It me you dont seem to like, ever post I make, even when it 100% Scripture, you find a way to accuse, rebuke, or question my walk.

While you were in such a mad dash to speak down on me you missed the verse:

For consider Him Who endured such opposition against Himself from sinners, so that you would not become weary, and faint in your minds. .........; nevertheless, afterward it produces the peaceable fruit of righteousness, that is, for those who have been trained by it."

I will translate into my own words.

Think about what the Messiah went through, you have not gone through anything that bad, so be strong. Yes Yah will correct you but if you accept that correction it will guide you into being the person Yah wants you to be.
you know, honey, i don't know about others, but for this ole lady,
it really is helpful when you put things into your own words.

thanks. :)

e-g, at my age (health considered...)

just waking up is quite an accomplishment.

tbh, my first thought is typically, thanks, Lord!
followed quickly by...coffee. ;)

I am always sore when I wake up so I wake up with my coffee my meds and the Bible. Believe it or not but the Bible is the one I can't do without each morning.

I think that is an additional reason I have a "disconnect" here.

This is going to sound silly, but I feel odd wording things in my own way, I try to speak using Scriptures to make up for my lack of being able to word things properly... I think at times when im trying to be gentle it comes off as not because my wording.

Off topic a bit, but have you ever had "wheat grass" smoothie? It wakes you up like coffee but last longer, is cleaner and is healthy! Gonna need something to make it tasty tho! :) Please give it a try! Its so healthy!

you're wording sounds just fine to me...
God's Word means different things to different people,
so some narrative goes a long way explaining, i think. :)

A banana goes a long way to sweeten it up!

Do you do raw? I use the freeze dried powder, I know it not as healthy but its cheaper and easier, I love it, thank Yahweh for wheat grass!

I usually set an alarm before going to bed for sleep. When time comes then it will ring ultimately and I wake up. That's my daily routine as well.

i'm actually laughing out loud, because i detest bananas in smoothies! :D

i typically throw frozen berries, orange juice, some flax seed, the wheat grass and a leeeeelte raw honey
into the vitamix.
then plug my nose and down it quickly. hehe

The context of Hebrews 12:3 is your Christian walk, and your christian service to others.

That's the point.

If you miss the context of walk and service, 12:1 shows it's a continuation of chapter 11.

I thought this was a simply and straightforward point to make, I wasn't trying to start a debate.

I still do not get your point. no one was arguing heb 3

He posted that passage, and I said that was great, but where is the part about serving others, which is the focus of the church (it was always the focus of Christ in all he did) and we are supposed to be like Christ right?

Hmmm, you are only 47. Just wait.

Here is the bad news, you are the best you are going to be right now. It doesn't get any better. Trust me, I know.
