Haven't seen you in awhile Brother........:) as for "last days," all I know for sure is after today, there will be one less day. So, maybe we are in the "one less days?"
Yep, life has been a bit busy lately, but it's good to be involved, if only in short bursts. Good to see you.

And I agree with you completely on "one less day". That's why we should care less about identifying how many days left there really are, and instead take care of the day God has given us today.

What did Elijah say when the child sneezed seven times?

Well, nothing ofcourse because its a superstition to say God bless you (in whatever language) when you do something as natural as sneeze. I dont even think theres a scriptural example of someone sneezing and saying God bless you (because of something like that). Am I missing it?

I dont find learning a language of another people (of another country) I'll never visit interesting at all.

(but thats just me though)

Well, it is almost second nature to speak at least a little Spanish here in the Tampa Bay Area. I started Spanish classes in school in the second grade. (Some day the Latinos may quit laughing at my delivery)

But the Spanish response to a sneeze is "Jesus!"... done in a staccato burst. Kinda scares you the first time someone says it to you.

BTW, do you know the basis for that "superstition?" It has a perceived medical basis, not really "religious."

I should have said this first so please forgive me. Welcome to CC deacon_mo :)

One thing we must understand about the difference between "religions" and Christianity is the difference between man and God. If you happen to research many of the main religions of the world you will notice that they are very "man centered". True Christianity on the other hand is only God centered. Religion can be defined as man reaching to God. Christianity is God reaching to man.

You mention in your OP about all these "new religions" that are "popping up". Notice how they are all centered on man. Some even call themselves "Christian" but they will then say we don't like what the Bible says about "this and that" so we will forget about those things. We will only use what we like and call ourselves christian because we use the Bible to justify ourselves.

True Christianity does not throw out any of the Bible but takes it all as God's Word as truth and trusts God for understanding. Religions take what they "like" and disregard the rest because the hard sayings don't make them "feel good".

You also mention the name used for God, Yahweh, and think it is some "new thing". No worries. This derives from the Hebrew consonants "YHWH" and is translated "Lord" in English versions of the Bible. This has also been translated as "JHVH" which is where "Jehovah" comes from. A real cool study you might be interested in would be "the names of God" which, as others have mentioned, yields many other names of God.

God bless you brother as you grow closer to God just as myself and many others here are doing.

What the heart stop thing?

And how ironic too, because my heart started having problems after a big orange box store hired unlicensed spanish speaking fellows (without all documentation) to install our new roof and pretty much left us with over $50,000 worth of damages.

Heh, recall I told ya I was a little mad recently? and I that I have a little lingering heart thingy?

It likely why I have somewhat of a resistence over trying to learn spanish (at all) at this point in time lol

However, now that I think about it, I wished I had learn how to ask for their licenses in spanish lol
