Best I can tell legalist just don't love Gods law...they get mad when folks teach others how to fulfill it? Its crazy these people who claim to love the law of God don't want others to know how to fulfill it?

But those that know righteousness understand clearly because it was God that put it in there hearts, i been here a while and thought exactly as you have express yourself in this post, but then i realize God law is Good 1 Timothy 1:8 and it's spiritual Romans 7;14.

Isaiah 51:7 Hearken unto me, ye that know righteousness, the people in whose heart is my law; fear ye not the reproach of men, neither be ye afraid of their revilings.

If the law is not found in letter thought the written code then it means that the law is written in spirit but the Question is did we receive the spirit of God that he promised?

How is fulfilling the law in love...lawlessness? Thats what the bible clearly teaches! you don't believe the bible?

Why don't you want to see the law fulfilled in love...why does that bother you?

You proclaim loudly that you fulfill the Law in love yet by your actions, you do not.

I'll paraphrase the Bard here...

The fellow doth protest too much, methinks

I would ask you what Paul ask many "know ye not that the Spirit of God dwells in you" I would also say that those of us who do know are not looking for "forms" of godliness through religion and legalism...we know we have the power of God ...in us! We know we have the law of God written upon our hearts! :)

While you protest loudly about fulfilling the Law, in the same breath you teach that we do not have to obey the Law, so

fulfill = do away with?

Let's look at the old two cup example again...

Take two styrofoam cups, fill one with water and pick it up in your right hand. Leave the other one empty, pick it up in your left hand, crush it and toss it away.

Now explain to us which cup is fulfilled (filled full)?

Psalm 25:14 The secret of the LORD is with them that fear him; and he will show them his covenant.

I belive everyone can agree with this perhaps

God Bless

Perfect love cast out all fear, he who fears has not been made perfect in love! NEW TESTAMENT- John the Apostle of Jesus Christ :)

Im not sure what point you think your making...the law is not laid upon the righteous...but for the sinner! That's the written code and its purpose is to condemn all men as sinners. The true Law of God is the Spirit of God, the written code was only a shadow of the Spirit.

How is fulfilling all the law in love not obedience? Are you without understanding that this is what is taught again and again in the New Testament?

It don't matter what you think, the truth of the bible is what matters and its truth does not changed based upon you or me! Its still the truth whether you believe I can live it or not :)

Once more if I may, Jesus Christ teaches us that all the law hands on LOVE. If we love, indeed, we fulfill the law.

If all the law hangs on love, then the law is there. I do my best to obey the law always, knowing which yield to mercy, however the victory belongs to my Lord, Jesus Christ. The law is not gone simply because Jesus fulfilled it, for He teaches until heaven and earth pass away not one jot or tiddle of the law will pass.

The law will always be hanging there on Love, fulfilled by true and complete love. Until we are perfected we do not love as God loves, for He IS Love, so never discount the wisdom of the law. Learn it, knowing which yield to mercy, and do your best to follow its wisdom, otherwise you are deliveratlely opening youself to sin. Sin is not following the law.

Yes, we are only saved by the Blood of Jesus Chrsit, but do not walk on His precious gift of Blood by saying the law is abolished. This is a lie, and not of Jesus Christ and demonstrattes a lack of faith in the grace of Jesus Christ.

Yes, love the law. You cannot love the law if you have no idea how it is to be applied undergrace. YOu can learn this from the Master, Jesus Christ by noting where mercy is in place of certain laws.

Do not scoff at this advice without having gone the extra mile with those who alrealdy understand this.

praise our Salvation, Jesus Christ, and may God bless you all.

Gods law is Spiritual its the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus. Its not found in the "letter" its not kept through the written code its kept through walking in life and love that flows from the Spirit of grace. The old written code was only a shadow of the Spirit that has been given to those who have believed. The old written code was a legal standard that brought judgment unto death. We have been delivered from that judgment by the judgment that was put upon Christ at His Cross. LIFE and love are the commandments of God. That's Gods law! Do you really live and love the Law of God?

Isa 54:17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.

Php 3:9 ¶ And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:

So your saying its love not legalism....its the Spirit and not the "letter".. Is that what your saying?

We love him (first commandment) because He first loved us....no one is keeping the true law of God apart from Gods love and grace.

Lemme see here...

Joh 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.

Do you love Christ enough to do what He says?

Ro 7:6 But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.
7 ¶ What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.

we have made this point before...Love fulfills every commandment of God...so love and teach love in Jesus Christ? What offends you about that?

Nothing offends me...

Psa 119:165 Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them.

I just find it interesting that this gospel of love teaches that one fulfills the law without actually having to keep and obey it.

Yeah but if we are delivered from the Law, what is wrong with coveting? We are delivered from the Law that says not to covet.

Or so says you.

God's law is become spiritual to all who come to Jesus Chrisst in spirit and truth, however this is only true for those who know it. Yes, it is inscribed on the inward pars, on the heart, and being so, we know the written laws and which are extant today. The Holy Spirit tells me any law telling me to be good, though now unnecessary in writing for me because of Jesus Christ, is still in existence. Would you tell me to dishonor God by worsipping an idol, or to disrespect my parents? Is it just fine to bear false witness or to lie, or to steal. Is coveting now the way? Shall I lust after another's spouse? If I find my enemy's ox straying shall I keep it? Now the laws concerning the Temple are not to be followed, but the Holy Spirit in me tells me this right off, also the levitical instruction in the law cannot be followed for we now have one High Priest.

Why don't people who think the law is abolished jsut because it is spiritual, study the law, all of it, and with the Holy Spirit guiding you, you will find the law is indeed good and wise. You will also see by circumstances the the majority of them ae not applicable due to the change from a physical Israel with it's Jerusalem here on earth to the spiritual Israel with its Jerusalem still awaiting God's bringing it down to us. You all know we are of the faith of Abraham, correct? He was first told of Jesus Christ coming to be a blessing to all the nations, being the Gate for us to all join together witht he Israel of God. It is in the Book.

God bless all.

So your saying its love not legalism....its the Spirit and not the "letter".. Is that what your saying?

Explain to me how to keep the spirit of the Law while violating the letter?

Christ came and taught us to do both.
