I was hesitant at first as well and didn't think I would like it...it was edible and not bad, but I will stick with hickory smoke bacon by itself....... ;)

I once had my icecream sundae sitting next to my meal, and a little bit of chocolate dripped onto my porkchop.
I tried that.

I guess I'm just going to derail completely. I understand your sentiment, I was surprised I even liked it, but they say bacon makes everything better, and the same about chocolate, and while I'm not suggesting that’s the only way anyone should eat either, they do not cancel each other’s awesomeness, they actually improve each other. In my opinion of course. I'm just saying if you ever get the chance don't dismiss it off hand before you try it, but at the same time I wouldn't go out of my way to make it.

To the OP sorry about this I guess I should have asked this in the recipe section.

Not only would that be the act of a raving pagan, I'm pretty sure it's against the rules...........however, in this instance, Admin and the Mods might just choose to ignore your derailment of such a thread as this........dunno for sure though, so don't quote me ok?

it wouldn't be the first thread that I or others have derailed..lol.. ask dcon.. i derailed his "a thread we can all agree on" for like 5 pages with bible verses..lol.. but I asked his permission first, too..lol.. besides, every thread eventually gets back on track.. I'm sure djness will remind us of our pagan ways again sooner or later..;)
