Why didn't Jesus tell the Pharisees to stone the woman to death who was caught in the act of adultery? That was the literal law

He said "he who is without this sin cast the first stone" (hebrew version reads "this sin" greek version reads "sin" ....as it is believed that the pharisees accusing he was seeking her services....

H was calling them out on being hypocrites, not saying sin was ok;

John) 5:14, Afterward, Yahshua found him in the sacred precincts and said to him: Behold, you are healed. Sin no more, or a worse thing will come upon you."

hmm you forgot v 17, error of lawless people, you wrote it in the verse description, wonder why you left that part out?

2 peter 3:15-17, "And count the patience of our Lord as salvation, just as our beloved brother Paul also wrote to you according to the wisdom given him, as he does in all his letters when he speaks in them of these matters. There are some things in them that are hard to understand, which the ignorant and unstable twist to their own destruction, as they do the other Scriptures. You therefore, beloved, knowing this beforehand, take care that you are not carried away with the error of lawless people and lose your own stability."

pLEASE EXPLAIN THIS VERSE TO ME:
[SUP] [/SUP]For when we were in the realm of the flesh,[SUP][a][/SUP] the sinful passions aroused by the law were at work in us, so that we bore fruit for death. rom 7:5

He said "he who is without this sin cast the first stone" (hebrew version reads "this sin" greek version reads "sin" ....as it is believed that the pharisees accusing he was seeking her services....

H was calling them out on being hypocrites, not saying sin was ok;

But for you, not one jot or title........................

No Christian will be perfect on this earth, they are BEING made holy, they are not the finished article! I repeat, there is a world of difference between where Paul was in rom 7:14-25 and sinless perfection. No true Christian can be proud of positive change in them, obedience comes from faith(rom 1:5) faith given to them as a free gift, so no one can boast. The Christian is sanctified by the Holy Spirit aand can have no confidence in the flesh(Phil3:3) All the glory is God's none is ours

Agreed, but why do you mention or talk of obedience, according to you none is required? If obedience is required, then why do you reject an ignore all new testament admonitions to keep the commandments of God? Not that it matters, rejecting any part of the testimony of scripture all leads to the same place, death.

Why didn't Jesus tell the Pharisees to stone the woman to death who was caught in the act of adultery? That was the literal law

I believe for the same reason when Jesus said "...for the Son of Man did not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them." (Luke 9:56) When James and John asked the Lord if He would like them to cast fire upon the Samaritan village.

It's either saving people, or destroying people(such as be stoned to death). He came to save people. Even if people were horrible sinners, He loved them.

lol so you "uphold he TEN Commandments" but change the 4th?

really?

so you uphold the 9 then....

What Law do you think this is talking about being changed?

Daniyl 7:25, "And he will speak great words against Yahweh, and will wear out the saints of Yahweh, and think to change times and Laws..."

I have yet to find a single person that says Sabbath has been chaged that will even comment on this verse, what happened to the whole word, and Spirit and truth?

Mattithyah 12:12, "And how much more valuable is a man than a sheep? Therefore, it is Lawful to do righteousness on the Sabbath."

it has always been the intent to do right on the Sabbath:

Isayah 58:13-14, "If you turn away your foot from breaking the Sabbath: from doing your pleasure; your own business, your own pleasure, on My holy day, and call the Sabbath a delight; the holy day of Yahweh honorable, and will honor Him by not doing your own ways, nor finding your own pleasure, nor engaging in aidle conversation: Then you will find your joy in Yahweh; and I will cause you to ride on the high places of the earth, and feed you with the heritage of Yaaqob your father--for the mouth of Yahweh has spoken it."

Like I said the Lord changed how the Sabbath is now observed in the new covenant, not me.
A man was to be put to death for just picking up sticks on the Sabbath under the Mosaic laws, but under the new covenant the Lord said no to that and that He requires mercy. Plus in Hebrews it says that through obedience our Sabbath rest is in Him. So by being obedient to Him in love, and giving everyday and everything that we do to Him we are still observing the Sabbath rather we consider to do it one day or everyday.
Plus like I said the Apostles did gather together on Sunday for worship, yes I know they did other days to, and it also shows in Acts and early church history documents that they used Saturday for bringing in new converts. Things changed from the old covenant to the new covenant, and how they are applied.

