It means those who die in wickedness remain wicked forever, and their memory will be forgotten in heaven.

Those in Christ are no longer wicked, and the statement does not apply to them.
That's not what it says. You were once wicked, correct. In order to be therefore found in Christ, you had to crucify your wicked flesh, correct? Did you remain wicked? Therefore, death is the agent that brings about the change. Until then, what was crooked CANNOT be made straight, and the poor will always be many!

No, I had to believe on his work on the cross, which by faith cleanses my sin.

Did you remain wicked?
No, I am an adopted son of God in the family of God.

Therefore, death is the agent that brings about the change.
Death to my sinful nature and life in Christ effects sanctification after I am saved.

And physical death only separates my body from my born-again spirit which returns to God in Christ.

Until then, what was crooked CANNOT be made straight, and the poor will always be many!
The sinful body will never be sinless,
but at coming to saving faith, one's spirit is born again into eternal life.

To be baptized into Christ is to be so in His death.

Good. Then I would only ask that you claim what is yours by right an co-heir to all the world

Death to my sinful nature and life in Christ effects sanctification after I am saved.
Then understand that dead men does not know any sin. They know nothing except Him who crucified. How then can a man who is in such a state be again, a minister of sin?

And physical death only separates my body from my born-again spirit which returns to God in Christ.
A man is appointed to die but ONCE! You've said that you had "died to your sinful nature," why then look for death a SECOND TIME for sins?

The sinful body will never be sinless,
but at coming to saving faith, one's spirit is born again into eternal life.
Again your "sinful nature" is dead, and the life you live now, is as an "adopted son of God." I dispute it not. Please, just take your power over the earth. That's all I ask.

My inheritance will be given me at the new heavens and new earth of eternity, where there is no death.

Would he not be saying much more. . .that as long as they remain in Judaism (which denies Christ),
they are denying the blood that bought them, which is their only redemption from God's wrath
(Jn 3:36), and will, therefore, die in their sin, separated from God and under his condemnation?

The true believers would obey the writer's warning, while the false believers would not, and would die without forgiveness, condemned to God's wrath.
The passage starts off like this:
[SUP]4 [/SUP]For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted the heavenly gift, and have become partakers of the Holy Spirit, [SUP]5 [/SUP]and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come,

Sounds like Paul is talking about someone who was once a true believer to me.

Past the Point of Repentance
Jesus’ warning referred to willful and deliberate “blasphemy against the spirit.” There is no acquittal for this type of sin. “No, not in this system of things nor in that to come,” he added. (Matthew 12:31, 32) Those guilty of such sin will not be resurrected.
What is blasphemy against the spirit? It emanates from the heart, revealing a malicious attitude and intent. The purposeful intent to oppose God’s holy spirit intensifies the seriousness of this sin. To illustrate: In some parts of the world, the law distinguishes between murder in the first degree and murder in the second degree on the basis of intent and the way the murder was committed, and it limits capital punishment (death) to intentional or premeditated murder.
The apostle Paul was formerly a blasphemer but said: “I was shown mercy, because I was ignorant.” (1 Timothy 1:13) To sin against the holy spirit is to oppose it willfully. It involves a wicked heart condition that reaches the point of no return.
Paul was evidently referring to this kind of sin when he wrote: “It is impossible as regards those who have once for all been enlightened, and who have tasted the heavenly free gift, and who have become partakers of holy spirit, and who have tasted the fine word of God and powers of the coming system of things, but who have fallen away, to revive them again to repentance.” (Hebrews 6:4-6) The apostle also said: “If we practice sin willfully after having received the accurate knowledge of the truth, there is no longer any sacrifice for sins left.”—Hebrews 10:26.
It was the conduct of some religious leaders in his day that prompted Jesus to warn against the unforgivable sin. But they did not heed his warning. In fact, they had him killed. Later they heard undeniable evidence that the holy spirit had done something miraculous. They were told that Jesus had been brought back from the dead! It was clear that Jesus was the Christ! Still, they acted wickedly against the holy spirit by paying the Roman soldiers to lie about Jesus’ resurrection.—Matthew 28:11-15.
I think you are wrong, This person did not past the point of forgiveness, that only occurs after ones physical death. Look at what Paul says (which I highlighted in red) "to receive them again...key word, again, unto repentance, why? because they had already repented once, the blood was already applied once, they had tasted the heavenly gift (Christ) and the Holy Spirit. Once the blood has been applied once, it doesn't have to be applied again, to say so is like saying the blood applied the first time didn't do it's job, or it was weak.

Paul is warning Christians of Jewish decent not to fall back into Judaism. There was enormous amount of pressure put on "Jewish" Christians to denounce Christ and to leave the faith, if "this" Christian did not, they faced being cut off from their families, friends, leaders, the nation, and even to the point of being killed (ex. Stephen). If a "Jewish" Christian did slip back into Judaism, but then became convicted for doing so, all they had to do was repent for their sin of "falling back". and they'd be accepted again onto God's family. The don't have to repent as to receive Christ all over again. Now if they stayed in Judaism, then I'd have to say they are lost, because as Erin stated before (which I agree with) Judaism rejects Christ.

Just how I take it, makes the most scense to me.

It is speaking of the light they have received on all these things as a result
of being in the church assembly.
They had come under the influence of God's covenant blessings and had professed to turn from darkness
to light, but were considering a public and final rejection of Christ, proving they had never been born again and rejecting the only sacrifice for sin, leaving them to die in their sin under the condemnation of God (see 10:26-31).

It refers to professing Christians whose apostasy proves that their faith was not genuine (1Jn 2:19).

I know that issue is not resolved.
