Maybe they're killing other Muslims, but that's not their main focus at all. The persecution of Christians is. There are plenty of ministries that speak about the extent of the persecution of Christians. Barnabas Fund is one of them.

Who was this post directed at? I don't think 150 million Christians being persecuted by Muslims is anything to sneeze at.

dude when 1/5 of a village is wiped out in a third world county the media is going to say whatever the rebels want them to say.

I misread. I thought you were claiming sharia law already existed in the U.S. I've actually heard people make this claim and I suppose that's what my mind concluded.

And as far a some so called moderate Muslims speaking out against violence, well talk is cheap. If they are truly against the violence why don't they mobilize their armies to combat the problem?

Probably because they want to focus on living their own life. I haven't joined any counter movements to the Ferguson protests, despite my opposition to the protesters. I'm sure there are a lot of movements you decided to talk about rather than rally with.

Regardless, an example of Muslims fighting against the IS are the Kurds (granted, not all Kurds are Muslim, most are).

Hmm... Maybe the majority of Muslims in the Western World are fairly peaceful etc. but who then are all the Muslims persecuting (torturing, raping, killing etc) the millions upon millions of Christians in other countries? They're certainly not peaceful! It's not only the extremists that are the problem here.

You're acting like these Muslims are primarily concerned with Christians. They aren't. They're concerned with everyone who challenges their religion. Imagine if someone invaded your country and they said, "They're invading all the blacks! It's a war against dark skinned people!", despite the fact everyone is being invaded regardless of skin color. That's how your statement comes off.

I gather from this you value non believers lives less then ours. I'm sympathetic to every death ever second of every day. Each one of them has a soul with an eternal destination.

I don't think so. It's anyone the doesn't agree with them.
Here are a few examples from the report to give you an idea of the way ISIS has methodically slaughtered Muslims:
-On September 5, ISIS executed three Sunni women in Mosul. What was their “crime”? They refused to provide medical care to ISIS fighters.
- On September 9, ISIS executed a Sunni Imam in western Mosul for refusing to swear loyalty to ISIS.
- On August 2, a man from the Salah ad Din province was abducted and beheaded for refusing to swear allegiance to ISIS.
-On August 19, a female Muslim doctor south of Mosul was killed for organizing a protest to object to ISIS’ mandate that female doctors cover their faces with religious veils when treating patients
-On August 31, 19 Sunni Muslim men were executed in Saadiya for refusing to swear allegiance to ISIS.
-On July 22, a Sunni Imam in Eastern Baquba was killed for simply denouncing ISIS.
-On September 9, ISIS executed two Muslim women by shooting them in the back of the head. Their exact “crime” was not known.
 
I think this is a great topic. I wish that more people would take the time to study this and take it seriously; not from a fear standpoint, but in preparation.

For years I have met opposition from Christians on this subject; not the world people... but CHRISTIANS. Those that are supposed to be studying to show themselves approved. Those that supposed to be "watching and praying".

There is nothing new under the sun. The same thing happened in World War II. Did you know that there were children of God warning people what was coming? Did you know that VERY FEW listened to them? Did you know that MOST Christians didn't take it seriously but blew it off? Imagine their shock when it happened.

I'm not really sure why we have given them a new name as Isis. Fact is, Islam has functioned the same way since its first conquest. So with that being said, I refuse to argue with anyone in denial of what they are doing. Remain blind if that is your determination. And if that is your decision, it will all come upon you swiftly and suddenly just as it did for those in the time of World War II. Yes, there will be much weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Isn't it ironic that Isis is a remnant of the first beast which we are warned of in Revelations? Isn't it also interesting that Islam is the only religion that exists today that still worships the image of the first beast... the black stone? Did you know that the black stone is mentioned in Acts 19? It was located there before Arabia's conquest of Rome. The prophet Daniel said that an army from the north would come and take the idols from Egypt. Rome/Greece conquered Egypt and took the black stone that represented Isis. From there it became the symbol of gods of Greece and Rome and thus is mentioned in Acts 19.

The original name of Allah was Allat. She was a goddess being worshipped in Arabia at the time of Muhammad's conquest. She was taken from Rome's version of the goddess Isis. Isis was the first incarnation of the "mother of all gods". She was called Ishtar by the Greeks and was titled "the courtesan [harlot] of the gods".

Where did Isis originate? Egyptian worship of the wife of Nimrod, Semiramis. That's right, Babylon!

She is the mother of all abominations, the harlot, mystery Babylon. (Revelations 17) From her has come all pagan and idol worship. And here she is today disguised with a man's name, Allah.

Scripture tells us that any spirit that confesses not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of the antichrist spirit. This is the very essence of Islam since the unforgivable sin is to say that Jesus is/was the son of God. The very essence of Islam is antichrist.

The description of the Mahdi in the Quaran is an exact duplicate of the man of perdition in scripture. Islam demands its followers worship the image of the first beast, the meteorite of Isis, and the Quaran claims that the stone will be able to speak on the day of judgement just like it says in Revelation 13.

