Jesus, in His last breath said:
Luk 23:46 Jesus cried out in a loud voice, "Father! In your hands I place my spirit!" He said this and died.
He didn´t said:
I placed my soul, mind, body... but Spirit.
That was His special Last Breath (Spirit = Pneuma).
Psa 31:5 LORD, you are the God we can trust. I put my life in your hands. Save me!
That is linked to Psa 22.
When He spoke about fears, He never mentioned the "trinitarian formula" we were so clichéd to use: Body, mind, spirit.
He simple said this:
Mat 10:28 "Don't be afraid of people. They can kill the body, but they cannot kill the soul. The only one you should fear is God, the one who can send the body and the soul to be destroyed in hell.
So He was simply dualist, not "trinitarian" neither "triune", but there´s freedom to believe what we believed.
The adds-on came later on from the RCC.
