I have come up with a very Christian pain relief method, pray to God to relieve your pain and believe in good faith you will feel less pain the moment you do. This seems to get better the more you practice it so don't give up. May God ease your suffering and pain, God bless.

My late wife prayed for pain relief for debilitating arthritis for years, as well as I and family members too. I guess we didn't practice hard enough or our faith wasn't faithful enough. Perhaps, in the end, having endured years of pain and suffering she just gave up. I agree with you in what you have stated but sometimes, for reasons unknown to the believer, God allows pain to persist. Sad, but often times true.

It seems to work for me, I believe you have to have faith that God will relieve your pain as well. Maybe your wife didn't believe that he would and this prevented him from doing it. God wouldn't do something you do not believe would happen because it would scare you and he doesn't want to do that.

That is not how it was at all. Her faith in God was exceptional and the way that she conducted herself, despite her pain, outstanding. She is with the Lord now and the truth is she is now more alive than I can ever hope to be while I am still walking this earth.

It doesn't seem to work if you do anything but believe you will receive pain relief from God. I have a broken jaw and I feel no pain because of this knowledge. I hope your wife is at peace in heaven. Be well and have faith Christ is with you brother.

in medical school we learned that bigpharma medications that are prescribed often for pain, mayin a few months of use start causing the pain they are 'supposed' to relieve.

the body as yahweh made it produces and uses some totally non-harmful and 'automatic' relief for pain, but i've never ever in 50 years seen or heard of an ama doctor recommending anything natural. (or extremely rarely, if ever - it's not ama protocol to recommend anything non-toxic, non-expensive, and that works without any side effects).

prayer and faith works, when there is enough prayer and faith (naturally?!) .... in the bible conditions are listed that may need to be adhered to in order for yahweh to hear the prayer. (read all of the psalms, to see some of them).
