You have a friend who went to your house when you were at work. He flirts with your girlfriend, takes some of your money and eats some of your food then leaves. When you got home, your girlfriend told you what happened and you became angry at your friend. So you call him and confront him about his sins against you.

He says to you, "I'm really sorry, I feel horrible, I'm such a sinner, please forgive me, I repent. I put my trust in the fact that you are very forgiving and merciful"
So, you forgive your friend.

The next day, while you are at work, your friend returns again. This time he makes out with your girlfriend, wears your clothes, lays in your bed and watches tv while your girlfriend brings him lunch in bed.

You come home, notice his underwear on the floor, the crumbs all over the bed and you discover what went on.

So again, you confront your friend. He says, "Hey, you caught me, im really sorry, i wont do it again. I put my trust in the fact that you are very forgiving and merciful"
So you forgive your friend again.

The next day, the same thing happens, and the next day and the next day. In fact it happens every single day. Your girlfriend spends every moment with your friend while you are at work. They take your money and have all kinds of fun and go on all kinds of adventures. Then when you get home she is always tired and just wants to sleep.

I would have put the girlfriend out on the curb on the first day of this nonsense. I would tell the guy that the next time he steps foot on my property I would have him arrested for trespassing. I would get a large dog to protect my property while I am at work. When I got home I would give him a 'nice doggy' and feed him a snack. That's just the way I roll them.

Personally i woulda dumped the gf AND the friend after the first time it happened..once a cheater, always a cheater.. jmo

This is where you say to your friend and girlfriend, I always wanted a 3 way. (And soon enough you'll have no friend to worry you)

The message of the parable is this: The "friend" is you, if you continue to live in sin

I don't believe that saying such a thing or mentioning sexual jokes is what a real Christian would say in this situation. Even joking about such a scenario (that you would never do) is still not right. It gives believers a bad name. Sexual immorality is nothing to joke about.

Well, I understood the parable loud and clear the moment I read it, my friend.

Hopefully others will be able to accept it.

God bless you and peace be unto you this fine day (for your efforts), my friend.

Say that to all the men of God who had numerous concubines to pleasure themselves with day or night.

God never approved of His people in having concubines. God's idea of us being intimate has always been one man and one woman in marriage.

Side Note:

However, you side stepping the issue, though. Making sexual jokes is never an acceptable practice for believers to make.

Sorry, no more side stepping. I'm not a believer so don't expect me to act like one.

Okay, now I see why you said it (Even though I still do not agree with you saying such a thing).

Side Note:

What makes you think there is no God or that the God of the Bible is not the one true God? Is there not enough evidences backing up the Bible for you? Did something tragic happen in your life that you blame God for? Were you impressed by your science teachers who taught the Theory of Evolution to you while you were growing up? From my perspective and experience, I cannot see how you cannot believe in God.

Please take note that I used to be an Athiest at one point in my life. But despite my arguments against my friends who believed in God, the Lord had other plans for me.

Yeah you don't want that to happen, so you better hope you know your friend pretty well.
If he knew that guy well enough to trust he wouldn't accept the invitation, he wouldn't have ever invited him to be his "friend" in the first place.

Should probably start questioning and bringing to submission to Christ some of the thoughts that go through your head, its a good practice that you reap good fruit from.
