I do not know if anyone answered this yet, but what is the OSAS viewpoint on the words of Jesus saying that if you do not forgive, you will not be forgiven? So far, folks seemed to be avoiding this one. Why is that? If I missed the reply, then I apologize. But I really would love to know. I just can't see how you can twist the plain meaning of that verse.

thats funny, I already asked you how someone who had faith in Christ, And who was forgive by God and experienced his love would EVER not truly forgive someone else?

God said we love because God first loved us. So has anyone who is not forgiving ever experienced Gods love? I would say no.

People's activities are not published here at CC. But they will be at the Judgment. Anything that is hid will be revealed. Things do not always appear as you think. Remember, Jesus never condoned anyone to do evil. That is the problem I have with OSAS. It says nothing you can do can separate you from God. Yet, the Scriptures repeatedly tell us sin always separates us from God.
Yet Scripture tells us NOTHING CAN SEPARATE US FROM THE LOVE OF GOD.

I guess you ignore scripture. and your own sin.

why do you want to sound like th epharisee pumping your chest,that your like not the evil sinful osas believer. Instead of the tax collector on your knees every day.

Every day I wake up and I am not in Hell. it is a good day, because that is what I deserve!

There is a big difference between sins done in ignorance and sins done willfully. True Christians sin in ignorance (sin out of human weakness or unaware of what sin they do), it not the desire of a Christian to sin willfully (ongoing sinful action in which God clearly states as sin, but the person rationalizes to be ok, or just fine, example a homosexual "Christian" [in word only] but says his/her life style is acceptable).

ignorance is not an excuse for sin.... a man who did not see the red light is in danger of being ploughed over by cross traffic....same as the one who saw the light and went through on purpose....the scripture states all unrighteousness is sin not just those you knew that were unrighteous ...is there such a thing a a homosexual Christian??? God could not find one in Sodom and Gomorrah what makes you think he will find one in the world today???

I've heard people use the EXACT same verses to defend OSAS and come against OSAS...

Bottom line, we are BOUGHT with a price, we are NOT our own...

Once Christ owns you, He OWNS you...

The OP has virtually stated that his objective is to win the argument. In his mind nothing else matters. He is not seeking truth but victory at any price.

Truth is many when they are first saved doubt that God would save them by grace and not require some form of repayment. As one grows in the knowledge of Christ and the knowledge of Gods grace one can only rejoice yea exceedingly rejoice at what God has done for so wretched a soul as me.

The OP in the classic manner of such as he will persevere in this thread until he has sufficiently alienated those who honor Gods truth to declare victory. Much the same as the baptismal regenerationists. This type is not interested in the truth only that their isms be the victor.

We are admonished to beware of those who cause divisions and scatter the flock. Ours if we are of the Lord is to disciple and to admonish with love that we all grow together in Christ. We all need to grow and mature in Christ. We are never taught to demean others to make ourselves look good.

This stuff is refuted over and over again not for the sake of the OP but for the sake of those still in need of milk the sincere milk of the word of God whereby they may grow. Shame on those who would do harm to the babes in Christ.

I believe the New Covenant went into effect officially with Christ's death. The Law of Moses is no more. We are now under the New Covenant with different New Testament Commands. But Jesus taught New Covenant and not Old Covenant during His ministry, though. How so? Well, Jesus said, you have heard it said an eye for an eye, .... BUT I TELL YOU .... to turn the other cheek. In other words, Jesus was changing things even before the cross. He was telling people to put faith directly in Him. This was before the cross. John the Baptist had the Holy Ghost since his birth. This is before the cross.

However, Paul does not disagree with Jesus' words in Matthew 6:14-15, though. In Ephesians 4:32, Paul says, "And be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ has forgiven you."

Now, your probabaly thinking that this is not saying the same thing. That this is merely a suggestion by Paul. But Paul said that what he wrote was the Lord's commandments (1 Corinthians 14:37). However, more importantly Paul said if any man teaches contrary (otherwise) to the words of Jesus Christ and the doctrine which is according to Godliness; he is proud, and knows nothing (1 Timothy 6:3-4). So you can't tell me that Paul taught something different than what Jesus taught. Paul says a person knows nothing if they say such a thing.
a new idea or new thing must be put in place, now it is in place you cant move it.

again scripture is in time with history, not quoted out side of the time to the birth of a new thing.
9 Behold, I am doing a new thing;
now it springs forth, do you not perceive it?
I will make a way in the wilderness
and rivers in the desert.Isaiah 43

you speculate again, how can you think for me. again you stupor is clear,

there again is your problem, like acts 15,it is in time with time. so why go back to heaven. again your logic is at fault.
Isaiah 43 730 bc out side of the time of jesus.

3 For I am the LORD your God,
the Holy One of Israel, your Savior.
I give Egypt as your ransom,
Cush and Seba in exchange for you.
11 I, I am the LORD,
and besides me there is no savior.
25 "I, I am he
who blots out your transgressions for my own sake,
and I will not remember your sins.

how did you get your sin blotted out.

