Ya know how people are always saying what would Jesus do? I think JL gave us a pretty good example (see above)

soft words turn away wrath and showing a tenderhearted concern. :)
hi there, sister! :)

how can we serve you today?
would you like a beverage? :)

When I see "sons of thunder" in the forums My heart feels for them. I know they want to do right and think to defend God. Bless thier hearts? Don't they remember what Jesus said to James and John? They know not what spirit they are of....not the fire of Elijah but the love of Christ, a gentle nudge back to thier Bible not sledgehammering some young Chrisitan potatoe chip.

Long ago and faraway (way back in the 20th century) I hate to think decades but... when I lived downstate there was a christian coffee house. It was great informal Bible studies, people discussing scripture, back in the day of the "Jesus people" but all ages welcome. I actually went with my Mom..

I totally love that song. Oh I want this to be a real cafe noooooooow. XD Especially since I tend to drink coffee while on here. XDD

Back to the love thing, am I the only person who has a hard time loving people? It's like I have people I have known my entered life at church but I am not the kind of person to be like "I love you" all the time.

Yeah the main way I show love is physical contact, usually hugs. Oh and compliments! :D

people express love in different ways, and people receive (feel) love in different ways.

God does good work, yeah? :)

I'm puzzled and confused!

I opened the door labeled BDF, but on the inside, it says Misc. Forum.

Outside - BDF, Inside - Misc.

Is it just me? Or is something STRANGE happening here?

Order?? What order??

Make it mint tea with some of those delicious maple pecan twists. Who cares about the diet?

"And this is his commandment, that we believe in the name of his Son Jesus Christ and love one another, just as he has commanded us. [SUP]24 [/SUP]Whoever keeps his commandments abides in God, and God in him. And by this we know that he abides in us, by the Spirit whom he has given us." 1 John 3:23-24

My new years restitution went out the door when I saw some bear claws that had pecans on top and smothered with whipped topping. Oh my goodness I'll be back in a few minutes.

if your not familiar, though i have hardly ever known anyone who is not - origami is an art form of taking a plain, flat, usually (always, to purists) square piece of ordinary paper and by means of clever folding and manipulation, transforming it into a recognizable likeness of another thing or into a usable implement like a cup or a box.
Dont give him any ancient manuscripts... :D

bring some to share, if you can. :)

Is 58:6-7
Is not this the fast that I choose:
to loose the bonds of wickedness,
to undo the straps of the yoke,
to let the oppressed go free,
and to break every yoke?

Is it not to share your bread with the hungry
and bring the homeless poor into your house;
when you see the naked, to cover him,
and not to hide yourself from your own flesh?

hey guys sorry I was gone for so long i was beyond busy i needed to chill at the cafe so bad but i was really busy. my dear steph brought up the subject of having issues of love. Christians are indeed called to be love for god is love but to be filled with love is something that you strive for it isnt always easy. i am naturally a caring person so the gift i am strongest in is love. But its a matter of the heart what condition its in the relationship u have with God. The deeper the love you and God have the more love you will have inside you which is why it is written to seek love above all other gifts i cant remember where I know it was after acts.

Oh and I brough everyone cupcakes and special tea that relaxes you :D
