We should be encouraged by anything that seems to fulfill prophecy, as it reminds us of the speeding of His Coming,
but to support it as "a good thing" is the wrong mentality.
This gathering of unbelieving Jews in the land of Israel is what brings about the time of the son of perdition, and the great persecution (tribulation).
The faster the end comes, the faster our Lord returns (by way of logic, not denying imminence or God's Soveriegn timing), but we need to be sure to be on the right side, lol.
We are not called to help gather Jews to Israel, but to gather souls to the Church. That is our role in "speeding His Coming".

Isn't this choice of words interesting? God says he will hiss for his people like a beekeeper hisses for his bees, to draw them into the hive. God is hissing for His people now, calling them until the last lost sheep is gathered.

Based on your last sentence, I'm pretty sure it was not a misunderstanding. This issue is, that these people are not Israel, nor are they Jews.. and certainly not God's chosen people. Romans 2, Revelation 2 and 3. The Bible tells us who is and isn't a Jew. Don't let the media define words and labels.
Satan will deceive many by such things. He will proclaim this gathering to be the gathering of Israel, when the truth is that this is the gathering of the Synogogue of Satan. Do not be sucked into it.

but accept that it is what it is, and that God's plan works through it, as it does in all things. We don't need to hinder it, but nor do we need to support it, but simply glorify God that He works all these things for His good purpose, and that He told us this would happen.

Its my opinion the neither side follows Yah because I read most Israelis are atheists, but none the less Hrbrews/Jews are Yah's chosen people we should attempt lead them to Yah IMO and He will do the rest.
I think the things "eluded" to are stemming from the fact that most of Israyls "leaders" are not actually Jewish but rather khazarians that converted to Talmud (Judaisim, which says in their "holy" book they listen to no voice from heaven) or are converts to kabbala which is, well probably even worse or equally as bad? The Israyli military looked into race specific bio-weapons in a deal with South America to get rid of the palastinians but the 30% or so with Jewish blood freaked out because the weapons would have also killed them.
So I think it is much deeper than things appear in the surface...
And I don't believe I am stepping out of mine in saying this because Yahshua (Jesus) Himself says:

I may have gone a bit too far, to the point of making a blanket condemnation.
There are many Believing Jews who also have gone to the land of Israel.
I was referring to the Jewish religion, the majority of those who label themselves as Jews, and to the Israeli government and societal leadership,
not to any and all people of Jewish decent, but only to the unbelieving.
