I am definitely a morning person. I wake up thankful and my feet hit the floor running usually have a smile on my face and a song in my heart as I feel it is good to be alive. I just turned 60 today and my 34 year old daughter would look at me and say How can you get out of bed talking and cheerful? Believe me I know some folks would probably like to slap me into silence but it is just my nature and the way God made me. I am a happy person most of the time because God has taken care of me and is still taking care of me so what do I have to be anxious about?
Even if things go bad God is still in control and He will make things come out on top eventually so I just with God's help choose to be happy and let Him take care of things.
Yes, I will admit when I was working I could wake up tired, but been retired for over a year now and if I need sleep I go to bed just could not do that when I was working. I wake up at all hours and prowl about I think it is an older lady thing, but when I was working I still had to go to work so yes I could be tired, but I didn't have to be grumpy and I chose to be happy still and only God can help you do that.

A few years ago, I was having my morning cup of coffee, and noticed something furry sitting on the couch next to me (I am so not a morning person) I thought it was one of my grandkids stuffed animals. After I finally came to reality, I noticed the stuffed animal was a racoon! I thought it was sleeping! I got a stick and wanted to get it out before the dogs saw it. Only to find it was dead. My boston terrier must have killed it overnight, and left me a present! (A racoon)
