yeah all that compassion for the poor and disenfranchised..

pleading the cause of those who can't afford medical care and who were emigrated into the country as children, not by their own volition. ..

trying to be a good steward of the environment, trying to treat everyone equally under the law. . .

definitely 'anti-Christian' ???

it can't be easy to govern a secular people fairly, under a constitution that doesn't allow you to favor a certain religious belief, no matter who you are. not any easier with an hostile congress and an hostile media and a public opinion wholly shaped by much rhetoric and little fact.
i feel sorry for the man, and i don't judge his heart. if you think you're fit to judge his heart .. ? i don't know what to tell you - i guess you are fit to judge my heart too, so please have mercy.

The king’s heart is a stream of water in the hand of the LORD; he turns it wherever he will.
(Proverbs 21:1)

Liberal and social principles are not evidence of faith in Jesus Christ and its easy to be generous with other peoples money. This country is not a secular people, its supposed to be a representative democracy, that reflects the will of the people. True, none of us know if he has called upon Christ and if he has the Spirit of God? But we are told in the scriptures what we should expect to see in a believer, and I have seen him ridicule the bible and the faith. If he wants to be accepted as a believer in Christ, let him bow his knee to the Lord, like the rest of us do. We can also see the church he attended all those years, which was not a true body of believers..."GD America"... Is not the words of a shepherd of the Lord. I think its very fair to question his sincerity in using the term "Christian" and I think its godly in that we don't allow folks to use that Name and then work against the truths of Christ.

He had to say all that...he is probably is afraid of what Obama will do in his last two years of office...but watch and see what happens ...I heard him and it was just words, he knows Obama is an enemy of Israel.

Really then you missed the part where Netanyahu named off the list of things that Obama did for Israel.
That and Netanyahu did not have to say what he said, he could have pointed out everything he didn't like about Obama and called him out. But he did not as he only said it was just a disagreement on the this Iranian deal that they had. Besides the deal Netanyahu said they have had a good relationship, and that he knows America stands behind Israel still.

I heard that...it sounded like he was trying to give him any credit he could, he don't want Obama mad at him and working against Israel anymore than he has the last two years of his term. We have never had a president so hostile to Israel and every honest person knows that.

I dont consider a man who equates a religion with the law "Thou shalt not kill" to a religion that tells you to "kill the infidel, and drive them from your lands" a Christian. Christ never once told His followers to kill in His name, in fact He taught us that /every one of us/ is condemn-able, and that we are not in the right to condemn anyone else. Saying that Christianity is the same as Islam is not a Christian thing to do, so I do not really believe hes a Christian, but only acted like one during election to get votes.
*long winded point*

But this is /actually/ the first time I have heard anything about his relationship with the Jewish people. And I havent actually found any reason to believe that he really does in this thread. Can anyone explain why they would believe he does?

The President has once even self identified himself as a Spiritual Jew...
Obama is a practicing Christian whereas the Leader of Israel, is a hardliner conservative, who probably doesn't even believe or pray to God.

Obama has had good support among Jews in America. Under him we have paid for the Iron dome and numerous other security things. Just because he does not want a nation of people to remain being oppressed by a secular non Jewish government does not mean he is against them.