Acts 20:7

And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight.

without knowing what it says, as it is written, you still don't get it.

(english, with all the years of study in anything you have, won't help, not unless you submit to Jesus).

Accept the one whose faith is weak, without quarreling over disputable matters. [SUP]2 [/SUP]One person’s faith allows them to eat anything, but another, whose faith is weak, eats only vegetables. [SUP]3 [/SUP]The one who eats everything must not treat with contempt the one who does not, and the one who does not eat everything must not judge the one who does, for God has accepted them.[SUP]4 [/SUP]Who are you to judge someone else’s servant? To their own master, servants stand or fall. And they will stand, for the Lord is able to make them stand.
[SUP]5 [/SUP]One person considers one day more sacred than another; another considers every day alike. Each of them should be fully convinced in their own mind.[SUP]6 [/SUP]Whoever regards one day as special does so to the Lord. Whoever eats meat does so to the Lord, for they give thanks to God; and whoever abstains does so to the Lord and gives thanks to God. [SUP]7 [/SUP]For none of us lives for ourselves alone, and none of us dies for ourselves alone. [SUP]8 [/SUP]If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.[SUP]9 [/SUP]For this very reason, Christ died and returned to life so that he might be the Lord of both the dead and the living.
[SUP]10 [/SUP]You, then, why do you judge your brother or sister[SUP][a][/SUP]? Or why do you treat them with contempt? For we will all stand before God’s judgment seat. [SUP]11 [/SUP]It is written:
“‘As surely as I live,’ says the Lord,
‘every knee will bow before me;
every tongue will acknowledge God.’”[SUP][b][/SUP]

[SUP]12 [/SUP]So then, each of us will give an account of ourselves to God.
[SUP]13 [/SUP]Therefore let us stop passing judgment on one another. Instead, make up your mind not to put any stumbling block or obstacle in the way of a brother or sister. [SUP]14 [/SUP]I am convinced, being fully persuaded in the Lord Jesus, that nothing is unclean in itself. But if anyone regards something as unclean, then for that person it is unclean. [SUP]15 [/SUP]If your brother or sister is distressed because of what you eat, you are no longer acting in love. Do not by your eating destroy someone for whom Christ died. [SUP]16 [/SUP]Therefore do not let what you know is good be spoken of as evil. [SUP]17 [/SUP]For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit, [SUP]18 [/SUP]because anyone who serves Christ in this way is pleasing to God and receives human approval.
[SUP]19 [/SUP]Let us therefore make every effort to do what leads to peace and to mutual edification. [SUP]20 [/SUP]Do not destroy the work of God for the sake of food. All food is clean, but it is wrong for a person to eat anything that causes someone else to stumble. [SUP]21 [/SUP]It is better not to eat meat or drink wine or to do anything else that will cause your brother or sister to fall.
[SUP]22 [/SUP]So whatever you believe about these things keep between yourself and God. Blessed is the one who does not condemn himself by what he approves

Thank you. As is obvious, the ten commandments are not being discussed at all in that which you quoted. There is no good reason therefore, to assume the days spoken of, were any kind of reference to the fourth commandment or the seventh day Sabbath. There were many other holidays observed also which it is far more likely the above testimony was addressing. You may choose to beleive whatever you wish, but choosing to believe that which makes scripture or the words of Christ contradict themselves, simply is not healthy.

No He was not saying sin is ok, as what He was saying is that none of us has the right to judge or hold one accountable for their wrong doing as we are all guilty in God's eyes. We have no right to make that life and death judgment call on another, as we all deserve death instead of eternal life for our sins as well. The Lord makes intercession for us and gives us remission of those sins, and in return we are to show the same love, forgiveness, and mercy to others.

