Well, if you are saying is not important, I´m ok but, the time I was with several of your country, at lunch time, i learned the expression "pulling the leg" and, the man who told it, made me feel uncomfortable. He said: "Are you pulling me the leg?..." and I got confused, till the moment i said: "I´m not pulling you the leg" (showing up my hands, out from the table we sad).

:)
Hahaha "pulling your leg" means someone is joking with you or teasing you. "Git" is difficult to describe really it means person but it's kind of slang. It's not bad. :)

I hope it wasn't me. I'm not super computer saavy and could hit something entirely by mistake.

I will be perfectly blunt: if it were a young lady who doesn't realize how the names work gender wise and only saw a picture of your son there then they may have thought you were the young man. And then when they realized they had erred, they unfriended. If it were a guy, I have no idea.

It was a guy and it was a different pic at the time. It doesn't matter, I'm not bothered about it - I was just puzzled. Actually someone brought to my attention today that this sometimes acts-up so it may have been an unintentional thing.

There's a lot of immaturity with friends lists, people friend you, then unfriend you, childish stuff, want to pee, dont want to pee... it's really getting on my nerves. Like nothing changed from teenage days till now. The same old stupid stuff.
One day when I get enough of it I'll just remove everybody and build a castle around my profile.
I can add that some have legitimate reasons about what they do with their lists but mostly a childish display, yeah.

Someone once told me a very deep truth --- "You Don't Lose a FRIEND". In other words - no matter what, a friend will never leave you.

We don't like people over forums just because they agree with all we say or we agree with all they say ... but just because we're all Family --- for Pete's sake [whoever Pete is?].

I think we should all be Friends. I love love and even getting really angry at people that I love doesn't change the fact that I still love them. We many only agree on one thing - but love is serparate than agreeing. It's an entity all it's own.

ParrotMom - everyone should befriend you and though I too think this whole deal is foolishness in The Body of Christ -- I still think we're to actually LOVE EVERYONE ON HERE - even the atheists that are mean to us -- as He said, even our enemies - for goodness sakes.

Hugs and Love to you, Mum!!!

I love to make friends and my friend number goes up and down, not because I am deleting them, I only delete banned people, so if the number goes down someone decided I must be unfriend worthy I suppose. It's o.k. I don't get upset about it as new people join everyday and there are still around 8 billion people on the planet so I guess one or two of them will end up being my friend.

Truly I do like making CC friends and it is my only trolling problem I have in that I admittedly troll for friends. Making as many friend requests as possible. If you aren't my friend now at some point you will probably get a friend request as you are a friend I just haven't met yet.

Why not confuse them who unfriend you? Immediately send them a friend request.

Let's say they could have sent them to the "Ignore List". That's segregationist, though: "If you are not like me" "If you are not like I thought you were" you will be immediatelly unfriended, sent to the trash can, as if friedship wasn't an act of acceptance, same way love is.

God!

How peeky and cheeky WE are on line!

No wonder many are real loners and friends of few, their hometown.

:P

The thing I like most of friendship it is I can look at people's faces. They stand still and, if I said anything they liked or disliked, I could read their body expressions, their reactions and -here- it only could be a single "like" or a complex public disapproval.

Why would someone add you as a friend, message you to thank you for accepting and then swiftly unfriend you? What's that all about? Puzzled!
Hey, several people on here consistently make sure I know I'm a sinner, and headed straight for Hell. Being unfriended is a breeze. LOL

This gal really does. She was the first person who sent me a friend request. I thought it was possibly that I was so remarkable in my postings - little did I know that she just befriends anyone.

Yet, JesusLives is a good one to know!

I've been unfriended by a few people who were in a "mood." Both here and on FB. Then a few days later, they asked me to be a friend again.

I just assume it is not my fault. People have their reasons, but not always rational! LOL. I guess what we have to do is forgive them when they unfriend us. And maybe they will friend us back.

I also unfriend most banned people. I confess, last week I was "unfollowing" a lot of my FB friends. I was really tired with the extreme left wing and extreme right wing American posts. If people want to discuss American politics, they need to go to forums designed for that purpose. Because I am aware of the left and right in the US, but it does not dominate my life.

As for Canadian politics, it was boring till Alberta started raising taxes the other day and called an election I can't vote in. I guess being born and raised their makes it interesting to me.

I do appreciate people that post the Bible or good solid articles on the Bible. Here or elsewhere. I hope you have recovered by now, MPW. I see this post is from a few months ago.

i wouldn't worry too much about it either.

i will pretty much accept every friend request i get, but do confess that i often un-friend people for a pretty simple reason -- they post a ton and their posts obscure and eclipse most of the friends' posts.

now, i don't mind the "posting a ton" if they are posting things i enjoy reading about. but if they post a ton about things i prefer to skip, generally my unfriending isn't personal. it's purely for the benefit of my reading and convenience.

...I think, I might be wrong though, that I actually sent a friend request to JL because I really liked what she wrote about. She was one of my first friends on here. Now does that give me Chuck Norris status or something because I sent her the request first lol, kinda one of these "in soviet russia" things ;)

Ofc that was a joke, I'm just picking on JL a little... :p I admire her for being so bold.
I love friending people but I'm always afraid of coming across as uninvited or unwelcome... so I'm usually restraining myself regarding friend requests I often dont send even when I want to. That's not the Gospel so I believe God has no problem with that and that I have freedom there, but yeah I sometimes wish I felt more comfortable among people.
