This is quite the change for you. Although it seems a bit deceptive since you qualify the Holy Spirits presence as in the word. You cannot fool God as He alone sees into your heart.
The bible disagrees with you in that only the Spiritual man can discern Spiritual things.
For the cause of Christ

The spiritual man of 1 Cor 2 is the one miraculously endowed by God to receive revelatory "words" from the Holy Spirit and wrote those words down so others can read and understand those 'words"
1 Cor 2:11 "For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God."
You do not know what another man is thinking unless that man reveals what he is thinking to you. Likewise you do not know what God is thinking unless God reveals what He is thinking to you.
1 Cor 2:12 "Now we (inspired apostles) have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God."
So inspired men, writers of the bible miraculously received the spirit of God.
1 Cor 2:13 "Which things also we (inspired writers/apostles) speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual."
So God revealed to man what He is thinking by these inspired writers ["spiritual men"] of the bible who received God's spirit so they could miraculously receive "words" from the Holy Spirit and write those words down for the rest of us who have not been miraculously inspired.
So there are no spiritual men today who have received the spirit of God in order to receive words from the Holy Spirit, we already have the complete, perfected word of God.
Col 3:16 "Let the word of Christ dwell in you..."
