You've been on my mind the last day or two. You've been missed, but I figured you had stepped away for some good reason :)

I had a real breakfast today. :O I had some peach alone vanilla oatmeal. It was good. I think I'll have to make that more often. With more peaches added in, though. I love my peaches (not too unlike gypsygirl, peaches are like one of my spirit animals. Lolol. That is, if I believed in such things. :p). I've got quite a bit to do today, so I better get off and do them.

In case anyone needs a little energy or just a happy song today (although I think Rachel's video still beats this out).

Where did joo go? Did "the others" take you? :p
Yes! The "others" got me. :p

Really, I just felt that my attitude was getting progressively worse, both on here and with my family. So taking a short break from here allowed for a bit of perspective and time to tackle whatever my problem was. And it really worked out well because it coincided with a week's worth of 60 degree, sunny days (unheard of in these parts in February, so much so that my tiny town got on state news over it...which was silly). So, I spent my time "off" riding my bike, pulling dead stuff out of my flower beds, and spring cleaning my house. Ooh! And my husband and I have started doing nightly Bible studies together, my daughter turned two, I taught my son to ride his bike, and I've printed off about fifty new (healthy) recipes to try (I burned last night's chicken but it was still pretty tasty).

I'm also pretty certain that my laptop is pretty dead, as it refused to even turn on this morning. I was all "Good morning, decrepit piece of technology!" And it was all...

Hello there, shiny happy people (and hello to the not so shiny or happy ones, too).
CRIS!!!

So happy to see you--I was beginning to worry the aliens had taken you.

Again.

Gonna have to wield some serious threats against those doggone aliens.

Maybe they're the same ones who are causing all the men to disappear as well. (Reference to another thread.)

Welcome back!! I missed you!!

Well Just, you're worth the blood of the Son of God. You can't get any more valuable than that :').

I'm glad you had an opportunity to grow, at least!

Try this: Remove the battery (if it's removable), remove the AC adapter/charger, and anything else connected. Press and hold the power button for 5 seconds. Reconnect your battery and charger, and see what happens when you press the power button again (it probably won't work, but hey, I'm a dreamer).

So yesterday, even though I got some sleep, I had a really weirdly sad dream. Yesterday I bought some free range eggs and organic spinach (yay for no pesticides! Yay for daily iron intake!) And I think I'll make an omelette with spinach and maybe even goat cheese to see how that tastes with it. It'll either go really well or it will be the most disgusting thing my tastebuds have ever tasted! We'll see.

I've realized lately how insanely short I am. I'm grateful for my health, but I wish I was taller. I'm so short and it really has been bothering me these past few days. I can't reach anything without a step stool and I hate standing on step stool's I am nervous when I do that. Also my kids who are 8 and 9 are almost as tall as me. It's nuts. I feel like a midget in a world full of big people. When I buy pants even the petite sizes are sometimes to long. I know these are as they say, first world problems and it shouldn't bother me, but it does. I'm 5ft 4 inches. I know that's not super tiny and it is nice to be able to lay across a love seat comfortably, but if I were just a big taller 5 7 or so I could reach things.
