Are you implying that the Messiah's Sacrifice made it ok to "not let go of our traditions?"
You can say that.
Remember the Elders were the ones that know the laws and corrected others when they doesn't performed them properly. But remember the laws were to make people to become respectful and loving soul; but instead it has made them into hateful, judgmental souls because they had followed them as a pattern but not learning the purpose of them. Just as the Catholic priest are doing, just following the same old routine like a theatrical religion that rehearsing the same old script and over and over, but not gaining wisdom from it and which that kills the purpose of the laws.
And that justifies "tradition" how?
They made 23 vols of their own law...
It seems you are implying that the Pharisees kept Yah's Law and "the Law made them judgmental. This is not true.
Mattithyah 15:2-3, "Why do Your disciples transgress the traditions of the elders? For they do not wash their hands when they eat. But He answered, and said to them: And why do you transgress the Laws of Yahweh by your traditions?"
Paul says:
Romans 7:
12 Therefore the Law is holy, and the commandments are holy, and just, and righteous.
14 For we know that the Law is spiritual; but I was carnal, sold into the power of sin.
Romans 8:5-8, "For those who live according to the flesh, set their minds on the things of the flesh; but those who live according to the Spirit, set their minds on the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against; (bitterly opposed to), Yahweh; for it his not subject to the Law of Yahweh, nor indeed can be. So then, those who are of the flesh cannot please Yahweh."
Acts 24:14, "But I confess this to you, that after the way which they call heresy--so I worship the Father of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the Law and in the Prophets."
Romans 7:25, "Thanks be to Yahweh, I have deliverance through Yahshua Messiah our King! So then, with this same mind, I myself serve the Law of Yahweh, while in the flesh that is yet subject to the law of sin."
However a new teaching has arrived, a teaching that it is the Law that is bad. No it is sin that is bad.\
2 Thessalonians 2:7, "7 For the mystery of iniquity is already working, but the One restraining him will continue to restrain him, until he is made to appear in the midst. And then that lawless one will be revealed, whom Yahshua will remove with the breath of His mouth, and make powerless with the appearance of His coming-- Whose coming is according to the energy of Satan..."
The Mystery of Iniquity... Iniquity is Lawlessness... Why does the world love iniquity so much, even believers are taught the Law is bad...
Mattithyah 24:12, "And because iniquity will abound, the love of the many will grow cold."

1 Kepha (Peter) 4:17-18 For the time has come that judgment must begin at The House of Yahweh; and if it first begins with us, what will the end be of those who do not obey the message of Yahweh? And if the righteous are scarcely saved, where will the wicked and the sinner appear?

Those who have practiced righteousness will be resurrected in order to live; and those who have practiced wickedness will be resurrected in order to be damned."
Isayah 24:1-6, "Behold, Yahweh makes the earth empty and makes it waste, perverts the face of it and scatters abroad its inhabitants; And it will be: as with the people, so with the priest; as with the servant, so with his owner; as with the maid, so with her mistress; as with the buyer, so with the seller; as with the lender, so with the borrower; as with him who takes usury, so with him who gives usury to him: The land will be utterly emptied and utterly plundered, for Yahweh has spoken this word. The earth mourns and fades away, the world mourns and fades away, and the haughty people of the earth languish. The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants of it, because they have transgressed the Laws, changed the ordinance, and broken the everlasting covenant. Because of this, the curse has devoured the earth, and they who dwell therein are desolate; therefore, the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left."
