Then perhaps I do not understand what exactly it is that you are having trouble with in post #72.
why do you think I am having trouble...you see three where there is two and say equal is different ....and I am the one having trouble?

LOL. Equal only relates to intrinsic nature not function. Separate in function does not suggest inequality.
how so? because you say so? you are the one who says equal does not relate to function ...arms and legs are limbs they are related but not equal...even though they are limbs....how can they be equal in relation to nature but not in function and still be called equal?...
if you have three glasses, one for reading, one for seeing objects that are far, and one for seeing objects that are near....would you consider them all equal?
The different pair of glasses are equal in nature. All three possess the same characteristics. They are all made of metal, all three have glass lenses all three have earpieces and nose bridges and all three are of the same intrinsic value. They are not however equal in function. They each perform different tasks. On is pair is for up-close work, one pair is for seeing at a distance and one pair is tinted to protect my eyes against the sun but they are all glasses.
Above him were seraphim, each with six wings:
With two wings they covered their faces,
with two they covered their feet,
and with two they were flying.
(Isaiah 6:2)
one seraphim - three pairs of wings - all equally, intrinsically "wings" - each with one of three functions
Was Adam and Eve equal ? Is a husband and wife equal ? Why or Why not ?This is Yahshua (Jesus) speaking:
John (Yahchanan) 14:28, "You have heard that I told you: I go away, but come again to you. If you loved Me, you would have rejoiced that I am going to the Father, for the Father is greater than I."
John 5:18 - "For this cause therefore the Jews were seeking all the more to kill Him, because He not only was breaking the Sabbath, but also was calling God His own Father, making Himself equal with God."
Did He break the Sabbath, or was this the pharisees falsely accusing Him? and if He break the Sabbath how is He the spotless Lamb?
No He did not break the Sabbath:
Matt 12:12, "And how much more valuable is a man than a sheep? Therefore, it isLawful to do righteousness on the Sabbath."
So we can see the accusation of Him "breaking the Sabbath" was false, was the other accusation also false "making Himself equal with God"?
Why did Paul repeat this accusation of the Pharisees when the Savior Himself said, "for the Father is greater than I"
This is Paul speaking:
Philippians 2:6, "Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God."
John (Yahchanan) 14:28, "...for the Father is greater than I."
Did Paul, an ex-pharisee, have error when he said this, as the Savior Himself says the exact opposite....
And since Paul is in direct opposition to what Yahshua (Jesus) says How do we reconcile this?
Is Yahweh higher than Yahshua?
or
Is Yahshua equal to Yahweh?
Who should we obey if there seems to be a dicrepancy? Yahshua (Jesus) or Paul?
Deuteronomy 18:18-19, "I will raise up for them a Prophet like you from among their brothers, and I will put My words in His mouth, and He will tell them everything I command Him. Whoever will not listen to My words, which He speaks in My Name, I will judge him for it"
"listen" is word #8085 שָׁמַע shama` {shaw-mah'}
Brown-Driver-Briggs (Old Testament Hebrew-English Lexicon)
A primitive root; to hear intelligently (often with implication of attention, obedience, etc.; causatively to tell, etc.)
Hebrew Word Study (Transliteration-Pronunciation Etymology & Grammar) - 1) to hear, listen to, obey
John 5:24, "Most certainly I tell you, he who hears my word, and believes him who sent me, has eternal life, and doesn't come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life."
John 12:48, "He who rejects Me, and does not follow My words has One Who judges him. The word that I have spoken, the same will be used to judge him in the last day."
Im not attacking Paul, but Paul was a ex-pharisee who had an extremely high level of education. But why was this warning given?
2 peter 3:15-17, "And count the patience of our Lord as salvation, just as our beloved brother Paulalso wrote to you according to the wisdom given him, as he does in all his letters when he speaks in them of these matters. There are some things in them that are hard to understand, which the ignorant and unstable twist to their own destruction, as they do the other Scriptures. You therefore, beloved, knowing this beforehand, take care that you are not carried away with the error of lawless people and lose your own stability."
Water can be solid, liquid or gas could you say which is greater or are they equal ?you say they are equal because they are all wings.....that is like saying a $5,$10,$20 are equal because they are all paper...my $1s for your $20 s
[FONT=Times New Roman, serif]and by reason of their different functions do you still consider them equal because they are all glasses? since they are equal can you replace one with another if one is broken? no so how are they equal.....you are misusing the term equal to suit your own doctrine...
in your understanding...son=father=spirit...
show how they each have the same characteristics and equal in nature...
equal
adjective \ˈē-kwəl\ : the same in number, amount, degree, rank, or quality
: having the same mathematical value
: not changing : the same for each person
Scripture reveals God operating in three distinct functions. These three distinct functions involve intelligent design, active cause, and organization. What I am trying to get you to understand is that each member operates according to his respective functional position within the triadic unity. I use the idea of position simply to show the functional relationship that each appears to have with the others and to define the role that each has within the triadic structure. The First Position will always appear as the one who represents the idea or the planning. It is also the position of command. The Second Position will always be the avenue of communication between the two worlds as well as the causative agent. He will be the one who gives substance to the idea. He takes what is abstract (the idea) and gives it form and substance. The Third Position will always serve as the linking agent. He is the one who brings order to the work of the Second Position. He organizes the work of the Second Position so that it conforms exactly to the idea of the First Position. He shapes a finished product.
These positional functions of each appear to be exclusive. In all of my studies in scripture, I find it quite interesting that I have been unable to find a single textual example where one member of the Triadic Unity is seen operating in the function of another member. For example, we never seem to find the Third Position functioning as the active cause or the Second Position functioning as the linking agent. Each member of the triadic unity always appears to function within the parameters of his exclusive dynamic. There are places where some of these may appear to overlap but this does not change the basic parameters of positional function. The Phil 2 text tells us that Jesus possessed a nature of equality with God of which e emptied himself for a time. This is a functional behavior that corresponds to his functional position within that uity.

scripture reveals ....the word of God is responsible for all creation....the word was made flesh...these three verses contain all creation...where is your triad???

Is God the Father referred to as Lord ? Why or Why not ?Now scripture is explicit in these verses....there is one God the Father...do you agree? and one Lord Jesus Christ...do you agree...
look carefully you will see all things of and by them both and no other...do you have another definition of ALL?...or do you see a third party...?
if for some reason you have problems understanding.....Paul explains why in vs 7
1 Corinthians 8:5-7King James Version (KJV)
[SUP]5 [/SUP]For though there be that are called gods, whether in heaven or in earth, (as there be gods many, and lords many,)
[SUP]6 [/SUP]But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.
