Vacation mode enabled (well other than still waiting to hear from the guy who I'm letting recruit me as a part time English teacher so I know what my hours will be). I'm tempted to bake more tasty shortbread cookies for christmas, and then tempted to keep trying to be good and not eat those chunks of carby addictiveness. Oh and going to see the new hobbit movie today, even found a friend to go with.

There are many spoiled whiny unreasonable people out there masquerading as responsible adults.
Life should be fair, that's what fair means….. but it's not and people are often more loyal to their own interests than to what is right or fair.
Being reasonably content with your life now is much more valuable than working a good paying job that makes you stressed out and miserable.
God is your provider, not your employer or your own abilities or efforts.
My first job out of college I was stuck in an office with a boss who didn't know what to do with me or give me any direction, but reacted like I was doing something unbelievably inappropriate if I was surfing the net or reading a book to try to keep myself from complete boredom. I say now it was a very good job for someone else, but finding the courage to leave and "fail" at that job was one of the best things that ever happened to me faith wise. Don't get too discouraged by a few false starts and challenges and don't blame yourself for all of them, sometimes its the other person who has the issues.
Your courage and tenacity throughout this year have been inspiring and you are well ahead of the game when it comes to wisdom and maturity.
