Also - blinds were able to be fixed. The blinds I have are kinda different. I've never had this type before, but they came with the house I'm living in. I decided to take a closer look at them, and they weren't actually BROKEN. two of the blades were just knocked out. I was able to put them back in, no problem. Who knows how long it will actually STAY like that, though. I love my kitty, but he is a brat.

What if I'm cool with silver or bronze, though? Does that mean my only other option is still "give up?"

I'm actually cleaning my room...kinda hate it. It's so messy. I vowed that I'd never let it be this messy again.

I'm so disorganized

Petty argument award goes to my family.

We don't need to argue and get mad over how long lasagna needs to be in the oven and how brown it currently looks. Google can tell you. Or you know, just trust that the other person knows how to cook (which they do).

All this talk of rain and snow and all we have is sunshine. Ugh! It's in the 80s in early Spring, and we're slated for possible low 90s by the weekend. Somebody, anybody, relinquish your clouds unto us!

For the past 10 years, people who don't know me have always guessed my age to be right around 18 years old. Until today. Someone asked me how old I am, didn't wait for an answer, and said, "About 35, right?"

Noooooooooo!

Maybe that person is just bad at guessing. Maybe all the other people were just being generous. Maybe they just caught me on a bad day. Or...maybe my youth is over! Woe is me!

...maybe I'm over reacting and should have a bite of chocolate.

We just had torrents of rain a few days ago. Repeat after me - Sunshine good... Rain bad...

Aw, crud.

I guess all these years I've been improperly ninja-chopping people...

Although I can't think of a time when ninja chopping isn't appropriate...

(Maybe that has something to do with why I never seem to get a second date.)

My oldest son took this photo of Red Rock in NV. I wish I was hiking there today. *sigh*

people always guessed my age at 24, which always made me happy. the last time someone guessed my age, he said 27. still younger than my real age, but it still made me sad :\

chocolate is your friend :D

MissCris and Melita--I can totally relate.

When I was in my 20's, people thought I was in high school. When I was in my 30's, people thought I was 22. Now that I'm... well, slightly older than 30 :), people will guess that I'm... gasp... 30ish. I'm getting old.

I've always figured that the best way to lie about one's age is to claim you are OLDER, because if I told people I was 47, they probably wouldn't believe it and would tell me I look a bit younger than that! :)

And it's funny how some people can still "work it" even though they're more "experienced" in years--my Grandpa is a WWII vet (which means he's been around a while) and people still think he's around 75--over 20 years younger than he actually is.
