At that time His disciples included a number of John's disciples. He allowed them to water baptize. Jesus baptizes in the Holy Spirit.
There are two recorded baptisms of the Holy Spirit, one on Pentecost to the Jew, the other the house of Cornelius the Gentiles to show God was not a respecter of person :
