A few years ago guns were no problem, but now they are, reckon why? For 100 of years it was B.C. and A.D. meaning before Christ and The year of our Lord. But Science has so detested God that now it is B.C.E. and C.E. meaning before the common era and the common era and is why Science can't find their left arm because of the right one.

All joking aside, we have a larger population with more media access. This is why we hear of more atrocities. Crime, all in all, is going down.

We used to have the ten commandments posted in our court houses and now there is no justice, reckon why?

Most of the 10 commandments weren't laws, so it literally doesn't make a difference unless you're suggesting the mere presence of a monument had an effect.

But, since America has said we don't need God, unemployment is at it's highest and we couldn't win a war no matter how hard we tried even with all of our technology. Why? because we as a nation have rejected God and you are a part of that.

There are real reasons behind the problems we face today. And no, none of these reasons stem from rejecting God. These reasons range from conservative Christians getting us caught up in pointless wars since WWII (the last war the U.S. ever declared - the last constitutional war), to poor liberal policies that lead to government dependence which turned thriving cities such as Detroit into a total mess (granted, Detroit thrived due to government spending but that was just a bubble). Violence is actually on a decline overall, but we hear of more crimes due to more media availability.

And guess what has always been going up? Government power. This happened during the God fearing years and it's happening now.

Thankyou for causing the failure of America. and when our daughters sacrifice their children to Molech, Destruction is the next page.

Blaming failures on people not believing in God instead of the actual actions that cause the failures is the reason we're in such a mess. We have all these problems that need fixed and people like you keep thinking the solution is "praise God!" No, the solutions vary from creating a government that doesn't recklessly waste money, an economy that isn't flooded with laws that restrict the free-market, and other foolish non-religion related issues.

You also need to realize that if people want to worship God, they'll do so willingly. If they don't worship God, let them do what they want with their lives as long as they aren't harming others.

You should stand up and say, "You know what, if people want to get married to someone of the same sex, that's fine by me. It's a sin, it's wrong, but it's their choice not to worship God and to abide by God's rules. It's not up to me to force non-Christians to live according to God's will." Trust me, people were being mugged at night time when you were a child. There's less media attention. You also have to remember that certain areas change. Many small neighborhoods have grown and became poorer, attracting more crime. The reason for this tends to be economical and social. I'm not an expert but I can most definitely tell you it's not just because people stopped praying to God.

If the only way Christianity can thrive is through government forcing people to abide by Christianity, then it's most definitely a false religion since a true religion could stand on its own merits. America once had the most secular government in any developed nation, and Christianity thrived. But as more and more people kept forcing religion into our government, Christianity began to die out.

If you support religious freedom, then you can not say yes to any of the above 3 questions. If you do support religious freedom and you believe the mentioned things are wrong, but shouldn't be illegal, then you're contradicting your own argument against gay marriage.

What I was saying is that we as Christians are not to place mans rights over God's laws. I do believe people have the right to live however they want, however we as Christians are not to support things that God says is wrong. So if you don't vote no on gay marriage, I hope and pray that you would not be voting at all. False dichotomy. It's because people have become paranoid due to terrorist attacks and the new wave of crimes resulting from new technology. The government is taking advantage of people's fears. This isn't anything new.

That's perfectly fine. You can let gays get married without supporting gay marriage.

I find religious to be pointless and often counter productive. I do not approve of Christianity, but I perfectly accept people's right to practice Christianity. You don't have to ban everything you disagree with.

So if you don't vote no on gay marriage, I hope and pray that you would not be voting at all. Because like I said if you vote yes they can get married, then the bible says that makes you just as guilty in that sin.

Then don't vote. Because if you vote "No" to allowing gays to wed, then you're forcing your religion on other people whether you want to admit it or not. It also means you're letting the government represent your religious views - and as I said before, that's dangerous for everyone as well as the religion itself!

I agree with this. If churches don't want to wed gays, they shouldn't have to. If businesses don't want to serve gays, they shouldn't have to. If you don't want to hire gays, you shouldn't have to. But expect the same rules to apply to Christians and/or those who don't support gay rights. If people don't want to serve or hire those who oppose homosexuality, they should have that right.
