so why would you disown someone, unless you had no faith?
(and where did you get that interpretation, just asking)
the word deny, he can not deny himself. means he can not deny his promise, his justice, and his righteousness.
He made the promise to all who trust him, to give them eternal life. If He has to remove that eternal gift he gave, he must deny himself (his promise, his justice, his redemption, his gift, his everything)
... and was raised again for our justification.

Amen and like it teaches in Galatians 2:16-21...we are saved and JUSTIFIED by the Perfect faith OF Christ...the word of can be translated Of or From and both indicate SOURCE....The perfect faith of Jesus is the the source of our salvation and justification....that is why salvation and justification are both eternal....the faith of Christ is perfect and eternal......!
Amen to this...for God so loved the world (cosmos) whole order of things.........if God loved us conditionally we would all be in trouble and it would be very, very hot at the end of the day....!
Yes, that is what "faithless" means.
From the text, v. 12b.
We have the same statement in Ro 3:3-5:
"What if some did not have faith? Will their lack of faith nullify God's faithfulness?
Not at all! Let God be true and every man a liar (who says that God is faithless).
. . .our unrighteousness (faithlessness) brings out God's righteousness (against sin) more clearly. . ."
And that includes his promise to punish unrighteousness, which is his justice and righteousness.
The texts of Ro 3:3-5; 2Tim 2:13 are speaking of a different promise,
they are speaking of the promise to punish unrighteousness.

Salvation is "a delivery". There is only one deliverance, salvation, for eternal. There are many deliverances (salvations) we receive here in earth. Most of the salvation scriptures are referring to timely deliverances. God has dealt every born again man a measure of faith. Faith is a fruit of the Holy Spirit, Gal 5:22, and you have to be born of the Spirit before he can have faith. The carnal man, void of the Spirit, cannot discern spiritual things, such as faith, 1 Cor 2:14. Number 2 & 3 are true. There is a deliverance (salvation) when you come unto a knowledge of the truth, but it is a timely salvation, not eternal. John 3:16, Thayer's Greek translation of the word "world" is pertaining to believers only, not all mankind. Can you give me a scripture on number 6? I can't find that wording in my King James version.
