Puzzled, Why Not Talk to God About the Sabbath?

The law was JUST a shadow of HIM! He was what the law spoke of!

The Sabbath is so much more than just number 4 in the line up of the 10 Commandments. The Sabbath was started at the end of creation week as a Memorial to God, It was His signature of a job well done and pronounced as Good at the end of each of the previous 6 days. The 7thd day was blessed, hallowed, a sign between us and God a time to take spending it with Him and we do this out of love not forced obedience and even when reminded and given to the children of Israel after being slaves in Egypt for 400 years having forgotten what was expected from the 10 Commandment law God asked them to REMEMBER the Sabbath day to keep it Holy. Reminding them that it was part of creation for in 6 days you should labor and do all your work but the 7th day is the Sabbath of the Lord Your God.

The Sabbath has always been a part of God's created week and is a memorial with Him requesting us to Remember to come set time apart and spend it in love with Him remembering He is the creator God that set that special time apart for us to rest in Him. The Sabbath does not save us just as the 10 Commandments don't save us it is only through the blood of Jesus we are saved by grace through faith and not of ourselves it is the Gift of God. The Sabbath is also a gift of time that we come to be and celebrate with God Remembering His creation of the world and His creation of us. The Sabbath is a time set apart to celebrate with our Creator God at His request for us to Remember.

Isaiah says and from one new moon until another and from one Sabbath to another all will come and worship before God and this will happen in the New Earth after sin and death is done away with. These are not my words but come from our Bibles that we read. It was God who said Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy. Not me I am just repeating what God asked and wrote with His own finger in stone along with the other 9 Commandments. The Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath. Jesus is Lord of the Sabbath His signature at the end of creation week.

Can anyone tell me in the almost 6,000 years of the bible and new testament church, when has God rested. I meant Jesus healed on the Sabbath, The Sabbath was made for man and not man for the Sabbath. The Cross of Christ is our Sabbath, it is the only way to have rest from the burden of sin.

Daniyl 7:25, "And he will speak great words against Yahweh, and will wear out; mentally attack to cause to fall away, the saints of Yahweh, and think to change times and Laws..."

Matt 24:20, "But pray that your flight will not be in the winter, nor on the Sabbath Day, For then will be great tribulation, such as has not come to pass since the beginning of the world to this time--no, nor ever will be."

Also you will not find keeping the Sabbath repeated in the NT. Not as a part of the commandments that were repeated and there is a reason for that. The same reason that Jesus did not give a specific time or date for having communion. Because He knew that people would place there faith in their own work of keeping communion and not in the cross and the same thing is happening with the Sabbath day.

The real rest is this:

Yes keep the law, You will find the law in Romans and there are three. The law of sin, the law of Christ and the law of the Spirit. These are the laws and commandments that the NT Apostles are talking about. The number 3 HHMM?

Tell me Hiz what does the law tell us not to do? Are not these laws of flesh, I meant like telling a five year old aren't they simple and you would think an easy thing, but somehow they are not. Know consider the teachings of Jesus.

How is that possible, I meant you see a fine, pretty girl and you are aroused and thinking. Well you did not break the law, but broke the God's morality.

Moses kept the Sabbath. Abraham kept the Sabbath. David kept the Sabbath. The Sabbaths are what Pharoah would not let the Hebrews take, which was his undoing. What Bible are you reading? EVERY one of the OT saints kept the Sabbath. In your Bible, does your god make commandments and then reward the people who break them? Does he give commandments and then rescind them? How can you trust his promises if his word is not good? I don't think I like your god very much if those are the parts of his character.

SINCE breaking just one law, yes, just one sin, the penalty is DEATH, what was there to do ?

Even those who Love God could not be saved according to the law.

after all, it is God's Word that says "THE PENALTY FOR SIN IS DEATH". (and everyone sins).

God could not simply break the law Himself, nor change the law.

And He never did. He never intended to. He didn't have to, to save souls to Himself, to heaven......

He could give souls a Way to heaven, even though they could not keep the Law..... and He ALWAYS KNEW THIS.

and God did give souls a Way to heaven, through JESUS. through trusting faith relying on HIM.

Like the judge who paid the $200 fine out of his own pocket for the red light runner.

the crucifixion of JESUS was planned before the creation. God knew how evil men would become with free will.
How selfish. How cruel. How stupid and blind and senseless without knowledge.(mankind is so extremely evil, God used a FLOOD ONCE to wipe out the evil, and FIRE NEXT TO DESTROY ALL THAT IS CARNAL).....

no other history or future is so devastating as the CRUCIFIXION. (once, ONCE, ONLY ONCE FOR ALL TIME).(so those who crucify anew the Lord Jesus , trampling under foot the blood of the LAMB of God again daily, have no more hope to be saved again........ ..... .... )

Christ Crucified. the MESSAGE from God to men. the GOOD NEWS!!!
