg, sounds like you want to obey God but want to say it's brownie points for others to do the same. Some even agree to being saved murderers that go to church..

James 1:12 - 1:18

12 Blessed [is] the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.

13 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:

14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.

15 Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.

16 Do not err, my beloved brethren.

17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

18 Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.

I think this explains it well...

why do you deny what Jesus says?

whoever BELIEVES in him HAS (present tense, active) Eternal life, And I will never leave nor forsake them.

Once again your words, not mine.
I do not deny what Jesus said, and I as well as others have over and over again showed what it means to believe in Him.
It is not just simply believe He existed, died on the cross, rose on the third day to give us forgiveness of our sins.
Jesus tells us clearly that those who hear and do His teachings believe in Him, not those who hear only.

Idk, eg, sounds like you want to obey God but want to say it's brownie points for others to do the same.

They are not doing the same thing.

They are obeying HOPING God will save them.

I am obeying because God has saved me.

not even close. cause and effect are 180 degrees out of sink.

Isn't it interesting that those who proclaimed they were obedient by saying, "Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in your name? and in your name have cast out devils? and in your name done many wonderful works?" and Jesus told them to depart because He never knew them?

But in Matthew 25: 37-40 Those who were righteous (under the Blood of Jesus) asked Jesus: "Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? [SUP]38 [/SUP]When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? [SUP]39 [/SUP]When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?"[SUP]40 [/SUP]The King will reply, "Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me."

So on one hand the "goats" (unrighteous) were focused on what they did in their own strength. They were self-focused. They were self-consciously aware of their 'good works'. The "sheep" (righteous) were not even aware that they were serving Jesus Christ Himself. The righteous had the nature of Jesus Christ in them and were not focused on doing good works. They were only focused on loving God and loving their neighbor as themselves. They were living testimonies of Jesus Christ and God was working in them to do His good pleasure. They were sheep following after the Shepherd.

These are the commandments Jesus tells us to live by: Mark 12: 30, 31 - AND YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND, AND WITH ALL YOUR STRENGTH. THE SECOND IS THIS, YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF. THERE IS NO COMMANDMENT GREATER THAN THESE.

Jesus said: Not every one that says to me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that does the will of my Father which is in heaven.

And what is the will of the Father?

John 6:40 - For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who looks on the Son and believes in him should have eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day.

Look on the Son and believe Him. :)
