East of the Tigris and Euphrates, It's not in Africa, or present day Ethiopia, it's the land of Midian where Moses got his wife, a Cu****e living in that area - Zipporah.
Who was a Cu****e (of Ham) and a Midianite (Shem). so you believe that the burning bush was in Mesopotamia?
Are you sure that Cush isn't in America? After all cush is a potent kind of mj.And that's from America.

Midian was a descendant of Abraham from Keturah, Abraham and Keturah were not Negroid, and the area which the Midianites were dwelling and where Moses fled to was east of the Tigris and Euphrates, which would be Joktan area, so Zipporah must have been a Shemite, but the geographical land was originally identified with Cush, it would have been part of babylon and the kingdom of Cush and Nimrod, which would be present day Arabia.

So Moses' wife was a Shemite descended from Abraham but not an Israelite, this may have been Miriam's conjecture hence the sedition.

I'm not going to read thru all this because it makes me too angry, I just want to say I'm really really offended by the idea that interracial marriage is unbiblical. To defend that idea using the bible is simply despicable. The whole concept of different races is unbiblical to begin with. We are created as one race: the human race, and that's that. Yes there are differences between different people groups, but to say that I can marry someone with brown eyes but that I can't marry someone with a brown skin is just arbitrary.
I wholeheartedly agree, Markus.

As long as we marry a Christian, I think that all is good.

Truth is freedom, I told you the truth, did I not? If you work through it, you can see that my answer is correct, Moses' wife was a descendant of Abraham.

Well Cup, you certainly make sure we are not bored. sometimes I am slighly embarrassed that you are Australian.

I will clarify a bit.

Ham and his wife were ancestors of black and yellow races.
Shem and his wife were ancestors of brown middle eastern races.
Japheth and his wife were ancestors of white races. (Cup's assertion that Moses et al were white is incorrect)

From this we can determine that....
Mrs Japheth was white.
Mrs Shem was brown.
Mrs Ham was either black or yellow.
Ham was either yellow or black.
Ham looked like his mum Mrs Noah.

Genetic diversity is always a good thing.

Cup, from all your posts, it looks like you care more about being correct than anything else. There is nothing wrong with seeking the truth and wanting others to know it. However, the way you go about it looks like you want others to see your truth for your glory, not God's truth for God's glory. What good does it do you to offer someone the truth but give it to them with arrogance and haughtiness? You may have given them the Truth but you served it to them on an ugly platter. Sometimes your comments offer more insult, hard feelings, resentment, anger, and bitterness, and stubborness than they do truth, enlightenment, and love. I respect that you want people to see what you see as being true, but until you figure out how to work with people instead of against them, all you are doing is breeding futility and causing dissonance among your brothers and sisters (something we were warned against doing).

Please, preach the Good News, spread the Truth, but make sure you are doing it for God's glory, and not for your own. If you want to be understood, perhaps try to show a bit of understanding.

Moses' wife was a Shemite, descended from Abraham who came from the land of Midian, east of Mesopotamia....Do you have a problem with those Biblical facts? Would you like to deny them like most pretend christians and claim that Moses' wife was a black woman from Africa, because thats the common concensus, you will be far more popular if you just go along with the lukewarm common majority with the lies, instead of standing for Biblical truth, when you stand up for truth, you will most likely find yourself alone, but God will be with you, I would rather God on my side then the general majority of pretenders.

You sound like a Pharisee. You know the law to the letter, and yet you miss the point completely.

I'm not questioning your knowledge of truth and lies. I really don't care what color Mose's wife was because it's not necessary for my salvation. I'm challenging your motives and your presentation of the Truth, not your understanding of the Truth.

I didn't say anything about your salvation, that is between you and God, i'm just giving the correct account of Moses and his wife Zipporah, surely they deserve truth and not lies.

I'm far from finished, but the rest will be in my prayers for you. If you can't look at a single thing I've written without actually seeing what I've said to you, then all I can do is pray that God will help you understand what I'm trying to convey.

Love one another with brotherly affection [as members of one family], giving precedence and showing honor to one another.
Romans 12: 10

"Knowledge puffs up, but love builds up."
1 Corinthians 8:1b

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy,
it does not boast, it is not proud.
It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered,
it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails.

Proverbs 24:17 Do not rejoice when your enemy falls, and let not your heart be glad when he stumbles

Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen."

"But whosoever keepeth His word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in Him." John 2:5

and what is love?

"God is love", "For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments."

Love, kindness, respect, and encouragement are NOT mutually exclusive to keeping the commandments and spreading the word...in fact, what I've been trying to get at is that perhaps you should combine the two ideas!
