It's important that the more and more people get the truth about the climate change hoax that is affecting us all. The evidence is clear now that a relatively few people have foisted thuis hoax on us. But why? I would submit the reason is their desire to push socialism, wealth transfer, and power consolidation. They laws and governing bodies they are putting in place to save us will be exactly the one's that doom us. When the anti Christ comes, he will be given knowledge from a being who we are told was created with great wisdom on how to make the world a better place. He will be given this to make himself look like a great, god like man that the world will be amazed by, and even call God, and make graven images of him and worship him. I strongly believe that satan finds ways for our leaders to create these horrible things happening in our world all to create in the peoples of the earth someone with that perfect solution, all to gain their trust entirely. This article is written by the same Christopher Brooker who said second hand smoke isn't bad for children; who said evolution has no evidence at all; who published 38 articles about white asbestos ''being no risk to health'' based on ''evidence'' given to him by a fake asbestos expert who claims to be head of an asbestos dept at Glamorgan University (a dept which has never even existed) and who was prosecuted by Trading Standards for lying about his qualifications and spreading dangerous asbestos misinformation; who uses bloggers as sources in his newspaper articles and who tried to discredit world renouned climate scientists Dr Rajenda Pachauri by accusing him of financial misdealings, even after he was proven innocent.

If it's hot out global warming, if it's cold out gobal warming, if it is beyond freezing with feet of snow...you guessed it, global warming. If temperatures achieve their exact historical median... GLOBAL WARMING!, only now, with so many on to the hoax, and seeing the antarctic ice greater than ever, artic ice near normal, and freezing winters,which wasn't suppose to happen, we have to change the name, so as not to look even more ridiculous than we already do, of the hoax to "Climate Change" Wake up!! I think his point of someone being a less then reliable source is valid. Do you just believe everything everyone tells you without considering their reputation?

Even a thief can tell you stealing is wrong, but consider the source.

I dunno, the weather fluctuates back and forth just like it did when I was a kid, nothing seems different. The older people Ive talked to all say the weather is just like it was when they were younger, and that nothing seems different. And they arent all anti global warming, they generally respond "I dunno" when I bring up the topic. So far the weather seems to do what it has always done, it gets hot and it gets cold. The only evidence Ive seen of global warming is science says its happening. There are plenty of scientist who say it is not happening though, and are using science to prove just that.

The fun thing about science is that with money you can make it say anything. I dont doubt that natural disasters will happen though, God tells us they will in fact happen. The funny thing is, though, is that the anti Christ will in fact tell them its just global warming, and all those who dont want to believe in God will go "phew! Then we have nothing to worry about". Haha for some reason I have noticed that if we can find out how something happened, atheist suddenly say that it isnt prophecy. I dunno why that would ever cancel it out

TBH I never believed in man-made global warming. The climate has been changing since the beginning of time, nothing to do with man though - sometimes we are so arrogant and self-obsessed. Volcanic action has far more bearing on climate change than man could ever hope to achieve.

I believe that the power of God over the World is greater than the power of Man to create climate change. Scientists can worry about climate change and say we should only have lights and energy when the sun is shining or the wind is blowing, but I will put my faith in God.

Why are you afraid to consider the possibility that you are being duped?

A journalist should be credible, and you should be smart enough to use credible sources, but it's evidenced within those links that not only is the man a discredited liar, but the claims he makes are based off faulty understanding of the data. Everything you need is in those articles, for instance examples and links to Brooker's past columns where he makes false statements about asbestos being unharmful (it's very harmful according to Hodgson and Darnton from Oxford University) and how he doesn't understand nor correctly interpret the climate data he is attacking.

Read the bloody evidence man -- you're the one being duped by Brooker.

Fact:
Theon was not Hansen's supervisor in any reasonable meaning of the word, as blogger BigCityLib and Gavin Schmidt of NASA have noted.
Claim 2:
"Nothing was more laughable than the sequence showing a huge poster of the infamous 'hockey stick' temperature graph being driven round London on the back of a lorry, without any mention of the expert studies which have made the 'hockey stick' one of the most comprehensively discredited artefacts in the history of science."
Fact:
Far from being discredited, the hockey stick graph of past temperature reconstructions has been supported by a large number of further studies, as you can see in this graphicand on the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change's site. Those who claimed to discredit it have been comprehensively rebuffed. You can read more about this on the A Few Things Ill Considered blog and on Real Climate.

"As late as August 28 this year it [the BBC] was still predicting that Arctic ice might soon disappear, just as this winter's refreezing was about to take ice cover back to a point it was at 30 years ago."
Fact:
This is complete trash. See the latest results from the National Snow and Ice Data Center. It reports: "Average Arctic sea ice extent for the month of December was 12.53m square kilometres (4.84m sq miles). This was 140,000 sq km (54,000 sq miles) greater than for December 2007 and 830,000 sq km (320,000 sq miles) less than the 1979 to 2000 December average." And: "Average ice extent in December was well below average and very close to that measured in 2007."
Claims 4, 5a, 5b and 6:
"The BBC couldn't wait to publicise the recent study claiming that Antarctica, far from getting colder over the past 50 years (claim 4), as all the evidence suggests, has in fact been warming (5a). It didn't, of course, explain that the new study is based on a computer model (5b), run by the creator of the "hockey stick" [Martin Mann], which in the absence of hard data (6), allows for inspired guesswork - what the study's authors call 'sparse data infilling'."
Facts:
4. All the evidence suggests nothing of the kind, as Real Climate's Gavin Schmidt explains.
5. The study is, in fact, based on satellite data and air temperature records from weather stations, as you can see in this letter.
5*. Michael Mann is one author of some of the past temperature reconstruction studies. He is only the fourth of six authors of the Antarctic warming paper.
6. As you can see in this joint letter, there is a good deal of hard data as well.