Are you saying there was no saved Gentile believers in the Old Testament? What about the city of Nineveh? What about Ruth and Rahab? Did Jesus ultimately refuse the Gentile woman's request? Why did Jesus say to preach the gospel to every creature to his disciples after he was risen? Did Jesus say He changed gospels and or teachings at any point?
again was ruth or rahab at pentecost.

I noticed that you quoted Romans 8:1 without... "Walk after the Spirit" part within it. That is essential so as not to be under the Condemnation. The Condemnation is defined for us in John 3:19-21. It says that Light has come into the world and men did not come to the Light because they loved the darkness of their own evil deeds. Meaning, any man whether they are a professing believer or not who sins has not truly come to the Light because they love the darkness of their own evil deeds still. They are still under the Condemnation.
again prove your speculation.

you never saved you self, yet you claim to see
no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

bottom line what is the big difference between a sin done in ignorance and one not done in ignorance...which one's wages is not death?
and what does it matter to you who believes all future sins are already forgiven...to you sin makes no difference in ignorance or not ....your sins are become righteousness and your evil as good...and their wages is no longer death but life...

Sin separates us in FELLOWSHIP not RELATIONSHIP...
what is the relationship God has with a sinner?...father and son...scripture says the devil is the father of sinners...not God...how does one obey sin and be the son of God at the same time....Is that an example set by Jesus????he who sins has adopted to himself another father and rejected God.....you cannot have two spiritual fathers at the same time....it is either you are in Christ without sin or drawn away from Christ in sin

What? No. The Lord our God is a God of order and logic. God does not run contrary to what is orderly and logical. Jesus illustrated many spiritual truths thru real world examples called parables. If the parables were illogical and not based on reality (i.e. not logical), then we would have no frame of reference to understand the spiritual. That is why OSAS is a lie. You cannot illustrate it usiing a parable in any way. It is a doctrine of devils because it leads many people (but not all people) into thinking they can sin and still be saved. For there is no real consequence to an OSAS type belief. Chastening of the Lord is not that big of deterrent because unbelievers go thru the same challenges that a believer would go thru. This life is temporary. Only punishment in being separated from God and destroyed in the Lake of Fire is a truly effective deterrent for a person in not sinning. For Jesus said fear not him who can destroy the body but fear him who can destroy both body and soul in Hell (i.e. Gehenna, the Lake of Fire).
order or logic is up to you to peace together. (your choice)

what people was jesus and john(b) sent to. ? (jewish people)

when you answer this question.

why was there a pentecost?

what law was give to a gentile acts 15.

But some men came down from Judea and were teaching the brothers, "Unless you are circumcised according to the custom of Moses, you cannot be saved

5 But some believers who belonged to the party of the Pharisees rose up and said, "It is necessary to circumcise them and to order them to keep the law of Moses."Acts 15

again time proves, correct to change, not my speculation or thought.the time line to the history of change and facts that grace saved not law. you build in error.

10 Now, therefore, why are you putting God to the test by placing a yoke on the neck of the disciples that neither our fathers nor we have been able to bear?11 But we believe that we will be saved through the grace of the Lord Jesus, just as they will."

Get a triple cheeseburger and diet coke cause you make no sense.
having manners is common thing. if you cant keep up , get out the kitchen, never mind trying to read or teach what is in it, (the bible.) you only insult your self . stupor is for the blind.

Dcon, my friend, I disagree. It has EVERYTHING to do with Biblical salvation.
Disagree all you want bro...the context is clear and it has nothing at all to do with biblical salvation as those who fail to assemble together with the people of God count the blood of Jesus a common, ordinary base thing and trample under foot the Son of God......!

No... one does not save himself...but....
God gives us power to become sons of God.....
John 1:12
But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

But again, it does not matter if you live like a saint and or repent until the cows come home. If you teach that a person can sin and still be saved, then you are going to have other people's blood on your hands for teaching them that they can do evil (With the thinking they are saved). That's the problem with the Classic and Mid Range versions of OSAS.
when did law save you. and if grace is a gift. how can you claim to have saved your self.

again prove the law was given(the law of moses) to given to a gentile, because act 15 already proves you wrong.

ie they would have said follow the full law of mosses.

yet how could anyone foretold of a temple(stone) fall

22 " But you have not called upon Me, O Jacob;
And you have been weary of Me, O Israel.
23 You have not brought Me the sheep for your burnt offerings,
Nor have you honored Me with your sacrifices.
I have not caused you to serve with grain offerings,
Nor wearied you with incense.
24 You have bought Me no sweet cane with money,
Nor have you satisfied Me with the fat of your sacrifices;
But you have burdened Me with your sins,
You have wearied Me with your iniquities.
25 " I, even I, am He who blots out your transgressions for My own sake;
And I will not remember your sins.
26 Put Me in remembrance;
Let us contend together;
State your case, that you may be acquitted.
27 Your first father sinned,
And your mediators have transgressed against Me.
28 Therefore I will profane the princes of the sanctuary;
I will give Jacob to the curse,
And Israel to reproaches.

70 ad no temple of stone.
