Do you all get offended when Jesus is depicted with European features? As a child, I never really noticed these things, but as an adult, I've heard that he probably didn't look like this. I've also heard that he was relatively short. To me, it doesn't really matter how he is depicted because it was his holiness that mattered. But I am wondering if you guys are bothered by it. Just curious is all :)

I have heard stuff like that about Jesus too and they even point to a scripture that says there was nothing extraordinary about his appearance, but when it comes down to it he was a Jewish rabbi born to jewish parents from the lineage of King David of Israel so therefore he most likely looked like what a Jewish rabbi from Israel looks like. Israeli's do have european features and light skin. :)
 
Either hats need to be smaller or doorways need to be wider. How can they get in the room with those hats?

Ever kill time in a meeting by making up names for the hats some people are wearing? "Fruit salad plate" is obvious, but you can also see "Wreck of the Hesperus" and "Yes we have no bananas."
 
Yeerrrssss it'll be Easter soon!

My folks don't celebrate Easter. Actually we have a 7day fasting program in church where the participants don't eat anything for 7days and survive on a liquid diet. Thankfully it is not compulsory but I did try it once and it wasn't easy.

Some day, I would like to celebrate Easter, Christmas and New Year the way you all do. :)
