i make a sort of chicken stew topped with buttermilk biscuits and it takes 3 hours to do.
(not counting all the dishes....)
definitely would prefer this one.

This will be one of the first things I will make after my next Dr. appointment in the beginning of May. The chicken and dumpling casserole.... I have gone back to eating more raw vegies and fruit in an effort to help clean up my lack of self control at the holidays and then Valentines day and then just eating bad....
Why is it so easy to fall back into old, bad habits and so hard to be good.....any way.....back to a better eating choice regimen than my horrible Blond anything goes diet....... I bet my A1C number is gonna go up anyway.... I better start walking seriously and swimming even if the water is cold.....JUST DO IT BLOND!!!!!

John 21:3 .) Simon Peter saith unto them, I go a fishing. They say unto him, We also go with thee. They went forth, and entered into a ship immediately; and that night they caught nothing.
4 .) But when the morning was now come, Jesus stood on the shore: but the disciples knew not that it was Jesus.

6 .) And he said unto them, Cast the net on the right side of the ship, and ye shall find. They cast therefore, and now they were not able to draw it for the multitude of fishes.
7 .) Therefore that disciple whom Jesus loved saith unto Peter, It is the Lord. Now when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he girt his fisher's coat unto him, (for he was naked,) and did cast himself into the sea.
8 .) And the other disciples came in a little ship; (for they were not far from land, but as it were two hundred cubits,) dragging the net with fishes.
9 .) As soon then as they were come to land, they saw a fire of coals there, and fish laid thereon, and bread.

That is what I used this morning on the French Toast I made. There were sliced strawberry's too in a special glaze and small glasses of OJ.
I see you have been busy and made all of us breakfast yesterday and I missed it....hey popped it in the micro and it is good to go....yum..... I sure wish it was that easy.....
Tourist makes the BEST French Toast Ever....not sure what he does to it.....not trying to learn either as I like him cooking....he can be in our kitchen anytime no problem.......

It is because he adds an extra bit of love with every toasty...
I feel that all of my friends here on CC are a gift from God and the ones that post in this thread are all special.....I am not going to say just how special they are but let's just say that we are all SPECIAL people......
