The theory of evolution is a complete joke and anyone who believes in it should ask themselves a few questions. What is more complex, a human body or a new car? Does anyone see new cars spontaneously developing on their own? It would be far easier for inorganic material to randomly come together and form a car than it would be for organic compounds to come together and form life. All the science in the world cannot create life and they have tried yet we are to believe it happened on its own? If science were to some day create a very basic life form, it would only prove that it took intelligence and a designer.

Yes, and the word "god" is also used to describe to describe many other deities that are worshiped. As a matter of fact, the word Allah was used by pre-Islamic pagan Arabians to describe a creator god which had associates and companions; not the form of Allah as later changed by Islam to be a deity without associates and companions.
I once met a woman that told me a story about a person she met that invited her to church. She asked the person what they did at that church and the person responded by saying, "We worship god." So she went only to later find out that it was a Satanic church. They call Satan god. So you see, placing the name god on something/someone does not mean that it is the same as the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. God said to serve no gods before him. God did not say that there are not other gods, he said not to serve them above him. So who is this God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob? Who is he that sent his only begotten son, Jesus Christ, that whomever would believe on him should not perish but have every lasting life? It is obvious that it is not the same god of Islam.
Who was it that was to inherit the promise of God? Ishmael or Isaac? Yes, it is true that Ishmael was born first but the promise was made to Abraham AND Sarah that THEIR firstborn was to be the heir.
Do you see how deceptive the work of Satan is? To take a few minor details and twist them to trick the people.
I tell you the truth, even the pope of the Catholics will receive the Mahdi as the Christ and make himself to be the false prophet whom you have heard of. When a raiding party from Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant attacked a Saudi border post last week, it was no mere hit on a desert outpost.
The jihadists were launching an assault on the new, highest profile effort by Saudi Arabia to insulate itself from the chaos engulfing its neighbours.
The Saudis are building a 600-mile-long “Great Wall” - a combined fence and ditch - to separates the country from Iraq to the north.
Much of the area on the Iraqi side is now controlled by Isil, which regards the ultimate capture of Saudi Arabia, home to the “Two Holy Mosques” of Mecca and Medina, as a key goal.

The Abrahamic religions all begin with the Torah and the God therein. That's why the words for 'God' in Aramaic, Syriac and Arabic all sound very similar; they come from similar root languages, root words and of course the ideas within the Torah. Daniel, Ezra, and a few other places were originally written in Aramaic. The language was then, in the Middle East, the equivalent of what English is now -- a language of international communication. The language was spoken by the Jews for centuries and Jesus himself spoke it.
The connection between Arabic, Syrian, Syriac and Aramaic is quite clear, as they are very similar languages.
The word itself means ''God'', and sounds very similar in any of these four langauges. Whether the God of any Aramaic, Arabic, Syrian or Syriac speaker is the same God as the Christian God is irrelevent to the fact that the word sounds almost exactly the same and means exactly the same thing; ''God''.
You can't distinguish the religion of the believer who speaks these languages by their use of the word in their own language. An Aramaic speaking Christian would call God ''H'llah', while an Arabic speaking Christian will call God ''Allah'', and a Syriac speaker will call God ''Alaha''. A Spanish person calls the Christian God ''Dios'', a Portugeuese person calls him ''Deus''. They are very similar words denoting exactly the same thing, as the languages share a common root.

I wish more "liberals" (who aren't liberal at all when it comes to respecting the human rights of Christians under natural law to a normative moral conscience) would visit Saudi Arabia and make their views known there.

Well, just know in west europe the fear is growing. And then you can listen to muslims in our media, who saying that islam is a peaceful religion. And the Koran says not to kill anybody. In my mind comes up the thought that there must be two different Korans in the world. We have now movements in germany against the islamic radicals. But this movements are sadly an instrument from the rights. I have frinds in india and also there is it getting harder for the christians because of the political pover over the radical hindus which want to have an pure Hindustan. How ever from the bibel we must realize, that the time of the antichrist is coming nearer and nearer. Lets have our focus on Jesus! We cant stop what should come.

Hey Wolf your right on the front line for the west and your actually living with that here in the US are only talking about. But your thinking is absolutely correct, there are two korans.

Anyways there he didn't hav much power so he had to blend in peacefully with his Jewish an Bedouin and Christian counterparts. That's where you will find the more lets get along, but let's be separate, kind of scriptures in the koran.
Second, The Medinan, this is when Mohammed straight up came into medina as a full on warlord after conquering the diverse Bedouin tribes and decimating any Jewish and Christian opposition. This is where you will find the, hunt them down and kill them or subjugate them, kind of scriptures.
The problem with the layout of the koran is that it is not chronological so these verses are strewn about the book with no timelines so it's impossible to decifpher what came first without the aid of a religious leader or imam. Also there is what's called abrogation as declared in the koran, which means any scripture that comes after a similar scripture, the new one takes effect. So much for an all knowing allah.
Now here's the stickler there is no canonized unified school of thought on how to properly teach the koran. I mean there is no one official entity that interprets the book.