Sabbath for Hebrews/Jews only?

Nope and never was:

Isayah 56:1-7, "This is what Yahweh says: Keep the judgments, and do justly; for My salvation is near, soon, to come, and My righteousness to be revealed. Blessed is the man who does this, and the son of man who lays hold on it; who keeps the Sabbaths without polluting; defiling, them; and keeps his hand from doing any evil. Do not let the son of the Gentile, who has joined himself to Yahweh, speak, saying; Yahweh has utterly separated me from His people. Nor let the eunuch say; Behold, I am a dry tree. For this is what Yahweh says: To the eunuchs who keep My Sabbaths, and choose those things which please Me, and hold fast to My covenant: I will give to them, in My House, even within My walls, a place and a Name equal to that of sons and of daughters; I will give them the Name of The Everlasting: YAHWEH; which will not be cut off. Also the sons of the Gentile who join themselves to Yahweh, to serve Him, and to love the Name of Yahweh, to be His servants--everyone who keeps the Sabbaths without polluting; defiling, them and who holds fast to My covenant--I will bring them to My holy mountain, and make them joyful in My House of prayer..."

I agree 100%

There is not a command to observe Saturday as the Sabbath in the new covenant.
The new covenant command states one may observe one day more than others, and another may observe all days alike. There is nothing wrong with either, as long as we are giving everyday to God. And the Lord made changes in the NT on how the Sabbath is observed, as no longer is working on it a capital offense as we see with His apostles and the man He healed, and it also states that through obedience our Sabbath rest is now in Him.

Plus the scriptures in Acts shows that the Apostles/disciples did worship on Sundays, and used Saturdays to bring in new converts.......

Every admonition to keep the commandments in the new testament is an admonition to keep the fourth commandment as well. You simply ignore this, because you do not want to accept it. Your claims that it was not lawful to do good on the Sabbath during the old covenant are false. The same God was and is the God of both the old and new covenants. The gospel was preached to Israel of old through the sacrificial system of the temple and its services, and that which is lawful to do on the Sabbath now, was lawful then as well. God did not change from an in-compassionate Savior to a compassionate one in the transition from the old to new covenants. He is the same today as He was yesterday. The unfolding of the plan of salvation and increased knowledge obtained by the same, has not and does not change God. It was always lawful to do good on the Sabbath, the Scribes and Pharisees had just clouded this issue. Therefore Christ addressed and corrected the same.

For many, grace is a hard thing to accept. Bscically Jesus died for all the sins of a born again Christian, past, present and future. They are to know they are eternally secure in what Jesus did for them. They are not secure in a belief the law must be obeyed to get to Heaven. In that knowledge is great victory over sin, and that will be reflected by a believer following the true path of grace. For sin shall not be your master, for you are not under law but under grace(a righteousness of law keeping) Someone said, Jesus died to pay the penalty of your sin, and he died to break the power of sin, and the power of sin is the law 1Cor 15:56

The problem comes, when the truth of grace is not preached, but the demands of how one must live their life are. That leaves a person in the state described in Romans ch7

He broke the power of the law to demand your death for breaking it, He didn't change the law. He did this so you could change in accordance with the law, not so that the law would be changed in accordance with your sin. This you reject though, against the plain testimony of scripture and Paul himself, because you do not want to keep one of God's commandments.

Ro 8:1 ¶ There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. 3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: 4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. 6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. 8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. 9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. 10 ¶ And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. 11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. 12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. 13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. 14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

Go to, ignore Paul's testimony above at your own risk, since it does not fit what you want to believe. Christ did not die to change the law of God to save sinners, He died to change sinners into law abiding citizens of God's kingdom. If you believe and live according to the former you will die, if you will accept and be transformed by the latter you will live. You must change, God and His law will not. this is the testimony of scripture which you deny.

tidbit / footnote: remember when the enemy of christ started a religion on earth with constantine, they didn't keep any commandments of jesus, nor ever do what yahweh or jesus says to do.

it's been that way ever since then, and many billions have been lost and deceived by them, on purpose.