There is so much more solid evidence but this post is probably already lengthy enough that most people won't bother reading it. If you have read this far, look into what I have said. You can see for yourself.
 
Just to point out that Sunni Muslims see Shia as infidels and vice versa and not true Muslims so are fair game along with the other non-muslims.

Western media it is safe to report on just the Sunni v Shia issue, but of course they will refuse to see this as Islamic expansionism. They refused to report this about the ethnic cleansing of non-muslims in what is now North Sudan over many years.

Tens of Thousands of Christians would have been slaughtered by the Isalmic State, but they chose to leave instead, whole towns were emptied of the population. For first time in 1600 years there was no Christian service in Nineveh.

I don't know how much of what you said here is factual but it's very interesting. That said the connections to Nimrod and Semiramis are tenuous at best (the two lived at very different time periods and she was never his wife or 'mother'). The Two Babylons isn't good scholarship. Very little from that book is true. Nimrod probably instigated the first worship of pagan gods, at least at a corporate level, but that's about it. The Bible doesn't tell us much, nor do reliable historical documents.

I'm quoting retired U.S. Army Col. Ralph Peters from Fox News both last night on O'Reilly and this morning on F&F. It's not going to be popular, but I really don't care. First, in my own words, I will say that we have to stop separating Islam from Islamist terrorists. Yes, I know that there are millions of peaceful Muslims in the world. However, radical Islamists come from Islam, which is not a "god-inspired faith" but something much more sinister.

It is the antithesis of Christianity. It's words are not inspired, there are multiple interpretations of the Qur'an, and we have no way of knowing what a "proper translation" of the "prophet" whose life included assassinations, rape, and child molestation. Some "prophet." Let the peaceful celebrants of Islam remain peaceful, but let the radical terrorists die in the tracks. They are like "The Terminator." They don't stop unless you kill them. So be it.

Now, as to what Col. Peters said regarding how to fight Islamist terrorists.

1. We need to realize we are at war. It is not a limited war, an insurgency, a regional flare-up. It is a world war in which the enemy has but one goal: The total destruction of Western Culture, and it matters not one whit whether you favor "tolerance" of them or not. When they confront you with "Convert or die!" you will do one or the other, on the spot.

2. Call the enemy what they are: Islamist terrorists. Not "extremists," not "radicals," not just "terrorists." They are Islamist terrorists. Period.

3. Get the lawyers off the battlefield and out of the target zone. "Rules of engagement" in this war are useless. The enemy, Islamist terrorists, have no such compunctions. They kill indiscriminately. We have to respond in kind.

4. Accept that there will be collateral damage and do not apologize for it. I don't care if that sounds harsh. War is harsh. Islamist terrorists don't care about collateral damage, and "not sinking to their level" is no excuse for losing to them, and we are losing to them.

5. Don't fight for dirt. We aren't trying to fight World War II. We are trying to eradicate evil, and we must be prepared to go wherever that evil rears it's ugly head.

6. When you find them, you kill them, with extreme prejudice, and you leave smoking ruins and weeping widows behind.

7. If their brothers, sons, daughters reconstitute in three, five, or ten years, you go back and you kill them, too.

8. NEVER, EVER, send combat troops anywhere you do not intend to win!

Like I said, it's going to be unpopular, it's going to draw a lot of ire toward me. As a 20-year U.S. Army helicopter pilot and combat officer, I really don't care. I'm tired of wishy-washy politicians too cowardly to do what must be done.

The thing is you failing to realize what dj is getting at Muslim extremist don't care what religion you are go look at all the countries in Africa it don't matter what religion you are if you don't follow what they follow your as good as dead pretty much. Though the issue is when people speak on it they tend to speak on it in a generalized way as Muslims are only attacking Christians and we all know that isn't the only ones being targeted pretty much anyone who does not follow their Allah is a infidel to them.

To make matters worse, these people are pretending it's a war against Christianity as if Christians are the prime target. They're not.

9/11, the Boston Bombing, this recent terrorist attack, do you notice a pattern? These terrorists aren't discriminating against Christians. They're discriminating against Americans as a whole. They're discriminating against the French. They're discriminating against all those who portray their prophet. Yet I see people talking about how this is a "Christian" problem as if Christians are the primary targets.

First, Thank you for your service.

Second, This is not what Christ has called us to. He called us to be ready to die for Him, like Stephen, Paul, Peter, James, Thaddeus, Andrew, Thomas, etc. We aren't fighting flesh and blood, but powers and dominions. The Muslim is not inhuman, and he is not beyond the reach of Christ. Like the Romans who slaughtered us, as the Muslims rise to kill Christians, more and more of them will convert and come to know Christ. I don't care about elected officials or American politics. I look to my King.

I did read it all the way through.I like to investigate history and religion among others things.I dont know how I missed all this info.Scratched the surface but didnt know all of this.Thanks for sharing.I want to look into it further.
