So then are you suggesting that those who keep the Sabbath do not love Jesus?
No. But saying we must keep a day reserved for God is stupid in New Covenant times. If you want to do such a thing, go ahead. But the Sabbath IS Jesus.

Friend let us not fight over this. We should explain to the lost sheep why they are the lost sheep and keep the revelation of the Word to the Holy Spirit :)

Fair call I was not trying to fight but I see sense in what you say.

Does the Sabbath bring salvation? If the Sabbath is Christ, yes. If the Sabbath is a designated day of the week, heck, no!

From your understanding maybe, but prophecy shows the last day issue will be over the commandments of God.

Now no one disagrees on nine of them, but one there is controversy. and If you understand Revelation the whole thing takes place in the Sanctuary and the commandments are none other than the 10 as John say.

Rev 11:19 And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.

Wrath comes from the place the law resides:

Rev 15:5 And after that I looked, and, behold, the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened:
Rev 15:6 And the seven angels came out of the temple, having the seven plagues, clothed in pure and white linen, and having their breasts girded with golden girdles.

Satan hates those who keep Gods commandments:

Rev 12:17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

And those who keep them are different to those who receive the Mark of the beast:

Rev 14:12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

the Antichrist power changes the law:

Dan 7:25 And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.

and it shall be a religious persuasion who does so:

2Th 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
2Th 2:4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

So we know that the faithful will keep the law, we know that Satan hates those who keep the law, we know that Judgment is connected with the law.

So which part is it? Seems only one part that is in contention, namely the Sabbath.
You are still looking to the literal letter, not the Spiritual reality. Again, please show me anywhere in scripture where it is stated a Gentile convert under the new covenant must observe a Saturday sabbath

I did Isaiah 56 is new covenant when the Gentiles would be grafted in.

Hebrews 4 speaks of the Sabbath still in play.

Jesus taught how to keep it.

Prophecy of end time shows the commandments of God to be an issue.

Duet 30 which you admit is new covenant says:

Deu 30:6 And the LORD thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live.
Deu 30:7 And the LORD thy God will put all these curses upon thine enemies, and on them that hate thee, which persecuted thee.
Deu 30:8 And thou shalt return and obey the voice of the LORD, and do all his commandments which I command thee this day.

the commandments that are here spoken of are the ones He spoke that day.

I will repeat. God wants your heartfelt praise and worship. He wants you to take up your cross and follow after his son. That is what matters to God, not which day of the week you set aside as a Sabbath day(if you choose to set a particular day aside) You do not understand that spiritual truth. You are being led of the letter, not the Holy Spirit on this issue

Isa 56:1 Thus saith the LORD, Keep ye judgment, and do justice: for my salvation is near to come, and my righteousness to be revealed.
Isa 56:2 Blessed is the man that doeth this, and the son of man that layeth hold on it; that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and keepeth his hand from doing any evil.
Isa 56:3 Neither let the son of the stranger, that hath joined himself to the LORD, speak, saying, The LORD hath utterly separated me from his people: neither let the eunuch say, Behold, I am a dry tree.
Isa 56:4 For thus saith the LORD unto the eunuchs that keep my sabbaths, and choose the things that please me, and take hold of my covenant;
Isa 56:5 Even unto them will I give in mine house and within my walls a place and a name better than of sons and of daughters: I will give them an everlasting name, that shall not be cut off.
Isa 56:6 Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to the LORD, to serve him, and to love the name of the LORD, to be his servants, every one that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and taketh hold of my covenant;
Isa 56:7 Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.
Isa 56:8 The Lord GOD which gathereth the outcasts of Israel saith, Yet will I gather others to him, beside those that are gathered unto him.

The Sabbath attached to the gathering in of the Gentiles.

Paul says this:

Eph 2:11 Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands;
Eph 2:12 That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:
Eph 2:13 But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.

Through Christ they are brought into citizenship with Israel and the covenants of promise. the dividing wall is taken down:

Eph 2:14 For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;

A house of prayer for all people.

Tintin my brother, works never brought you salvation. Not even in the old covenant.

Hos 6:6 For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.

God always longed for a relationship with His children.

Yes, I like your answer. Who is the lost sheep of Israel. Definitely not the Jews my friend, they are not lost. God gave Israel the bill of divorce not the Jews. Jeremiah 3:8

Accept the one whose faith is weak, without quarreling over disputable matters Rom 14:1

One person considers one day more sacred than another; another considers every day alike. Each of them should be fully convinced in their own mind. verse 5

I am convinced, being fully persuaded in the Lord Jesus, that nothing is unclean in itself. But if anyone regards something as unclean, then for that person it is unclean verse 14
[SUP]20 [/SUP]Do not destroy the work of God for the sake of food. All food is clean, but it is wrong for a person to eat anything that causes someone else to stumble. verse 20

So whatever you believe about these things keep between yourself and God verse 22

Spoken concerning the new covenant. You reject it, for it does not fit in with the literal letter of the OT commandments

No, for you cannot give any scripture can you that states Gentile converts must observe a Saturday Sabbath under the new covenant. You are stuck in the literal letter of commandments, not the spiritual reality. I have given you the plainest of scripture from Rom 14, but you will never accept it, preferring to turn to what was stated under the old covenant. As Jesus said:

Many after drinking the old wine don't want the new, for they say. ''The old is better'' Luke 5:39

Friend, you are derailing this thread now because this has nothing to do with the Sabbath.

So what are the conditions for us to derail a thread?

I don't consider discussing whether a person must observe a specific day as a Sabbath to be derailing the thread entitled ''Sabbath''
