Good afternoon everyone,
my SIL is doing great! So much more improvement from Thrusday. She's responding more, moving her arms... Mumbles a little bit. Able to let us know what she wants or doesn't want. Just all around wonderful news! She just hates the feeding tube, and the stuff on her wrists. She's got more color now, and doing really good. Praise God!!
Now, if only we could say to my MIL that God did the works. If it wasn't for God, she probably wouldnt have made it. Every time we say praise God, or anything to do with God, she gives is the snake eye.. Or glare at us. Sigh...
Not gonna effect my afternoon! Praise God! Now praying she heals and no more health issues ans no more surgeries!

I think it is a sheep that needs a hair cut.......I was looking at the hair color and thinking mine is getting close.....to that color - no I don't have all those curls.....or an afro.....lol
I may or may not have had an afro at one point....Don't get my church's directory this year
Sorry I have not been on line much the last couple of days. My brother is in the hospital. He has some rather serious heart and kidney problems and he is having to wait until his respective specialists can decide on the best course of action to take. I also have aging parents to care for at times so I may not be around much for a few days.
Dear Father In Heaven
Please be with our brother OH and his family - his brother especially needs your healing and care right now and I ask that You please be there during all these tests and that he will be healed and restored to health according to Your will Father.... Be with his parents too and help give OH the strength he needs in dealing with all he has going on right now, stay close to his heart and bring the peace only You can.
Also, sending a praise out for lil bits SIL and pray for her continued and complete recovery. In Jesus Name Amen.

Angela, I mostly eat organic health foods and always keep in my fridge the following things for quick & healthy snacks:
Carrots
Cucumbers
Celery
Grape tomatoes
For easy access, I chop or slice veggies ahead of time and keep them refrigerated in containers filled with spring water so they stay crisp.
Also, for healthy personal pizzas, I make them with corn tortillas. I put a little tomato sauce on them, sprinkle a little shredded cheese & bake them at 400 degrees for a few minutes till the cheese melts a golden brown. They’re delicious! You also can throw a little chopped fresh spinach on them, sliced mushrooms & a bit of crumbled blue cheese if ya like.
I make my own pita chips, too rather than buy high-calorie corn or potato chips. I bake them in the oven so there’s no grease in them.
And instead of fattening cheese dips for veggies & chips, you can add a tiny bit of sour cream to salsa and make a creamy dip that’s less calories and is yummy.
