Who goes to heaven? Are they the people who humbly repent of their sin, or are they the people who proclaim, “I am saved and you are not!”?

The answer seems obvious enough, yet there seems to be no shortage of people in this world proclaiming, “I am saved and you are not!”

You must be born again from above, and have the Spirit of Christ dwelling in you.

John 3:13
And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.

If Christ is not in you, then you are reprobate.

The one who is born again of the Holy Spirit will go to Heaven

It's not necessarily an either/or answer. It seems more like an and/both answer.

Those who humbly repent in Jesus' name -- yes, they are saved.
Those who say, "I am saved" in Jesus' name -- yes, they are saved.
Those who say, "I am saved" in Jesus' name, and you are not -- yes, they are saved.

Yet we must realize that we are not to judge or boast. Proclaiming our salvation in Jesus Christ is glorifying to the Lord, but adding that someone else is not saved is both judging and boasting.

As I always say "If the God of the bible is real, then no one is going to heaven" including myself.

Hebrews 11:1
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
It really comes down to the person themselves. If their heart is set on what's good then they will turn to that course, if it's set on bad things then that's the course they will go. Believing in something higher than what's in your heart wont effect the outcome of what your heart is set on.

Why do you think so many christians are so nasty with faith? It's because they would be so nasty without faith, it makes no difference what they believe.

Maybe they are nasty trees and lack faith?

Matthew 7:17-19[SUP]17 [/SUP]Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
[SUP]18 [/SUP]A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
[SUP]19 [/SUP]Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

trust is Jesus allow him into your heart and everything will be just fine no matter what anyone has done before everyone can be saved and pass through the gates of heaven. God bless everyone.

Those who full put their faith and trust in Jesus are the ones who go to heaven.
That faith in the Lord will lead to love, love to obedience, obedience to righteousness, righteousness to salvation !!!

Even if that were true of them, in no way do they deserve to be "hewn down, and cast into the fire" thats not justice.
