I am watching the Bachelor tonight and the Bachelor said, This is my chance to find my soulmate.

I immediately thought, oh my gosh Ugly would be sick right now.

You have! I 've never believed in the whole soulmate junk either. This might explain my strong dislike of Nicholas Spark books and Hallmark movies.

I've only seen one Nicholas Sparks movie and zero hallmark. Suppose I won't be starting them now either. Haha

Yes! So very, yes!
I'm not exactly a fan of The Bachelor(ete) either, but the TV pretty much belongs to my wife year round on Monday night between alternating seasons of The Bachelor and Dancing With The Stars.

I had often thought to myself that if Soul mates were real, God would have given us a lifespan of a thousand years or more!! lol And you know, perhaps that is exactly the way it was supposed to be, but then we have the fall of man....

Then given the time we actually get now, especially for women, yea, um, ahem, hmmm

My aunt watches The Bachelor and she told me that towards the end of the show they go to a suite and spend the night together. So the bachelor spends the night with both women (on different nights) to see which one he likes more! Isn't that gross? Why would any woman put herself through such an evaluation?

Actually it's completely biblical, that's how Esther got married.

I usually watch the last episode of the season because I want to see if the person will actually say yes after watching this man or woman date and make out with 25 other people. I did watch an earlier episode this year because the spoiler showed one of the contestants tripping over a rug in her high heels, I couldn't miss that.

Esther had premarital sex? Because that's what is insinuated with The Bachelor, that the girls have sex with him on different nights.

Different nights? Oh, that's ok then- if they were both on the same night, that'd be a deal breaker.

I'm kidding. That's sick.

After the show is over the whole cast takes a trip to the Health Department to get tested for STD' S. This is not shown on TV.

I think that may serve a better purpose if it took place BEFORE the show not after. Just my opinion on it anyway.
