I wonder if anyone has actually touched a mole? Cause I have and they are really soft. Now, I am not trying to make a "mountain of a mole hill" or anything. LOL

Where do you find a mole? There is a groundhog that lives in my backyard...but that is the closest thing I have seen to a mole...

My dad actually found it in our backyard. My house in surrounded by fields. Their fur is a lot like velvet.

No, but I patted an echidna. It wasn't soft.

How difficult is it to find a church where the Pastors aren't afraid to be pastors and the congregation to be actual disciples?

I'm back. I had a decent time at the event, though it could've went a little better if I wasn't so damn awkward. But I was able to get some pictures of relatives and hoping to keep them in a safe file when I can. One person there told my mother that 'her daughter looks gorgeous'... shucks. I guess putting a little extra effort in the appearance helped.

What I've mainly wanted was to see if I can connect with a cousin I was once close to. Unfortunately, that didn't seem to happen... She did insist that we should go some place some time even though she suggested it once before, so I'm not going to hold my breath* on that. All in all, it was good seeing family while I was able to.

In a new church I went to, they had a new pastor who was preaching a sermon. He was speaking about Moses when this happened -

Pastor: "God used Moses to send the 8 plagues over the Egyptians."
Church: "Erm".. *cough* *cough*
Pastor: "I'm mistaken, there were more than 8.. is it 10 or 12?"
Congregation: *WHAT???*
Pastor: "God used Moses to send the 12 plagues over the Egyptians."
Me: *FACEPALM*

Needless to say, I figured that this guy has not read the Bible enough to become a Pastor.

That's the point that I get up and walk out. If the average 10 year old in Sunday School knows how many plagues God poured out on the Egyptians then the guy who is supposed to be teaching the adults sure better know. I think it's a reasonable expectation that my pastor and elders know more about scripture than I do.
