Being single only means that one has not met the love of his or her life. Some people NEVER meet the love of his or her life, especially these days. It doesn't matter if you are physically attractive, beautiful or even gorgeous. It doesn't matter if you are highly intelligent or very wise. It doesn't matter if you are extremely talented. It doesn't matter if you are highly educated, debt free, have your own home, or are financially responsible. Still you may NEVER meet the love of your life. So why not put Jesus first? We can't manufacture love, it is either you love someone or you don't. Most people settle in life; therefore, marriages in a "settling case" generally ends in divorce. A lot of people are together because he or she can tolerate the other person's lifestyle or behaviors; however, this isn't love and can end in a mutual disrespect for one another. People get bored with one another or just simply don't like the behaviors of another individual. I have found that if you just focus on yourself and your OWN walk with God, a person WILL realize that none of the semantics matter. But what does matter is how a person can get closer to God. A partner, significant other, or even a husband and wife WILL let you down at some point but God CAN NEVER let us down. He has promised to NEVER leave us or forsake us. Sometimes when people forsake us, it is because God allowed it to be, to make us understand that nobody is perfect except for him. Ultimately when we die, we die alone ..meaning it is just God and the individual. So remember when you are single that you are not alone. God is just a whisper away.
May God Bless each Christian who is single, in a relationship (good or bad), or just struggling. God cares, do you care?