For starters we are talking about the Sabbath and not the feasts, but at the same time I never said we are not to observe these things. What I said is that the Lord made a clear change on how it is now observed, not me !!!

[h=1]Numbers 15:32-36[/h]32 Now while the children of Israel were in the wilderness, they found a man gathering sticks on the Sabbath day. 33 And those who found him gathering sticks brought him to Moses and Aaron, and to all the congregation. 34 They put him under guard, because it had not been explained what should be done to him.
35 Then the Lord said to Moses, “The man must surely be put to death; all the congregation shall stone him with stones outside the camp.” 36So, as the Lord commanded Moses, all the congregation brought him outside the camp and stoned him with stones, and he died.

Matthew 12:1

At that time Jesus went through the grainfields on the Sabbath, and His disciples became hungry and began to pick the heads of grain and eat. But when the Pharisees saw this, they said to Him, "Look, Your disciples do what is not lawful to do on a Sabbath." But he said unto them, Have ye not read what David did, when he was an hungred, and they that were with him; How he entered into the house of God, and did eat the shewbread, which was not lawful for him to eat, neither for them which were with him, but only for the priests? Or have you not read in the law that on the Sabbath the priests in the temple profane the Sabbath, and are blameless? Yet I say to you that in this place there is One greater than the temple. But if you had known what this means, ‘I desire mercy and not sacrifice,’ you would not have condemned the guiltless.

Matt 15:7-9, "Hypocrites! Well did Isayah prophesy of you, saying: These people draw near to Me with their mouth and honor Me with their lips, but have removed their hearts far from Me. But in vain they do worship Me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men."

Isayah 29:13-14, "Therefore Yahweh said: Because these people draw near to Me with their mouths and honor Me with their lips, but have removed their hearts far from Me, and their reverence to Me is taught by the precept of men; Therefore, behold, I will proceed to do a marvelous work among this people; a marvelous work and a wonder; for the wisdom of their wise men will perish, and the understanding of their prudent men; discerning, will be hid."

Mattithyah 24:20, "But pray that your flight will not be in the winter, nor on the Sabbath Day."

Agreed, but why do you mention or talk of obedience, according to you none is required? If obedience is required, then why do you reject an ignore all new testament admonitions to keep the commandments of God? Not that it matters, rejecting any part of the testimony of scripture all leads to the same place, death.

Christ is the end of the law unto righteousness to everyone who believeth Rom 10:4

You need to fully appreciate what that statement means

For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
[SUP]19 [/SUP]Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heav

What commands is Christ teaching at this time? The Beatitudes, he is preaching and teaching of loving God and loving your fellow man. His teaching can be summed up that way. Jesus was sent to Israel, as he said. The torah was given to Israel, not me a Gentile. The law that pertains to love God and love your fellow man remains, it is on your heart. But you can show that love to God by worshipping him any day of the week. If Gentiles must consider clean and unclean food according to the levitical laws, then you must start to dismiss what Paul wrote.
Jesus upped the law that mattered, the law no one could perfectly keep under the old covenant. Why keep talking about which day you go to church and clean and unclean foods, there are far more important laws that matter than those

Your point is moot. Jesus admonished the Israelites to do the same in the Old Covenant.

Deut 6:4 Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD: 5 And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. 6 And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:

Deut 11:1 Therefore thou shalt love the LORD thy God, and keep his charge, and his statutes, and his judgments, and his commandments, alway.

Deut 11:13 And it shall come to pass, if ye shall hearken diligently unto my commandments which I command you this day, to love the LORD your God, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul,

Deut 11:22 For if ye shall diligently keep all these commandments which I command you, to do them, to love the LORD your God,to walk in all his ways, and to cleave unto him;

John 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments. 16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; 17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

John 14:21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me:and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

Who do you think spoke to Moses from the burning bush? Who do you think descended upon the mountain and spoke the ten commandments? Who do you think led the children of Israel through the wilderness? It was our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. When He was here in our flesh and told us to love God with all your heart and soul, and your neighbor as yourself, he was simply repeating that which He had already told Israel. That which they, and we all, are so apt to forget.

Deut 30:6 And the LORD thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live.

Rom 2:28 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: 29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

1 Cor 7:18 Is any man called being circumcised? let him not become uncircumcised. Is any called in uncircumcision? let him not be circumcised. 19 Circumcision is nothing, and uncircumcision is nothing, but the keeping of the commandments of God.

Deut 30:16 In that I command thee this day to love the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: and the LORD thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it.

I Jn 2:3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. 4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

I Jn 5:1 Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him. 2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments. 3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

Lev 19:17 Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him. 18 Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the LORD.

Lev 19:34 But the stranger that dwelleth with you shall be unto you as one born among you, and thou shalt love him as thyself; for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the LORD your God.

Deut 10:19 Love ye therefore the stranger: for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt.

The thing that you missed was that I said that the Sabbath is to still be observed, but the way it is observed is different then how it was observed in the OT. If a person has to work Saturday to feed his family, then they are not breaking the Sabbath. I showed in post 556 how the Lord changed how the Sabbath is observed, and once again if I give and do everyday and everything I do to the Lord then I am still upholding the Sabbath. Hebrews says our Sabbath rest is in the Lord through our love and obedience to Him.

When the children of Israel were resting on saturdays, after having been given the law by Moses, was that an act of the flesh or a spiritual act?

It was an act of the flesh. It was their carnal understanding of a spiritual principal. The whole law given by Moses was an attempt to get the flesh to act as the spirit acts. It was given because they transgressed against the Grace of God.

The law given by Moses was a shadow, or a description, of what the Lord Jesus Christ would give us freely. By His Grace.

1 Corinthians 2:5-14
[SUP]5 [/SUP]That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.
[SUP]6 [/SUP]Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought:
[SUP]7 [/SUP]But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:
[SUP]8 [/SUP]Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
[SUP]9 [/SUP]But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
[SUP]10 [/SUP]But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
[SUP]11 [/SUP]For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
[SUP]12 [/SUP]Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.
[SUP]13 [/SUP]Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
[SUP]14 [/SUP]But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

How can we, as carnal men, work at a spiritual law?

Is our mere work at the law considered a spiritual endeavor? Nope. If that were the case then there is no reason for the Lord Jesus, for the children of Israel were already working at the law and were yet not spiritual.

But there is a way for a carnal man to work at the spiritual law. The Lord Jesus Christ teaches us.

The way we work at the spiritual law is the same way we are saved. Its the same for all of Gods Gifts.

By Grace through Faith and not of works, lest men boast.

So if we accomplish something, it is by Gods Grace through Faith. IF we stand, it is by Grace through Faith. If we "keep" any of His Perfect Law it is by Grace through Faith.

Is it so bad to rest in the work of Christ and cease from our own work and be freely given the good things of God by Grace through Faith? Isn't it absolutely necessary to learn this basic principle???

What are you justified by?
What are you sanctified by?
What are you saved by?

Having started in the Spirit are you perfected by the flesh?

I used to think I caused God to act by my obedience. That God owed me because I was so good. But there is only One that is Good, isn't there?

I think Abraham knew all about Grace through Faith. Do you think he was pleasing to God even though he wasn't given the command to rest on saturdays? I wonder why the Hebrews were given this command but Abraham was not? I don't really wonder... I was actually hoping you would wonder... Perhaps Abraham was already resting in Gods Grace and Provision and didn't need to be commanded to do it once a week as a shadow/tutor/instruction... Remember, the law was given because of transgression....

the ten commandments were not given to us by Moses, they were spoken audibly to the entire nation of Israel by God Himself, and written with His own finger for us twice. He would not allow man to author it even under His inspiration. all men who would presume to change it, will answer to Him for doing so.
